Great to work with: I am not a real estate person but have bought and/or sold 8 properties over the years and have dealt with several people in the real estate business. Some of these properties were due to me taking care of the estate of a family member. Out of all of those in the real estate business that I have worked with, Wade Mitchell has been the best. I dont say that lightly but I say it because in every conversation I have had with Wade I have found him to be knowledgeable, helpful, and a straight-shooter. Wade has gone out of his way to help me even with situations where he had nothing to gain. Being helpful, forthright, and honest just seems to be who he is. Emmy was also very helpful every time I talked or emailed with her. Initially I received a letter in the mail from them offering to buy the house.everyone has received those letters, most of the time I tossed it in the shredder. Somehow this one felt different. I called & spoke to an actual person within a ring or two. The receptionist was an absolute delight. I told her I wanted to sell quickly. We moved to Oklahoma and had an older rent house in Amarillo that we needed to sell. Wade Mitchell was referred to me as a resource by a realtor friend who I trust. Wade made an offer on the house, with the idea of fixing it up for resale, but we ended up selling it to the tenants, without using a realtor. As a real estate investor, Wade Mitchell exudes integrity. I was though as a homeowner, through with the remodeling, through with the repairs and just wanted to get to get out from under but, cringed at the thought of strangers traipsing through my house so I contacted Wade Mitchell to find out what the Mitchell Property Group would offer to buy my house. The offer was very fair but, unexpectedly Wade suggested I let one of their agents from Mitchell Realty list my house instead. Wade was aware of how I felt dealing with strangers in my house but, said he felt strongly it wouldn’t take long to sell and I would get considerably more for it on the market. Wade recommended I meet with Laura Riggin and if things didn’t work out he would stand behind his original offer. I agreed to give it a try but, only for a short period of time. Well a short period of time is all it took…Laura listed my house and 3 days after she planted the sign in my yard she presented me with a cash offer for the asking price. Wade was exactly right; his great advice and honesty attests to Mitchell’s exceptional business ethics. If you have a property to sell, contact the Mitchell Property Group BEFORE you deal with these places that send out letters and postcards that advertise buying houses. We needed to sell our elderly Dads house quickly and his house was in need of a lot of repairs. He did not pressure us and spent time educating us about what to expect. We also got bids from other people. Dee Dee Waldo was a great realtor during the sell of my house and the relocation of my family. She always provided my wife and l with the things we needed to aid in the sell of my home. We worked with Emmy on the sale of my Moms house. From the start, Emmy was incredibly helpful and responsive. We needed to make some decisions about renovations and updates that would add value to the home and she helped guide us through that process. Because we did not live in Amarillo, she also helped us manage things from a distance. She was very quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. When renovations were completed and we were ready to list the house, she guided us on what to price the home at based on her knowledge of the local market. We received an offer within a week and followed her advice on negotiations, coming to agreement with the buyer on the price within a day.
