Taylor was knowledgeable and realistic with us while still somehow making the process easy and special. When we finally found the house we didn’t want to live without — he understood and matched our excitement. “I’m going to get this house for y’all,” he said. Not surprisingly there were multiple solid offers within hours of us touring. It’s a heart wrenching process! We were recently looking for a new place for my dad to spend his final years comfortably, but not in a nursing home. He worked hard all his life for the home he owned, but with several handicaps, the house was not easy for him to move around in, and had no central air or heat. The house was built many decades ago. We wanted a realtor that was compassionate and understood both the reason for the move and listen to what we wanted, ie open living area, accessible bathroom and shower among the top wants in a new home. Ben Killian had reached out and after speaking with him and working to both sell my dads house and buy a new one, the process was easy and virtually stress free. Ben actually listened to what we said, found properties that would work and stayed in touch with us throughout the entire process. Whenever we had a question he was quick to respond. We are extremely happy with the service he provided and actually felt like a friend more than our realtor. I highly recommend Sprout Realty and Ben Killian.

He really advocated for us in negotiations and guided us to make the right decisions. He has a fantastic network and connected us with people that got us great rates, good insurance plans, did our inspection and appraisal at reasonable rates, and even helped line up some contractors to make the modifications we wanted to our house. He was extremely responsive and always willing to help. We actually toured the house, got pre-approved, and got our offer accepted the same day (after hours on a Friday). Cody Cooper and Sprout Realty did a superstellar job in the buyers agent role for us in Houston and my husband and I couldnt be more pleased. Cody is a quick thinker on his feet and this, coupled with his extensive knowledge base in the realty business, made him an invaluable leader in a competitive market where he was able to think several steps ahead in the process and move quickly to give us the timing edge we needed to secure the house that we wanted. He negotiated a substantial price drop, prepared the contract for us after hours so that we would be ready to submit it at just the right moment to maximize our option period, and suggested a barter arrangement between us and the seller to even out the price and keep both sides happy. Cody is great at reading people and knowing when to push forward or pull back and at helping us choose our battles to focus on the things that matter when it was all just moving too fast and really hard to get a handle from an overall perspective. This was particularly true when the huge volume of buyers paperwork started to flood in alongside a 42 page inspection report that Cody helped us review and decide which repairs were critical. Throughout the buying process, I was impressed with his patience in walking me through all the paperwork to ensure that I understood it and totally grateful for his 24/7 availability to answer questions and follow-up on any pending issues/items; Cody is well-connected and has a network of housing-related businesses at the ready to help with everything from lending / financing to foundation work and landscaping --- our experience with Sprout Realty was full-service, which simplified things greatly and allowed us to comfortably field a much shorter option period. His Transaction Coordinator [Lindsey] scheduled all the inspection appointments, ordered our home warranty, and managed all the logistics for our new home in preparation for move-in. As our buyers agent, I felt like we were in great hands from start to finish and that I could trust Cody completely to have every front covered, which took a lot of the stress off from the buying process. He is truly willing to dedicate his all and this allowed us to close early on a house that we absolutely loved.

I have nothing but praise for Meghan Elizabeth and could not recommend her more strongly.My friend and I were looking to *rent* a house, not even a prospective sale, on a serious time crunch, and with specific criteria in mind (distance from downtown, price, features of the property, etc.) and after many failed attempts, we came across Meghan and she was without exaggeration the saving grace of this whole process and I only wish we found her sooner. She looked at properties relentlessly with my friend (I was not in town at the time, leaning on him to do the in-person research), was always professional and communicative, and even followed up to make sure we got settled in. I was a first time home buyer and was referred to Sprout Realty and Cody Cooper by a friend who used him last year. I reached out on a weeknight at 7pm and he immediately reached out and we talked for 30 minute that night about what we were looking for. After a few days of actively finding houses we wanted to see online, we decided to put the search on hold. A few weeks later, we saw a house on Zillow we were really interested in and wanted to check out. We texted Cody at 8am, he showed us the house at 10am, it was already a multiple offer situation, and the seller was going to choose an offer at 1pm. We had our offer in by 12pm and found out we had the house at 3pm!! It was SO FAST! Cody knows a lot of people in the industry which also helps with the quick turnaround times.
