Working with Christie Bevel to buy my very first home was a wonderful experience. House went on the market Friday evening, viewed it on Saturday, and made an offer and had it accepted on Sunday. Even when things looked hairy during the inspection process, Christie worked with me and the seller to ensure I got a great deal and kept me from falling apart. I no longer live in the Shreveport area and when a family member passed away last year, I was referred to Andy for help in selling the house which had been neglected for years. Hi. My name is Marilyn, and this is my testimonial: After having left the Shreveport-Bossier area over 20 years ago for employment, I began to look for a home in Shreveport to be closer to my parents. I reached out to two area realtors who contacted me “once,” and then failed to provide follow-up. I saw Christie Bevel advertised as a realtor on the internet and decided to reach out. “That same day” she contacted me. I provided her a description of the basics that I wanted in a home, and she took it and ran with it. She sent various listings, provided her honest opinion about each one, and did not try to pressure me into a purchase.On February 2nd, 2024, Christie contacted me about a home… by February 27th, I owned it! She aided me, literally, through each step of the process, but her help did not end there. There were some upgrades that I wanted, and furniture. I asked her about doing interior design for me because when I moved, I wanted the basic fixtures to already be in place. She traveled all over Shreveport to find the furniture I wanted, sent pictures to me, and assisted me with furniture acquisition and delivery! When I arrived, I didn’t have transportation as my car was being shipped. She drove me several places (e.g., hardware store, home remodeling store) to pick out things I needed.
