Janis was the absolute best partner my husband and I could have hoped for when choosing a realtor to sell our house last spring. Shes both personal and professional and her years of experience in our area gave her unprecedented insight into the market. She was thoroughly engaged from day one, and was first and foremost interested in OUR wants and needs so she could tailor her strategies to meet them. Our home was a unique historic property and Janiss experience was crucial in marketing it properly. She did extensive research and met with a number of industry professionals to calculate our listing price and provided us with a list of amazing contractors to help us get our house ready to go on the market. She never pressured us to make difficult decisions but instead helped us talk through our options and realities until we were comfortable moving forward. I cant say enough good things about Serene and the entire team that helped us through the selling of our existing home, and purchase of new home. Serenes rolodex of vendors (plumbers, painters, etc.) saved us multiple times. Her ability to negotiate on our behalf, and steady our nerves things when it looked rough were amazing. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Serene to family and friends, and shell be our first call the next time we want to purchase the next property.

Its hard to find words to express just how amazing our experience was when we chose Janis Penick to list our home for sale. Wed heard of her amazing reputation, and after her first visit there was no doubt she was the one. We knew it would be a tricky sale--the heat was off the market and its a unique property that would be difficult to find comps for. But between her many community and industry connections and a ton of homework on her part, the listing price she suggested was spot-on. She proactively steered interested parties our way, and we received an excellent offer in no time. Then she guided us masterfully and stress-free through all the steps that follow. For repairs that were needed, she provided us with exceptional referrals that performed the work quickly and cost-effectively. She even hooked us up with a rental agent who found us a great next place in Austin on our first visit. Real estate transactions can be unbelievably stressful--unless you have an angel like Janis who swoops in to take all the excess weight off your shoulders.

Sonya is truly a dream realtor, we cannot recommend her enough! This was our first time buying a home and as we came to learn, it is no easy feat. After losing a few offers on homes, we were introduced to Sonya and she immediately took time to learn our needs and wishes for our home as well as where we didnt feel confident in the home buying process. Not only did she immediately find us a listing that met all of our needs within a couple of days of working together, but she also coordinated a showing right away and helped us create our winning offer all within the same weekend. There are so many things outside of finding/winning a home that we didnt understand and Sonya did not desert us at any stage of the process or after we closed. Greg was really great. The fact that we asked him to sell that property for us 8 years after he was our agent in finding the property speaks to our high regard for his skills and dedication. Having been involved with multiple real estate agents in recent years, Greg stands out from his more junior peers as someone still incredibly focused on super fast communications, deep knowledge of the Texas and Austin markets, rules, and regulations, instant availability, and doing whatever it takes to get a property ready for market. No excuses! Our property needed some work, and Greg was all over it.
