Cheryl is extremely professional and knowledgeable on the real estate market. Shes responsible for getting us our asking price, and was also very transparent from start to finish on how long it could potentially take to sell. She also turned down bad offers without needing to really run it by us, as she understood what our house was worth, and knew we could afford to hold out for a great offer. It was a smooth sell, and anyone who uses her will be in good hands. We are very happy with the outcome.

We have had the good fortune of having Cheryl as our agent for the purchase and sale of our home. I would highly recommend Cheryl McCarter to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a home in the DFW area. Cheryl has helped my husband and I find a home we love as well as has helped our oldest son and his fiance find a home that they love! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the different pros and cons of living in different areas of the metroplex. Besides knowing her stuff, Cheryl is at heart, a genuine and truly kind and caring person. She really means it when she says that there is no dumb question! I appreciated that as I had a lot of them. Cheryl truly wants to find you the perfect home for your family. Details matter to her. She is one of the best I have ever seen in representing you as a Buyer or a Seller during contract negotiations. She is fair but she will look out for your best interest at all times. I really feel like that we mattered to Cheryl. Cheryls detailed attention to our needs in a home, paired with her knowledge of the area made narrowing our search easy and stress-free. Since we were out-of-town for most of the process, Cheryls patience in explaining the process to us was incredibly helpful, and the ability to virtually sign nearly every document from our phones was so convenient. She was also willing to be present for inspections when we werent able to, which gave us the peace of mind we needed going into closing.Working with Cheryl was an absolute pleasure. She is not only friendly and kind, but also honest and firm when it came to dealing with selling agents. Cheryl was referred to us by an industry insider, and we are eternally grateful for this recommendation. I lived next door to my father, and both houses were being sold. We had been told by two other realtors that the market was a bit soft in our neighborhood, and we should lower our expectations. (A house directly across the street was much more up to date, and had been on and off the market for over a year.) Cheryl made a few inexpensive suggestions to update each house, and explained her plan to stage and premarket these houses. Her staging company made it easier for potential buyers to envision their own furniture in these houses, and her photographer made the most of these golf course lots. At that time it was hard to believe Cheryl could create the demand she was targeting, but everything fell into place exactly as she had predicted. We promptly received multiple offers, both houses were under contract within days, and we received more than we were expecting.Cheryl was just as amazing helping us find a new home as selling our previous one. My high-maintenance (but lovable) fiancée was constantly texting or calling Cheryl way outside of normal working hours. Cheryl never replied with “I’ll check and get back to you”. She responded with extremely helpful information. When we found the perfect house I asked Cheryl to submit an offer a little under the asking price. Cheryl suggested a lower offer, then made sure the seller’s agent knew all the reasons they should accept this offer. She also had excellent recommendations for contractors to make a few changes to this home.We are thrilled with our new home, and thankful for the assistance we received from Cheryl.
