I have been living in Austin for 15 years and it has been my dream to own a home here. The way that prices have increased I never thought it would be possible, but Kim assured me it was and that we just needed to know where to look and what to look for. She helped us throughout the entire process, and we ended up with a great sale price ($20k under asking!) in the neighborhood we wanted to live in - plus the buyers helped with closing costs and we got a 1% rate buy down on our loan. Can I give more stars?? Sam and his Team were the absolute best to work with. To paint a picture we had a plan to move in a year and ended up buying a property or diving into it 2 months after visiting and falling in love with the city of Austin. Planning a move from Ca to Tx and moving the family, planing school changes and job changes can all be stressful and scary. First off, most people don’t read the full reviews so if you don’t get past this first sentence just know, Mike and his team are the best group you could work with and you will form a life long relationship/friendship with him. We bought and sold the same home with him and due to his advice of when/where to buy and what to update, we sold our house for 21% more than we bought it for and had 12 offers after being on the market for 3 days.The entire Landy Frost Group is amazing; the communication and thoroughness is unparalleled. But this review will focus mostly on Mike Frost as he was our agent prior to their group coming together and has always been our main point of contact.Mike was referred to us by another agent who was out of town when we first wanted to see a home. At the time, we lived across the country and each time there was a house we were strongly interested in, Mike would drive there and FaceTime us through the house, so we could decide if it was worth flying out for. And we were not looking at expensive houses, that is just the type of agent he is, willing to go way out of his way for any client.In the two years between buying that first house and selling it, I probably called Mike 30+ times asking advice on everything, and every time he took the time to gave great advice. Since selling that house and moving out of state, Mike still makes times for calls and to help give me advice for purchasing a home he is not part of.What I value most about Mike is his knowledge, experience about ability to negotiate. He helped us buy a home, fought for us to drive down the price and got it under asking, gave us advice on what to update in our home, and then went above and beyond with his plan to help sell it. In the first 3 days, we had over 30 private showing, over 35 groups come to the 1 day open house, and had 12 offers by day 3. We closed on one $29k over asking and for 21% higher than what we bought the house for 25 months prior.

My family had the pleasure of buying our first home with Tiffany Gonzales and Tim Landy. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a home. Tiffany and Tim were very knowledgeable about the market and buying a home. The first time we met they presented great information on the market and everything I would need to know to buy a home. They then listened to what our interests were to ensure we didnt waste time looking at homes that wouldnt fit our needs and desires. As first time homebuyers with a budget that is much less than average area sales price, finding the right home for our family was a challenge. However, Tiffany and Tim were up to the challenge. They always ensured they were available to take our calls, to suggest a home that just came on the market, or go to see a house. As we dragged Tiffany(willingly ) to see many different houses Tiffany became a friend, and she was rooting for us to get the right house just as much as we were. Tim and Tiffany truly are trustworthy realtors. There was a point during the process when we were tired of looking at homes and being disappointed and said lets put in an offer on this one. However, Tiffany and Tim could tell we werent as excited by it as we should be and it hadnt checked all of the boxes we had originally discussed as wanting in a house. Tiffany and Tim called me to have an honest conversation, and they said if you really want this house we have no problem putting in an offer, but do you really want this house or is it just buyers exhaustion. I really appreciate their honesty and their desire to find the right house for us in that moment because they were correct it was buyer exhaustion. So we kept looking, and found a much better house for us that fits all of our needs! Also, the little congratulations gift basket and cookies were such sweet touches and showed how much they care!

Tim did an outstanding job helping us find the perfect home. This was our first time purchasing, so we were very nervous. Tim made the search process easy through the online search folder in which he dropped in houses that were along the lines of what we were looking for. This tool also allowed us to communicate what we liked and what we did not. Once it came time to look at the houses, Tim put together a list of homes we had starred and took us to look at them. Not once did Tim push, trying to make us purchase which I absolutely loved because we were nervous as it was. Tim talked us through each house listening to what we liked and did not like. Once we found our perfect home, Tim made the purchasing process simple. I did not have to take off work to do any of this. Tim arranged everything so that it was an easy, stress free process.

My husband and I bought our first home with the help of Tim Landy, who was recommended to us by a friend and coworker of my husbands. Tim went ABOVE and BEYOND for us every step of the way. He showed us a dozen or so houses, even taking time to do so on the weekends, or whenever was convenient for us. There were a few times that we had limited time to see a house before they would stop taking offers, so Tim would even drive out to meet us on short notice. We were working with Tim at the start of the pandemic, so he even thought to bring masks and gloves for us during the open houses before that became standard practice.Kaillie was great too-- she kept us on track for all the paperwork and deadlines. I loved that she kept reminding us when it became urgent that we sign something, remit payment, secure insurance, do a rekey, etc.Beyond helping us find a home, Tim and Kaillie also made arrangements for us to close on the house remotely (we were in Florida when we closed on a house in Austin) by sending someone out to us to get the contract notarized. They also helped arrange an inspector and gave us referrals for a contractor and an interior designer.Alyssa Rome was the interior designer, by the way. She offers a walk-through special where you can ask for suggestions all throughout the house during a minimum hour-long session. I took notes, followed her advice, and our home looks completely transformed!All this to say, my family and I highly recommend the Landy Frost
