What can I say about Garrett Beem, he is a hard working, honest guy and will get the job done. Not only does he get the job done he does it with his clients in mind. We were out looking for our new home in another state and an issue came up with the Septic on our home, Garrett was there the whole process taking care of it for us while we got to focus on finding our other home. He kept us updated the entire step of the way and he was very understanding of how stressful the situation was and was helpful to relieve the stress. My husband and I were looking to buy our first home. We had another realtor before and it was just not working out. We then met Garrett Beem. From the start, he was informative, helpful, and eager to help us find the perfect home for us. Within a few hours, we were scheduled to look at 8 homes and had all the information at our fingertips.We met up with Garrett in Wimberley and he exceeded our expectations. He had answers to all of our questions or found out the answers within an hour, handouts on all the properties, gave us tips and knowledge about what we were getting into, and most importantly, was honest and real with us. Our circumstances were a little different since we fell in love with a home that had an active contingency, but Garrett never stopped fighting for us. We closed on our dream home at the end of August, thanks to the help of our wonderful realtor! Not sure who has seen the Austin area market recently. Its incredibly HOT and hugely benefitting the sellers. Most of my friends had been looking for a home for 8+ months and had already written 10+ offers, all of which were beat out! Homes are selling for on average 20% over ask and have 3+ offers in hand before they even hit the market. It is very bleak for buyers to have any control or say.And then there is Garrett! Garrett specializes in Dripping Springs and thankfully I was introduced to him through a very reputable builder in the area. The builder said he finds me everything I need off-market. I couldnt have gotten a better endorsement than that as builders have tight margins and need to find deals.On the first day of meeting Garrett he showed me a lot and a home, both off market. We wanted the home. Because his relationships run deep, he was able to secure us the property off-market, convincing the agent and sellers to not bring it to market that very next week.And dont think we paid a crazy price either. It was a very fair price and the home appraised. Thats important, because in this market buyers are waiving their appraisal contingencies because they know theyre paying more than market rate typically.This was our first home in TX, and things are done a bit differently here. He was there every step of the way, even anticipating questions, and made this an incredibly smooth process.I am very very very happy that we were referred to Garrett. And I strongly recommend anyone looking in Dripping or a neighboring area to work with him. He will get my business multiple times over.
