Melissa Roberts was an invaluable asset to me in the sale of my property in Dripping Springs. She was readily available whenever I needed assistance, guidance or had questions. She extensively researched the area for comps which was not an easy task, since not many small properties like mine have been recently offered for sale with the kind of desirable frontage access to Ranch Road 12, having no restrictions, have been offered for sale in the area. When the requested appraisal initially came in lower than expected, Melissa was quick to respond to the lender with solid examples of why the assumptions which had been made by the appraiser were not applicable to my property and deserved to be re-evaluated based on the properties particular geographic location, its proximity to similar businesses and the growing popularity of the area for beverage tasting venues. Upon re-evaluation by the appraiser, the value of the property was not only increased above its original list price, but its appraised value also exceeded the offer price made to me by the buyers, which was already above my asking price. Melissa ensured that I was informed of all of my options when considering offers, as well as, explained each of them fully to me. She and her team ensured that we stayed on schedule for each of the required deadlines required for an on-time closing, with no hiccups. The process was made amazingly simple by Melissa and her crew. I could not have asked for a better experience. My son and his husband were so impressed with how well the process progressed they, too, have decided to use Melissas services as their realtor to make their first home purchase. I would happily recommend Melissas services to anyone who needs a realtor who is truly dedicated to her clients and is especially knowledgeable of the Dripping Springs area.

This is a slightly different type of review...I am not a buyer or seller, I own a engineering/retrofit company and worked with Melissa very recently. I wanted to take a minute to say how much I appreciated working with her. She was fully on top of things...made sure her clients understood required repairs, communicated well with me, made sure the property was available for us to complete the work in a timely manner, and double checked to make sure title did for sure collect my invoice at closing. Words can not express our gratitude and appreciation for Melissa. With her vision, she was able to get our house in perfect condition to sell. We had the house listed with another realtor for months and had only lowball offers. After taking the home off the market and meeting with Melissa, we made some small changes and re-listed. We had several showings within hours of going live and had a full-price offer the next day. We ended up selling the house over listing price. Melissa is professional through and through. ABOVE AND BEYOND IN EVERY WAY!!!!MELISSA AND AMY GOT THE JOB DONE in 11 DAYS!!!!We absolutely cannot say enough about the incredible experience we had with Mercer Street Real Estate (Melissa and Amy). We contracted with Mercer Street Real Estate to sell our home in Dripping Springs. We had previously listed the home with another (large) realty company located in Austin. The previous contract was for ten months and resulted in zero written offers.Melissa and Amy went right to work on getting our home sold. They were focused, professional, dedicated, determined and in constant communication with us. This was no easy feat because we live in Michigan and this was all happening from a distance. They supervised work being done on the home and made sure payments were not made until the work met with their high standards. They have a great network of contractors and were able to get work done in a short amount of time.There were several factors that were in play which caused our home to sell so quickly and for a much higher price the previous realtor convinced us to offer. One factor – Melissa and Amy KNOW DRIPPING SPRINGS! They live there! Their knowledge and love for the community is contagious. Also, Melissa and Amy came into our home and made spot-on suggestions for updates and improvements to the home that would make it more marketable.
