These two are an amazing team!You have Travis, who is great with numbers. He gave us an estimate of what we would net from the sale of our house after closing costs, and how much we would be left with after buying another house. This was during the first meeting we had! With all the unknowns that you have when selling or buying a home, it was great to have some concrete information on all the fees and how they relate to the bottom line.Then you have Rachel, who has renovated several homes and has an incredible eye for design. She gave us staging instructions, and pointed out value adding upgrades that were very cheap and easy to do. These got us top dollar for our house. She was also an incredible person to look at houses with, because she could determine the quality of upgrades that were already done, and give us ideas for upgrades we could do ourselves, along with ballpark cost estimates.These two Realtors are responsive, intelligent, honest and hardworking. They are committed to finding the best house for you. They did for us!

Not that long ago my husband and I bought our first house together, Travis and Rachel helped us during the entire process. They are AMAZING even after time went by when I had questions they are always my go to realtors. They are professional and the best customer service. I did a review on them when we bought the house but let me tell you even after all this time they still are just as amazing as the day we first called them. We found Rachel and Travis through Zillow and decided to hire them as our realtors on meeting them as we liked how knowledgeable they were about the industry. We also found them to be very personable and easy to work with.After showing us a few homes they fully understood what were looking for in a home and helped narrow our search considerably so that we only looked at homes that matched our criteria. They were patient to accommodate our busy schedules and showed us at least 7-8 homes, sometimes the same home multiple times, until we found the one we loved.Throughout the process they offered excellent advice on many aspects of home buying and home ownership which was very valuable to us as first time home buyers.Travis did a great job on the competitive analysis of the homes we were interested in and gave us good advice on housing market trends here in Austin. Rachel has a keen eye for design and remodeling and gave us some very well thought through, solid recommendations for our kitchen remodel.They also gave us excellent references for contractors, mortgage lenders, title managers, etc.The whole home buying process seemed daunting and intimidating but working with them really helped put us ease as we knew we were in good hands with Team Hurst.I highly recommend them to anyone buying a home in Austin and especially to first time home buyers like us.

I had a night and day different experience with these 2 compared to my previous realtor. I highly recommend talking with them whether youre buying or selling. My experience with them is as a buyer, and I will certainly contact them when Im ready to sell.Rachel and Travis are easygoing, low-stress, and a lot of fun to work with. They both know the market in and all around Austin, they are extremely quick to provide comparable properties in the area, and they genuinely share their opinions (unless you dont want them to, but I always did). One of the nice things about their easy-going approach to buying is that they will not pressure you into something you dont like. Their mentality is if it doesnt work out, this one wasnt meant to be, and well keep looking for the right one.They both came to most of my showings, so I was able to get both their perspectives on the property. Rachel does renovations, so she has a great eye to see the potential a room/house/yard has to really make it your own. Travis is fearless- hell pop up in the attic in a heartbeat (where I cant stand to go). Not to mention theyre both very smart and savvy to the ways of loans, finances, you name it. Rachel even went (what I consider) above and beyond and came to the house with her paint color fan decks after we closed to help me pick out colors. Thats a service that you pay the paint store almost $100 for!They made pretty much every aspect of the process very easy to take care of on my end. Here are a few extremely helpful things they did:-- Set up an online property search for me tailored to my specific needs (and updated it promptly when I asked)-- Set up appointments to see a property (sometimes within 30 minutes)-- Managed signed documents electronically (and promptly)-- Came to me for deposit checks instead of making me come to them-- Their availability felt like 24/7 (theyre quick to respond to email, text, and phone calls)-- Provided all sorts of what to expect tips and documents-- Always had a suggestion for any kind of service we might need during the move (mortgage companies, movers, moving supplies, utility setup providers, painters, etc)I can go on and on with more stories of the great service they provide. Again, I highly recommend working with Travis and Rachel- I dont think youll be disappointed.

We can’t recommend Rachel and Travis Hurst enough! We needed to sell a home we had rented for 10 years. We lived 1500 miles away. The home was in sore need of a face lift and much repair of deferred maintenance. I studied the reviews on Zillow to find a couple, yes specifically a couple, who could handle this for us long distance. They were the perfect blend of talent to handle all beautifully. They analyzed all the work that needed to be done and made recommendations for the least expenditure on our part for the greatest return. They found cost effective contractors and oversaw their work. They created a gorgeous modern home from a very worn and dated one. Then they marketed and negotiated an excellent price for us--all the while, we remained in California. They are analytical, creative, communicative and extremely knowledgeable in all things to do with Austin real estate. We look forward to actually meeting them someday when we visit Austin. In the meantime, we are appreciating the extra cash in our bank account. You truly can’t go wrong in calling Travis & Rachel.

We had an excellent experience working with Rachel and Travis on purchasing a condo in Hyde Park, Austin. Throughout the search process, they provided very good information about market comps and local market trends, and they took thorough videos of properties in which we were interested (we were out of town buyers). They were very responsive, often visiting a property on the same day as our request. Support pre/during/post closing were all solid, and it really helps that they have a good sense of humor and empathy. Weve already recommended them to a friend who is moving to Austin and looking to buy a downtown condo.

Rachel and Travis are the best. First of all, they are a team. It is a two for one deal!! Rachel and Travis have complimentary skill sets and they are both constantly one step ahead, even if that means encouraging responsiveness in the other realtor. They are both very personable and although we have only known them for a few months, we see ourselves as remaining lifelong friends. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and ensure our privacy and comfort level during the process. They are still in contact with us on a regular basis when the need arises even a month after we sold our house and they got payed. Not to mention, they were able to negotiate a final sale price on our home $30,000 over what we originally expected. Without question, I highly recommend this dynamic duo!!

We met Rachel & Travis Hurst at an open house and decided we gelled with their personalities enough to hire them as our agents to help us find and buy a house, and were so glad we made that decision. It was our first house, and me being a detail-oriented person anyway, we had questions.. LOTS of questions. Rachel & Travis answered every one of them super-promptly and super-thoroughly and kept us informed through every step of the process about what to expect next, what to do, things to be aware of, things not to worry about, etc. They have a keen eye and an honest opinion, if you want it, about what houses are too much work, what is just cosmetic and can be fixed, etc and will help you with ideas and suggestions about older houses that need work, if that is something youre looking at. Theyre also very understanding and helpful with the emotional aspects of home buying. When we had a mini-panic attack after making our offer, they walked us through it, assured us it was normal, and provided us with lots of data to back up our feeling that it was a great house and a solid investment long-term. We love our house, and couldnt be happier with our decision, both on the house and our realtors. PS: Theyre a lot of fun to boot. Smart, funny, helpful, and most definitely your advocate!

Rachel and Travis beyond meet our expectations. We are first time home buyers and they made it easy as they could for us. It was important for us to have someone help us in every step and then some. They meet us at every showing, they werent pushy they really cared about what we were looking for. Even when things didnt seem like in our favor between the bidding wars they were there to help cheer us up. They answered every text, phone call, email even if it was 10:00pm. When we did put an offer they helped us out with the contract and understanding, complete transparency with them. Theyre funny, nice, EXPERIENCED and Ive already recommended them to family who are planning to move across state. Im extremely happy that we were so lucky to find them.

A great Realtor is one who is not just there for you at closing to buy or sell a house, its someone that provides ongoing value-add to your home and family on an annual basis. When Travis County Appraisal District (TCAD) recently tried to increase the value of my property by 33% over the prior year, I reached out to Travis to help me in the protest process. What I received was a very thorough, well thought out and explained approach and strategy of how to factually dispute/debate the property value assessment. He was very patient in taking his time at not only helping me understand the tools, data and techniques that would be help me in my informal hearing with TCAD, but he also fully explained and described their philosophy and methods of how they approach their appraisal process. Travis provided me a level of insight to the appraisal process that was significantly more transparent and revealing than I had ever received before (and I personally have been in at least 5 property value protests of my own prior to this one). His attention to detail and ability to bring things to my attention that are not in obvious purview really helped me address key points in my property tax dispute with the county. Suffice to say, his assistance was instrumental in rebuffing the counties 33% increase and, in fact, I was able to secure a 0% (YES, ZERO) increase in my property value. Needless to say, I will have annual contact with Travis regarding these, and other issues, related to my property and when Im ready to buy, or sell, my home- I have the utmost confidence in his attention to detail and ability to ferret out risks to me concerning my home. I highly recommend Bella Terranova Group Realty for anyone seeking a highly effective Realtor. Travis is not only excellent at identifying issues for you as a home owner, but confronting them head on in a way that things are not left to chance.

My husband and I were very lucky to come across Travis and Rachel. We were first time home buyers and are now home owners because of them. My husband is overseas and they helped us tremendously answering all of our questions given our situation. I knew they were realtors for us the minute Rachel contacted me, within 5 minutes. She was eating breakfast but still called me! How great is that! She and her husband were on top of everything. Any question we had about the process they answered quickly. They also recommend home inspectors, home insurance, and home warranties as well! Any question we had about the home we wanted they sought out to get the answers from the sellers agent. They were very consistent with their contact with the other agent until the question was answered. I occasionally have questions and they are still and will always be there to answer them for me! They are awesome, very easy to talk to, get in contact with, and understood our situation, which was very important for us! Since our first initial realtor did NOT explain anything to us, or the process of home buying and was very pushy. Travis and Rachel are not that way at all. I could go on and on of how great they are. But to shorten things, I DEFINITELY recommend this couple as your realtors. And will to anyone I know!
