I wish I could give more than 5 stars.. Alicia went above and beyond while helping us look for a home in Forney, and pretty much our entire move. She showed us countless homes, researched more criteria and ensured we saw every home we wanted to. Alicia has a heart of gold and is one of the most sincere people Ive ever had the pleasure of working with. She truly cares about her clients and their experience in finding a home. Most realtors do not get involved with finding rental properties, because it doesnt seem to be very lucrative, but Alicia started looking for listings right away when I called her. I’m not exactly sure where to start as this review is a long time coming. Moving here from California in a time last year when the market was so hot things were selling immediately and over asking I didn’t know who to trust. Years ago I worked in the mortgage industry, have bought and sold several personal homes, and knew the importance of good representation and am not naive to the real estate game. I initially got two referrals from people I knew, but quickly found out referrals now are about referral networks and fees being paid out. I dodged a bullet when in contract with one of these realtors, he started pressuring me after a horrible and surprising inspection report came back trying to pressure me into proceeding without repairs when I didn’t feel financially comfortable. His best interest was his commission check, not what was best for me the client. My friend who had referred me said she would get a referral fee if the deal closed and had never actually used him in a transaction - something that we to me a real estate referrals.I decided to then do the leg work and read reviews online from (hopefully) actual clients and find someone myself. With so many options it’s overwhelming and somehow I happened on Alicia - she is a Godsend. The first house we met at I knew I had found the one - not the house - it was overpriced and in horrible condition, but Alicia was amazing. She definitely doesn’t try to influence your decisions, but also doesn’t let you get taken just so she can collect a check. We saw so many houses together, some were ones I found and some were ones she found. Another point this brings up is she found and suggested properties that were way below my max budget, but marked off numerous other wants on my list. This is something I experienced with other realtors - they didn’t expand beyond the max budget range - another point that Alicia has your best interest at heart not her commission.Over several months of seeing properties we went into contact on one, contingent on the sale of our Cali property. Long story short the buyers on the home we were selling kept delaying the close. After a couple extensions the sellers of the property we were in contract to buy canceled our contract. Alicia did everything she could to try to make the deal work, consoled me through my devastation, and helped me get motivated to start our search again. I had been separated from my family for months at this point, as I had accepted a job and had a set start date. Alicia really became more than a realtor, she was more like a long time friend/family. We ended up finding a home built by the same builder, it didn’t have as much land, but had more trees and a far better view. Overall I can’t say enough good things about Alicia and highly recommend her - she will be my realtor (and now friend) for life and this is from an actual client who isn’t standing to benefit from a referral. Call her, you won’t be disappointed!

I cannot recommend Alicia highly enough! She truly is a realtor that is working for you, and not her commission. She never pressures you to pick a house. My wife and I had slightly different ideas of what we wanted and looked at so many houses before finding the right one. She never became impatient or testy and was always working hard to find the right house. Our friends recommended her to us and we have bought 2 houses over the last 7 years (as well as helping us sell the first one) and could not be more happy with her!

When it comes to selling or buying a house, Alicia is your woman! We probably visited nearly 20 homes before placing an offer on our current home. Alicia would walk the home very carefully and point out positives and negatives that homebuyers often overlook. We felt so comfortable with Alicia that we actually put an offer in with a virtual tour as we were out of town. Through the negotiation process Alicia was able to guide us beating a several other offers. Oh and let me mention the little unexpected joy she leaves throughout the year...here are a few examples she placed flags in our driveway for 4th of July and left candy bags for the kids on Halloween. We originally found a property in Kaufman, TX and decided to look up realtors in that area. Alicias number popped up and her website said 24/7. Although it was late, my wife convinced me to give her a call and Alicia did, in fact, answer the phone! I told her our situation and she was willing to show us the property the next day. We ultimately decided against the first property in Kaufman, but we continued looking. We got close to being under contract on a different home a couple weeks later in Gordonville, TX, but we got beat out by an all-cash offer at the last minute. Discouraged, we were about to give up on our search all together but then I came across a little house in East Texas that looked absolutely perfect! We went out to see the property the next day, and decided to put an offer in that night. After a long weekend waiting, we received the good news that our offer was accepted! Alicia met my wife at the contracted property for the inspection since I couldnt be there, and she was very effective at negotiating some repairs from the sellers. It didnt take us too long to close on our house after the inspection and Alicia was in close communication throughout the entire process. My wife and I are happy we decided to call Alicia that night and we absolutely love our new home. Thanks, Alicia!!!
