    I have been trying to sell a home as of earlier this year. The first realtor I worked with couldn’t get the house sold due to a lien on it so I was discouraged. When David Bentinck reached out, I did feel like I could trust his work. Several other people have called but they just didn’t feel right so I gave David a chance. His professionalism, hard work and dedication finally paid off. He and his team did a tremendous job in getting things done.     Moving from Louisiana to Texas has not been an easy task.     I chose The Good Home Team after my previous realtor failed to sell my house in the previous 6 months when the market was red hot. I told Nate Fisher that I wanted my house sold within 30 days by the end of October 2022 since interest rates were already up to 7%. He had an aggressive strategy and reacted to the daily changing market conditions to get showings booked up. Once there was an offer on the house, Stephanie Stone was fantastic to work with and laid out every step of the process for a smooth flow all the way through closing. At first I didnt understand why I had to keep dropping my price but Arthur Simmons my realtor explained and I did my own research. One promise that Arthur made were the showings.     Our house sat on the market for 9 months with two other agents before we were contacted by Gavin with The Good Team.     Lets see... what can we say... we did exactly as we were asked to do as far as redoing/repainting our house which was built in 1978. We were promised wed get top price for our home if we followed the suggestions, and so we did the repairs, etc.How did our house selling story turn out? We had 20 visits within three days, multiple offers, and a contract within 4/5 days of putting it up for sale, during the Thanksgiving holidays! Doesnt get a whole lot better than that! And it was painless since we were out of town during the time it was listed, so we didnt even have one time of having to leave the house to let someone come see it (although we kept getting repeated requests to see the house even after the contract was signed).So yes, we were very pleased with the outcome!Update:We have since bought even another home from the Good Home team and it was a quality experience as well.

Sometimes that can be a challenge, depending on the market.Understanding our preferred timeline, David quickly sprung into action. Research, signs, postings, pictures and even a drone fly-by to get some aerial images. And it didnt end there. The hands-on approach Davids team took, especially Stephanie, was wonderful. Stephanie kept us continually updated and guided us through the process with ease...like an Olympic Figure Skater on ice. :)Once the house was posted we had showings every day, including the same day as the posting. While I understand that is in part to the overall market in our location, I believe this team elevated it beyond that and got our home out there to be seen by the world. Why do I believe that?     After a frustrating experience of poor communication, lack of service, multiple showings and fake feedback reviews, we canceled our house listing with a previous realtor.During the 30 day rest period, I reorganized and interviewed 6 other agents from multiple “big name” companies and not so big name groups. Nate was the last one I interviewed. He was the ONLY agent who was interested in meeting both my husband and myself. Nate was completely transparent in his “pitch” and how he answered my interview questions.     Extraordinary experience with the good home team.How do I begin. I decided to list my house and chose a friend who is a realtor from a certain agency. After having the house in the market for 12 days with only one showing, we realized it would be better to take it down and reassess at a later time, once the COVID-19 collective panic slowed down some.On the very first day after getting the house off the market I received upwards of 50 phone calls from different agencies and realtors wanting to earn my business and I calmly explained I decided to put it off for at least 30 days to reconsider options.Out of all the people trying to earn my business only one stood out by doing the very same thing I do for my customers as I begin my sales pitch, send them a video where I make sure they know who they will deal with and how to find me.In his own words “ we spoke on the phone and I wanted you to put a face on my name “.     I really cannot say enough about The Good Home Team. We have done business over the years several times and every time I choose them to represent me and my family members. To date I am 10 out of 10 successful with transactions ( purchase and sales) with them. To me they are not my agents but also my friends now. I am not easy to deal with and I have put the boys through the ringer with complications but never once have I heard that it cant be done or we ned more time.     I am a licensed realtor and real estate investor. Despite having a real estate license, my experience selling houses is not nearly on par with Elizabeths.     Its okay. Most of the time I felt like I was not hurt. Sometimes it felt like I was being down talked too. I live in a really nice neighborhood and I was looking for something close by. It always felt like I should consider myself lucky to move to Plano. Im 5 minutes from Plano 7 from Frisco Addison is less than 5 minutes away and Carrollton even less. Some of the houses that were shown to me I would never ever consider moving in too. Not very happy. I stopped looking and I try again in a year or less.
