Ive worked with Jason three different times -- first during an unsuccessful home search in 2011 (I ended up deciding not to buy at the time), then in 2014 when I bought my first house in Hyde Park, and finally this year when I sold that house. Each time he acted as an expert guide through the whole process: welcoming my questions, presenting all the facts in an unbiased manner so I could make the best decisions, and making himself easily available during all the important moments. When he made strategic recommendations, I could trust that they were grounded in his longtime experience in the Austin real estate market, not self-interest. While nobody can make buying or selling a home easy (especially in Austin!), if you work with Jason you will at least know that you have experience, smarts, and integrity on your side.

Jason deserves way more than five stars. If you are planning to sell your home, engage Jason as your agent. I did a load of research trying to find a good agent. I wound up with three top contenders, and Jason was my pick from those three. I chose wisely. He is very smart and has wisdom gained from a long career in real estate. He is honest, kind, caring, knowledgeable, and is a great communicator. I was extremely fortunate to have found him and to have had him with me on the difficult journey of getting my home ready to sell, and then selling it.

Jason helped me find and purchase my first home in 2014. I was really nervous about this huge decision, but Jason put me at ease from our first meeting, and all the way through to purchasing my home less than a month later. He listened to everything that I wanted, and said okay!. He occasionally made suggestions outside of what I had initially planned for (location, budget, etc), but he never pushed me in any direction I did not want to go. He explained the process in easy terms, and answered the same questions as many times as I needed without making me feel like a dummy. He also recommended the neighborhood that I eventually ended up buying in, and fell in love with.Jason was with me from the first meeting through the closing of the house. He answered every question, text message, and email promptly and politely. If I was looking to buy again, he would be my guy. I cannot say enough good things about him. I am 100% satisfied!Flash forward 10 years: in 2024 Jason helped me to sell the home that he worked with me to purchase as I was moving out of state. The market was not great for sellers, but Jason was both honest and made solid recommendations for how we could best position the house to sell quickly. Just as when I purchased the house, he had easy answers to my questions and gave great advice when solicited. Jason helped us sell our home in the summer of 2021. Our home included some challenges (formica counters, wood paneling) but Jason knew how to present it well. Jason presented a detailed and careful market analysis which helped us choose the right asking price, and so our home sold quickly for above the asking price, unlike some other homes in the neighborhood which had languished even in the hot Austin market. Jason was responsive, patient, optimistic while still being a realist, and he gave us all the information we needed so that we understood what was happening as our sale progressed. Also, he is an incredibly nice person with a good sense of humor!

Scanning other Google reviews, we completely agree with all the positive sentiments and share similar experiences with his other clients. Honestly, I’m a little surprised to see so many recent reviews, because we’ve always felt like we were his only client!We met Jason in 2013 when we were looking for our first house. We were working with another realtor at the time, but we went to a couple of Jason’s open houses that summer, and were so impressed with our brief interactions with him that we sought him out 6 years later.One of the most valuable things Jason helped us with was preparing to sell our home in Crestview. He consulted with us several months before we planned to list so that we would be confident in the renovation investments we were considering. On top of that, his guidance and ownership throughout the timing of everything was steadfast. He was our rock through budgeting, financing, renovation, timeline, strategy, staging, listing, offers, and finally -selling. Jason is the best real estate agent in Allandale (possibly even Texas). Hands down, without a doubt. He is hardworking, kind, trustworthy and very knowledgeable about the real estate market in the area.Jason helped us sell my mothers home on Shoal Creek. Jason is the most patient person ever. It took me ages to find exactly what I was looking for: he never made me feel wrong or rushed and he always made me feel like wed find it eventually. When we did find the right house for me he never stopped answering my questions (even years later). I trust Jason to always know how to answer my questions or point me in the right direction.
