I am happy to leave Michelle a review for the outstanding work she did when my wife and I purchased our first new-construction home. She was a key member of the KW team that guided us at every step of the way. There were a couple things about Michelle that stood out to me.CommunicationOne was her communication style. Whether it was an email, text message, or phone conversation, the high responsiveness she demonstrated was very reassuring, especially during some of the more stressful moments of the purchase process (e.g closing day and the final days leading up to it).And the few times that she told my wife and I “I’m not able to answer that right now, but I will get back to you later”, not only did she remember to follow up without a reminder from us, but we didn’t even have to wait long; it made us feel like we were her most important client, although I could tell that she was busy helping several other clients at the same time.Likewise, every time that we communicated, her demeanor was consistently polite, professional, and welcoming. She also has a passionate and positive personality that is contagious and helped to make the purchasing experience feel fun.I also have to recognize the fact that she was impressively patient with the myriad of questions I sent to her and her team. I received many answers from her that helped to address my immediate concerns and also helped me to learn some things about the world of real estate which was a pretty cool bonus.ExpertiseAnother thing that stood out about Michelle was her attention to detail and expertise; there were a couple of times when I asked Michelle a question which I believed had a very simple and straightforward answer, but her response contained details and counter-questions that helped me to realize things I had not fully considered and to better understand some of the intricacies involved in the home purchase process.She was also honest when we asked for her professional opinion. For example, when my wife and I were considering different home upgrades offered by the builder, Michelle was happy to share with us her opinion about which upgrades helped to add significant value and which did not.Likewise, I remember a couple of times that I became frustrated with the builder and considered demanding/insisting certain things; Michelle and her team were by our side to advice us and help us understand the potential ramifications of our communication decisions. In some instances she guided us on how to demand something from the builder in a respectful diplomatic manner, but in other instances she respectfully gave us her honest opinion that we were being a little too unreasonable/aggressive and that the ‘battle’ was probably not worth fighting. That being said, Michelle also made it clear that all final decisions were up to my wife and I, and she was careful to respect and support all of our decisions.In the end, my wife and I successfully closed on our new-construction home without any major issues. It was quite a journey and learning experience, and I am very glad that we had Michelle and her team on our side.I could probably talk more about Michelle’s professionalism and the positive impression that she made on my wife and I, but this review is long enough already so I will conclude here. The final point I will make is that Michelle earned our business, and my wife/I would be happy to do business with her again. We’ve also recommended her and her team to various people in our social network.Thank you Michelle!
