My daughters late father left her his house which needed a bit of rehab. Mike and I communicated for several months before my daughter and I were ready to put it on the market, and he was very patient waiting for us to make the decision. There had been prior interest in the house before listing, but he was able to get her significantly more than any other offer. He is very knowledgeable, responsive, and goes beyond treating the process as just a transaction. We highly recommend Mike!

I cannot recommend Mike Farish highly enough! He came recommended by my probate attorney, and I’m so grateful for the connection. I had a unique and emotionally challenging situation, and Mike more than exceeded my expectations. Despite being states apart, he immediately hit the ground running, going above and beyond to make the process as smooth as possible. Mike recommended trusted vendors, took multiple photos and videos of the property, and checked on it regularly. He even assisted with locksmiths when I couldn’t be there and went as far as cleaning up the yard himself. His level of commitment and care, combined with his consistent availability, made a difficult situation much easier. Anyone would be lucky to have Mike representing them!

As a busy single mom, I appreciate the extra care and ‘hand-holding’ Mike provides when I’ve got so much on my plate. The home I just sold with him was particularly tough because the foundation had problems. He worked with vendors and advocated on my behalf on multiple occasions. In addition, to explaining process differences, he helped us understand cultural differences which helped our acclimation process to a new environment.As we didn’t know whether we wanted an existing or to-be-built home, he provided valuable information on the pros and cons of both, also providing excellent information on the PID and MUD impacts that could affect whether or not a home would be affordable. Having the access to Mike that we did, knowing he would provide straightforward answers, or find the person who could, if he couldn’t was a confidence booster as we knew he was always going to be transparent with us.An additional benefit with Mike’s local experience was access to all the contacts he has made over the years with various service providers/contractors. My husband and I werent super familiar with the area and expected the house hunt to take at least 6 months. We let Mike know our must-haves, and it was a long list, but Mike found us the perfect house in TWO DAYS!! I dont know how he did it! It was a new-build so we would go see it weekly and Mike answered all of our questions. He definitely isnt one of those realtors that disappear as soon as you go under contract and reappear at closing to get their cut, he was involved every step of the way! We even had a minor tile issue that I wasnt sure if they could even fix and Mike had us a meeting scheduled with our build the next day. I got to the meeting two minutes late, walked in, and Mike and the builder already had a plan to get it fixed! We also had a great builder, thanks to Mike showing us the perfect neighborhood!Ive given all of my friends his name and number but still cant recommend him enough! There really arent enough stars here to describe our experience with Mike. He had excellent advice on listing price and timing of sale, handling selling our first home and buying the next with a complicated financing situation, amenities/features to look for, negotiating repairs, the list goes on. Honestly if you think youre going to save money by using a computerized or app based service, youd be better off rolling the window down and tossing out $50k in cash. Mike listed our house about $30k more than I thought we would be able to list, and we sold right at asking. Our home we purchased was such a steal that were already ahead with tens of thousands in instant equity, thanks to Mikes help and guidance. Mike had to travel out of town for a family emergency while we were showing our house, but he was still available the entire time. Highly recommend.
