We moved to Woodway from Austin 15 years ago.We didn’t know any realtors so we picked one at random (NOT A KELLY REALTOR).BIG MISTAKE. Our realtor did not pick up the phone, return our calls, coordinate with the seller’s agent, tell us when the closing was, or bother to show up at the closing (sent another person from their office who apparently had not been briefed at all). To get answers, I turned to the seller’s realtor, Sue Milam Reed of Kelly Realtors. Sue answered our questions and assisted us with the purchase of our house even though she was not our agent. Every year since, she has sent a card on the anniversary of our home purchase. When it comes time to sell our home/buy a new home, we will definitely contact Kelly Realtors because of Sue’s kindness and professionalism. -

Jackie Fatten was our choice for a realtor in April, 2023, when we decided to move to Oklahoma. We had used Jackie back in 2010 when we decided to downsize and move closer into Waco. It was a perfect fit buying and selling then so knew we could not go wrong choosing Jackie again. Jackie did everything she could to help us sell quickly. And we did! She is a terrific gal! We cant say enough of how thankful we are and how lucky we chose Ashley Weist as our Realtor. Ashley provided such professional service and patience with our purchase of our home in Waco. We had a home on the west coast fall out of consignment twice and took a lot longer to sell then we anticipated. Ashleys negotiation skills were fantastic. We again are very happy with Ashley and now consider her a friend. -

We are from Arizona and spent a week with Shelby Milam last year looking at houses, but did not find the perfect fit. Then in late July 2021, my wife saw a new listing pop-up on the internet here in Woodway, and loved it. We then called Shelby, as we developed a relationship of trust last year and asked her to do a walk through for us and give us her insight and opinion. After a walk-through, she said it was in the area we liked best last year, built by our contractor of choice, and in the school system we felt would best educate our son.......The long and short of it is, we made the purchase based on Shelbys recommendation and photos only, and couldnt be happier with our purchase. -

Evelyn Love is the best real estate agent in the world and heres why. With my house selling much quicker than expected I was in a jam to find something quick in the crazy Waco real estate market and Evelyn came through like a champ. With about an hours notice she lined up 5 houses to view in my price range. As we viewed them she gave her HONEST opinion. Then she stayed until 6 p. m. to help me get a contract submitted on the home I chose. In a word Evelyn embodies INTEGRITY. Plus she is charming, thoughtful and a heck of a nice person. She is the only Realtor I will ever use. -

Woody Rogers sold us our first house 12 years ago. When it was time to upgrade, we called him again. He found us an amazing deal in a neighborhood we thought was out of our price range, and the best part about him is he will not upsell you - he always has your back. If you tell him your budget is X, he will not allow you to look at houses above that amount. Most realtors want to sell you the most expensive house possible, because they get a higher commission. Not Woody. He dots his is and crossees his ts. Hes always looking around for land mines that might blow up on you and cause you to go over your budget. Hes been a realtor in the Waco area for like 40 years and knows this town better than anyone.He sold our old house in a whopping 2.5 hours at our asking price. You might be asking yourself why we didnt hold out for a better offer and get even more money. Well, back to his experience with the Waco area and being so detailed-oriented. He knew that even if someone offered us more money, the banks wouldnt appraise our house at a higher price and therefore wouldnt offer a loan that big to the buyer. And sure enough, the appraisal came back RIGHT at our asking price. So, we couldnt have gotten a better offer even if we wanted one. It worked out perfectly.One other plus about him - his wife is an interior designer. If youre looking for a small to large fixer-upper type project, she can tag along with him and tell you whats possible and what it might cost. Its like the Property Brothers if you think about it. Great combo and you wonder why more people dont do this. Not every house is move-in ready. -
