    The time came to move my stepdad out of the home he and my mom owned as she had passed away and it was too much for him to manage. Once we got in and started moving stuff, we learned there was a leak in the chimney and toxic mold was in the home. There were so many repairs on top of this that needed to be done too. I knew the only way to sell was going to be to an investor. I was so impressed with Alex when we first met. I remember about 20 minutes into our meeting he gave me an estimate of what he could pay but then asked what we really needed to make. Part of me thought this was a set up for a lower offer but I told him anyway. Turns out he gave us more than the minimum we wanted! His team is amazing! Bernice was on top of everything. They contacted me every other week or so when they needed a signature or additional information and I got it to them. Before I knew it, it was time to go to closing. They even came to me when my signature was needed with a notary. And they handled the probate on my moms will which would have cost us with her attorney. I cannot give them enough praise. Really good and honest people. Thank you!!

    My situation originally seemed cut and dry, but then CoVid, and other hurdles just kept arising.The team never gave up. From Israels we can help you starting point to the triumphant end.Bernice has great determination which she showed as she pushed through the many obstacles. The woman is a force. Shes professional, shows kindness, and seems fair. I have every confidence in her.There was never a time when I felt out of the loop, all the communication was prompt, consistent, professional, friendly.When Israel reached out, he took so much time helping me understand the nuances of my situation. He was quick to get things moving, helpful, and respectful; plus confident and friendly with my neighbors. :)Often, I felt like the investors I spoke with were distant and had a predatory slant, but I felt Israel had conviction in his earnestness to help me, as much as to purchase the property. He was patient and specific. There was no fluff speak or haggling, he was clear and honest with me.Everyone I spoke with was like that, honest, patient, and transparent.I put a high value on customer service and I found them to be more than that. Not just the above and beyond that you hear of, but making me a part of the team.As I live in a different state, everything had to be done remotely from start to finish and it went seamlessly. With the issues and frustrations, it could easily have become unpleasant but their intentional effort to keep positive and work together kept the process upbeat and moving forward.I really cant say enough about how they helped me.     Had the opportunity to recently sell our Condo in Houston to Mr. Deeds Buys Homes. We had the good fortune to work with some great staff, specifically with Israel Guerrero and Bernice Cedillo. To say that they are both very professional and very responsive is understated, as they both are highly professional and responsive, but coupled with a gift of a “customer service oriented attitude.”Both communicated frequently every detail of the purchase and let us know where we were in the process from the purchase offer, to the title company’s work, to the status of deed review, to the financial details, and on and on. It made the total process seamless and most enjoyable. They treated us like family and made us feel like we had known each other forever.We highly recommend the Mr. Deeds Buys Homes in general, and specifically, Israel Guerrero and Bernice Cedillo.
