My husband and I needed to relocate immediately and we decided to make our first home purchase. After a friend referred us to work with Petra we explained our situation and speed at which we needed to accomplish everything. Within one week she completely opened her schedule and dedicated a whole week to assisting us find a house. She was very detailed in her approach and listened to all of our wants to help find that perfect home.When visiting each home she provided her years of wisdom to help us truly understand each house. This was critical in our decision making process as several of the houses appeared perfect but had downsides that Petra brought to our attention. In the end we were able to find that perfect home that we were incredibly happy to be living in.After finding the house we had an offer prepared and submitted immediately. The negotiations went flawlessly with Petra’s guidance. Closing was also a breeze! Every step of the way Petra was there to answer any and all questions. I highly recommend that you hire Petra Richardson to be your real estate agent. I recently bought my first home with Petra’s help. Not only did she find me the perfect starter home. She is an exceptional negotiator that was able to more than beat the comps for my neighborhood. What impressed me the most about Petra was her experience. Having Petra on hand is like having a home inspector and a real estate agent walking though every potential home with you. She is not afraid to point out issues with a home and more than once saved me from making a novice mistake as a first-time home buyer. Petra never made me feel rushed and always accommodated my busy work schedule. She is super responsive, going so far as to show homes over the easter weekend. I always felt that Petra’s priority was getting me into the right home not getting a fast commission. She is especially the right fit for you if you are a military family having to purchase a home sight unseen: no one else is going to go the extra mile to make sure the property you are getting is in good shape at a good price. We were/are truly fortunate that we had/have Petra on our side.We contacted Petra Richardson with Home Team of America to help sell our home at the suggestion of a friend. It turns out that was the best advice and decision made. In just the few minutes into our meeting, we realized we were talking to a top-notch real estate agent. Upon further visiting with her she had a solid plan to sell our home. Petra took the time to thoroughly explain to us the selling process and made us feel at ease knowing that she would be there for us at every step. Petra provided guidance and suggestions on the best way to prepare the house for sale - which items to concentrate on and which ones we shouldn’t. She saved us plenty of time and money from the get go. While we were preparing the house, she was still hard at work setting things in motion. Once we the house was ready it was showtime and Petra went into action doing what she does best. She brought in a professional photographer for the house pictures; she thoroughly walked us through the market assessment to price it right; and promptly listed the house. She kept us informed every step of the way and we never felt like we were on our own to figure things out. No question we had was too big or too small for her. Petra is absolutely amazing! My husband and I were first time homebuyers in a crazy market and Petra was by our side every step of the way. Her knowledge and professionalism is superb.Beyond that, she was an amazing advocate who went to bat for us over and over again. Whenever we had a questions or concerns she would answer the phone with a detailed response, no matter our question. She was never pushy and always gave my husband and I the space to make decisions every step of the way. However, when we needed her expertise and experience she always gave a straightforward answer that included the pros and cons of each option. She never hides and ball and can explain the second and third order effects of a decision with clarity. It was such a wonderful experience working with Petra from start to finish. The market has been so crazy for buyers lately and it seemed like every home was getting snatched up as soon as they were listed. When we found our dream home Petra immediately helped us to submit our offer and take all the necessary steps to get it accepted and make it ours. She was even able to convince the sellers to make several repairs even though that is exceptionally rare in the current market. If youre moving to or leaving the San Antonio area and you arent working with Petra then you just arent getting the best experience you could. There arent enough stars on and rating system to show how wonderful she was. We are a military family and we had to buy remote. She was patient, kind, and empathetic. She drove all over the place for us. She would talk us out of bad houses when we were getting desperate and told us to trust her and she would find us the perfect house. She delivered on her promise. We closed on our house this afternoon after doing a walk through earlier and it is everything we could have hoped for and more. So much so that the first thing I did after closing was ruch to a computer to write this review. She walked us through the confusing nitty gritty of the loans, negotiated for us on price, she was unilaterally responsible for the appraisal coming back after the VA tidewater incident (which she also explained what tidewater was because we didnt know). She was just remarkable from start to finish and we will continue to recommend her and work with her in all of our home endeavors. Thank you Petra!

I have been in real estate investing for close to 15 years now and have worked with many real estate agents across California, Texas and Florida. I would rate Petra in the top 1 percentile of all agents I have worked with. Her professionalism, work ethics, responsiveness and most importantly integrity are second to none. It is very difficult to find an agent who is very honest about their opinions and prioritizes honest advice over pushing for a quick transaction. She also listens carefully to your needs and then does all the homework to narrow down the list based on your criteria which very few agents have the patience to do. Whether you are an investor or a buyer for your primary residence I would highly recommend Petra.

Petra was a pleasure to work with and always specific when it comes to homebuying questions. She knew right off the top of her head what questions to ask when looking for a home. She will also fight for you to make sure what was discussed will happen. I will happily work with her again. Being that she is also from Germany was a plus, because we both were able to converse in German here and there. I would definitely recommend her. Her communication with her clients are always prompt and after a year she will still keep in touch with you to remind you of what needs to be filled out or submitted. I would like to emphatically express my utter and complete satisfaction with the job done by Petra. I stumbled upon her, serendipitously, after reading a few glowing reviews. I began working with Petra in October of last year when I explained to her my unique moving circumstances, what I was looking for, and what the process looked like to get from A to Z. I had previously only purchased one home, in a different state and was unfamiliar with the home-buying process in Texas. Not only would I be purchasing a home in Texas, but selling a home (simultaneously) from Arizona. Unfortunately, my experience with my realtor, on the selling end in Arizona, went dismally. Fortunately, Petra was there to pick up the pieces. She not only helped me with the purchase of my Texas home, but also gave me critical advice to ensure my sale in Arizona went through successfully. Her knowledge of the industry is unparalleled. Petra is a straight shooter, she is honest, frank, thorough, and a delight. She felt like an old friend almost immediately.
