My husband and I decided to move from the DFW area to Georgetown in 2014. This was our first home to buy as a couple, and we anticipated a lengthy process to find a house that matched both our expectations.We selected George DeVillar as our realtor. George spent a significant amount of time identifying the specific criteria we desired in a house and scheduled 8 houses to view on our first trip to Georgetown. We were astounded when both of us fell in love with the second house we viewed that day. It was a new listing, and George knew that it would not last long on the market. At the end of the day, George met with us to prepare a contract and make an offer. The following day our offer was accepted, and George negotiated the purchase of our new home in Georgetown in January 2015. We were so impressed with Georges impeccable professionalism throughout the process. He is a great listener, and made a significant effort to anticipate our needs and questions from application to closing. Additionally, he assisted us in making recommendations and arranging services with local vendors prior to, and following our move in. We happily give George enormous credit for helping us find our forever home.

George is an ex-neighbor and a friend.but that is irrelevant to this review.My professional experience with George consist of a sale of a home, a purchase of a home and the acquisition of a rental in the middle. In a nutshell, each transaction was handled professionally, which I consider a high order compliment.George has a friendly, easy going demeanor and an attention to detail second to none. And details matter in real estate.I highly recommend George DeVillar for any real estate needs.

We have had the privilege of doing 5 Real Estate transactions with George in the last 12 years and we were pleased with the process each time! George had a lot of patience with us as we looked in Georgetown for the first time back 12 years ago. When we called George inquiring about one of his listings that perked our interest, he was available to show us that property in a timely fashion and not only his listing but any MLS listings that met our needs. We had a lot to learn as we were from out of state new to the area. He gave us valuable information and showed us a variety of areas to view. All things went smoothly, he knows the business! Later we purchased a couple of rentals and he was right there for us as we did an extended look. He went the extra mile.
