I think Kathy is fantastic. I first met her as a neighbour, and it was clear from our interactions that she has integrity and cares deeply about her work and her neighbours in Austin. When it came to buying somewhere, it was only down to what I would buy, not who I would work with.Kathy helped me to buy a condo in my neighbourhood and was absolutely on it from the beginning, getting me an appointment with the sales team within the first week (if I recall correctly, it was the first day). At every step, whether navigating the purchase, choosing someone to perform inspections, or providing support when the build was delayed and I needed a temporary place to live, Kathy was always available to help, listen, and provide support. Considering that the process started before construction in 2021 and finally closed in 2024, 10 months late, it really was incredible to have someone actively engaged at every step, even if it was just to let me rant about the construction team. Even after closing, Kathy has been available toI have found that finding a Realtor that is trustworthy and truly has your best interest in mind can be difficult. I think that you will be very happy with choosing Kathy and her team when buying your new home.

Kathy Sokolic was is absolute Rockstar and a top tier negotiator! We are first time home buyers, and I was super nervous about the negotiating aspect of buying a house. Not only did Kathy do an amazing job negotiating, she also got ALL the repairs we wanted on the house, and we already have equity in the house before it closed IN NORTH AUSTIN IN 2024!!!! She was with us through subterranean termites, sewage line repairs, and negotiating with the seller who was our landlord.Fun Fact: She also has a geology background, and her expertise came in handy when assessing repairs/damage.

Kathy Sokolic provided her services to us as the realtor representing our home sale. She met with us very early in the process and provided invaluable advice and support. She had a great list of contractors to help us with house painting, handyman services and roofing professionals. She recommended a pre-sale inspection to give us a chance to address any maintenance issues that could turn up in the selling process. We tried our best to follow as many suggestions as possible, including an appropriate asking price. The result? Our house was only listed for four days before we had an offer and we closed on the sale in two weeks. She always made us feel as though we were her only client even though she is one of the busiest people we have ever met. Kathy really is one of the best!

Kathy was great! As a long-time contented renter, my housing search didnt have a strong sense of urgency. Kathy was very patient and was always willing to teach me about the process and look at houses whenever I would put real estate back on the front burner. When I finally got serious about a few places, she was a huge help in thinking critically about various aspects. Once I picked the spot, she was very determined in working with the other realtor and builder to make sure we got the deal done, and then afterward, when we were working through the repair list. I was very glad to have her fighting for me. Kathy has a real passion for helping people and her enthusiasm makes the process fun and as stress-free as possible. I’ve recommended her to friends before and wouldnt hesitate to do so again.

Then, in 2023 she helped us sell that home…in another crazy market. Throughout both experience, Kathy was knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly hard working. She was relentless and always trying for us. Not only that, but she was authentic and nice—nice enough you’ll want to be her friend, which is kind of a bummer if you’re moving out of town, but hey! At least she’ll have sold your house for you.
