I am a real estate attorney and when I need someone to handle an eviction I call Kris Bowen. Hes professional, knowledgeable and charges a fair price. Many attorneys say they handle evictions and they will do ok as long as its straightforward, Kris has the experience and savvy to handle even the most difficult tenants as well as their appeals and writs of possession. Highly recommend, wouldnt call anyone else.

Mr. Bowen was excellent and did a fantastic job for our eviction case. He is professional, responsive, a great communicator and hardworking attorney who also happens to be extremely knowledgeable regarding the eviction laws. As a motel business owner, it was unpleasant to deal with a long-time tough customer who was behind on her rent, ignored making any payment and refused to leave the property. We reached out to Mr. Bowen, explained to him about the situation and he filed all the relevant documents in the court. After winning the eviction case and due to his exceptional effort and outstanding service, the customer finally vacated the property. If you need to evict a tenant who has not or will not pay rent for any reason I would strongly encourage you to use attorney Kris Bowen. I got stuck with a terrible career tenant and felt helpless. I had tried to coax him to leave myself unsuccessfully. After doing research, I reached out to Mr. Bowen, and he carefully guided me through the process, explaining every step of the way, and making recommendations to deliver the best outcome. Mr. Bowen and Cheryl were very helpful and punctual making sure to get all the information I needed, even with our busy schedules. As a landlord you hope to never need to evict anyone, however when tenants choose not to pay for any reason its very important to choose the best attorney so tenants do not take advantage of you. I am sure without his help my tenant would still be living at the property today rent free.

As a first time landlord, this was a nightmare scenario that I could not have overcome without Kris’ expertise. My husband and I are first time landlords. To say the least, our first landlord experience was horrible, but we can now see light at the end of the tunnel thanks to Mr. Kris Bowen. To make the long story short, despite not losing his job during the pandemic, our tenant stopped paying us rent in April. It is our belief he knew he was protected under the CARES act and wanted to take full advantage of such protection. We had previously always worked with him on late rent and waived late fees 95% of the time. We tried negotiating payment with him all of May and June, but he would avoid us and suddenly towards the end of June he ceased all communication with us. Not content with not paying rent, he went and got himself a dog despite having signed a no pet lease contract. It was after this that my husband and I realized he had no intention to work with us and that we had a big situation in our hands. Despite financial struggles, we decided to reach out to Mr. Bowen. To say the least, it was the best decision we could have made! Not only was Mr. Bowen extremely professional and knowledgeable on the matter, but never once did we feel rushed or dismissed by him and/or his staff. He listened to us carefully and with empathy and loaded us with great advice. Mr. Bowen assisted us in creating a clear, strong, and lawful notice to vacate letter which we strongly believe was what motivated our tenant to finally move out and avoid eviction. Was referred to The Bowen Law firm by a lady claiming to handle evictions with the no law degree , gladly took my money appeared on my behalf and then informed me that I needed a lawyer. Big mistake hiring a business like that and never again. Was hesitant with working with the Bowen firm but after the paid consultation we went over the case which laid out a little bit of what went wrong at the hearing, what we have to do to fix it and what I can expect going forward. Having time to educate and lay out a plan helped put me at ease which made me ready to jump onboard. Overall great experience.

Mr Bowen and his staff were very prompt in returning my calls and texts. We had an unusual situation where I was helping my deaf brother remove some guests who had overstayed their visit and when asked to leave, would not. We wanted to make sure that we were following all the legal avenues and guidelines to get the individuals to vacate his home. Although Covid 19 measures were in place the transactions went smoothly and efficiently. Mr Bowen even had a conversation discussing all the details using an interpreter through Sorenson video which he had never done before and was very positive about the unique communication between him and my deaf brother.
