Honesty and objectivity by far were the most important qualities before anything else. We needed someone who knows that their client’s interest comes first. We also needed an agent that is extremely communicative and responsive, but above all else, is someone with integrity. We were fortunate to find that someone like Ivan Cano. We felt that our best interest always came before his personal financial gain. Putting our interest first included being open and direct by providing the information we needed to know, which is more important than information clients may want to hear. Buyers and sellers should look for an agent like Ivan who will guide them through what is real and what is not.His experience is versed in different facets of the transaction, great track record, willing to do beyond what the average agent does and most importantly, available to answer questions and provide the education and moral support that helped reinforce the sale of our home. Ivan was wonderful to work with. He is knowledgeable about El Paso and the various parts of town as well as the builders that are working on the new developments on the east side of town. I came from New Mexico and Ivan was very accommodating to me as a remote buyer. He was always available for showings during the times I was able to visit and did FaceTime showings for me when I couldn’t make it down.
