We met Jennifer Summers through Zillow, after requesting a tour of a home we found while on a walk in my mom’s neighborhood. We didn’t have plans to move but after seeing the house and talking with Jennifer over the course of the next week, we decided to list our home in Hutto with her brokerage. In a buyer’s market, we thought the odds were slim on us being able to sell our home, much less sell for what we needed to. Jennifer is AMAZING! If you have the patience to read my review I am going to describe why I feel she is the BEST!Jennifer and her team helped me to sell my home in Austin. I am located in another state so the process was going to be painful and Jennifer made it so easy.My property was an investment property after eviction and so it looked accordingly bad and damaged. Jennifer recommended a local guy to do repair work (I compared the prices and he was the cheapest and most responsive). She essentially was my eyes and ears locally as I did not fly out to oversee the renovation process. She communicated with me and the repair guy daily and went to check on the progress. I mean she was really caring about the whole process (which was way more than is required of a realtor)!Jennifer offered me several marketing options before I decided to remodel. I was trying to avoid remodeling remotely and to sell for less, Jennifer reached out to investors from the area and placed my home of various advertising lists she has separate from the ones like Zillow, Redfin etc. this gives another edge to have her on your side!She did not try to tell me I could sell my home for what I wanted to hear (like other realtors I spoke to did). She told it to me straight, your home is too old, too big, the timing is bad, drop your expectations and price. Of course at first I resisted and listed the home higher, and she went with it, reporting almost daily on any interest/showing she might have. Then as we saw there was none at the price I set, she clearly explained that since I told her I was trying to sell as soon as possible, keeping my original price would only do damaged and drag the time the home is sitting in the market. As soon as we lowered a bit to the price she recommended the house started getting more interested folks stopping by. Her team took notes and shared with me what people said during the open house about the condition of the home, the price and their interest level. This helped me to get a better picture of what buyers were looking for.When we got an offer, she explained every little detail to me. Helped to to decide when to give into some requests and when to stand firm.She also has this calendar that sinks with google and updated on what is happening everyday with my property as far and marketing, and later phases of the sale. This made it easy to see and follow the progress of the team, my various document deadlines etc.She was even sick during some of this and still was on top of everything!This small review cannot describe how amazing, personable, professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with Jennifer is.I would recommend Jennifer to anyone who is interested in working with a caring person, who really watches out for your best interest and is able to analyze the market correctly to help you figure out what would sell!
