If youve ever worked with a realtor and thought, I wish they would stop with all the red tape/unnecessary junk and just use a common sense approach, then you will be extremely relieved when you meet the team at Lubbock Discount. They have been the easiest team to work with by far, and their self-listing option is the only one like it in Lubbock! Highly recommended for investors who want to self-list and homeowners who want to save lots of money on commissions. 5 stars for sure!

I worked with Stephen Bearden at Lubbock Discount Realty to sell several rental houses. I could not have been more happy with the professional service I received from Stephen. He pulled multiple comps on every house to help me price the house correctly. On a couple of the houses he advised me on repairs he thought should be made in order of maximize the price when selling it. When I did not know contractors to do some of the work he provided me with a list of people he knew, and had worked with before. Stephen even agreed to meet a couple of them on the job site for me, because I could not make the appointments. All of the contractors Stephen recommended did excellent work.Every house I listed with Stephen sold very quickly, most within 30 days. They also all sold very close to the comp price. Stephen never once promised me something, without coming through on it. Stephen always took my calls, no matter the day of the week, or the time of day. Very rare in this day and age.I was so happy with Stephen, that when I decided to purchase a new home I used Stephens services to make that purchase. Once again he did a great job for me!I am so confident in Stephen and Lubbock Discount Realty, that I recommended him to my brother. He was equally happy with his experience with Stephen. If you are in need of the services of a good Realtor, I highly recommend Lubbock Discount Realty, and Stephen Bearden.

My husband and I went to Lubbock Discount Realty to buy our first home and Cynthia Mears was wonderful. From the first time we met her she was more than willing to show us any house we wanted to see. Her eagerness to work with us was very impressive and so helpful in what could have been a rather stressful situation. Folks if you are using another realtor your really missing out! Stephen Bearden was the greatest! We needed to find a house quick and only had about 30 days moving from DFW. Stephen was always available no matter what time we spoke. Even though it was a time crunch we never really felt rushed. We gave him the parameters of what we were looking for and he helped us every step of the way. He was able to negotiate with the builder to get the necessary changes we wanted without hesitation. Also the yard was dead and he was able to get the builder to take it up and provide us with an amazing healthy lawn. If I were in the market again I would defiantly use Stephen and Lubbock Discount Realty!

I’ve had the good fortune of working with Stephen Bearden and Lubbock Discount Realty twice now. I’ve moved around Texas and worked with a dozen realtors across every major city at this point so I feel pretty confident in recognizing good, experienced help when I meet it! They’ve helped me to both buy and sell a home. I cannot think of enough good things to say about him and his company, but let me try!Firstly, I love the idea of going with a non-traditional listing service as a home seller. They saved me a small fortune by going with the flat rate fee instead of costing me an entire 3%. He didn’t arm wrestle me into a lengthy contract either; he was willing to continue selling my home indefinitely without ever charging me another fee. It was unnecessary, however, as my home sold in less than a month of listing! He had phenomenal comps to compare my property to so we came up with a great starting price. He was willing and able to be reached any day of the week at any time (and trust me when I say I sent some late night texts with emergency questions!). He was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly.On the buying end, Stephen has also helped me to find the perfect home. Again, he’s first rate with his comps so he knows a good deal when he sees it. He’s also been in the business a very long time so he’s seen a lot and knows almost everyone. He came with us to closing at our request. We were completely prepared and done in a heartbeat with no surprises.I’ve had to “babysit” other realtors before to make sure things got done, but Stephen was always on his game and helped us every step of the way. I highly recommend Lubbock Discount Realty and Stephen. I was looking for a new home for my family to shorten our commute to school and sports, and he found us what we were looking for and did some negotiating for us to get the price down. He also helped my sell my mothers house we were living in at the time. They kept us updated on the progress until the house sold.I was so confident in them that when my company was looking for an office earlier this year, I contacted him and he helped us find us the right office and price for us.
