I recently sold my home through Alvin Nelson, for above asking and our conditions met. Alvin was an expert at negotiating better terms that allowed us to remain in our home until our new house in Houston was built and we could move in. Ill add that I met Alvin 3 years ago at one of his open houses. What impressed me was the amount of traffic and interest he generated, so at that time I knew if I ever sold my home, Alvin would be my realtor. Moving to Texas was a major project! Finding a home once I got here was an even bigger one! When I met Alvin at a real estate showing, I was so impressed with his friendliness, patience, and professionalism that I kept his card. When I called him to see a couple of pieces of property, he had excellent COVID protocols in place to protect his clients yet still allow us to view properties. I gave up on finding and buying a home at that time, but when THE home came on the market, Alvin instantly set up a showing, helped me through the process of making an offer, inspection, closing, etc. He kept his positive attitude through it all, answered all my questions, made helpful suggestions, and has continued to check-in every once in awhile to see how things are going. We had been getting the run around with a lot of other agents and one day I was working and Alvin was passing out open house flyers I think and he seen me and gave me his business card. I was kind of giving him a hard time I guess bc I told him I didnt want it bc everytime I give an agent a chance to help us they let us down. Alvin said to me Im not them and to give him a chance. We did and when I say he came through and kept his word lol he did exactly that. We are so grateful for him and would recommend him to everyone.
