Tracie Dillon guided us through our first homebuying experience with kindness, patience, and competence. We had restrictions on budget and timing, and Tracie never tried to push us out of our comfort zones. When we found a home we loved, she advised us on the amount and other details of our offer, which was quickly accepted!That’s when things got complicated and Tracie’s skills shined all the brighter. The home we purchased was owned by Zillow, just as Zillow’s home-flipping business was collapsing. Our mortgage company was Better, just days before the CEO fired 900 employees.Our attempts at trying to facilitate communications between the two companies was exhausting.Better demanded a specific document, which Zillow said they would not provide. We tried communicating with both sides, but nothing worked until we CC’d Tracie on one of the emails. She quickly stepped in on our behalf and managed to get two automation-loving tech start-ups to recognize that a manual exception was needed. We had already invested thousands into the homebuying process and our transaction would have been compromised if not for Tracie coming to the rescue.She provided sound advice and guidance throughout the process. We even went with her recommendations on home inspector and mover, both of which were great.We closed just over a month ago and couldn’t be more grateful for Tracie’s help in getting us home. When it comes time to move to a new home, we’ll be calling Tracie!
