What can I say about our experience with HMS?!?! I am truly amazed! Bob has made me a believer! He told us they were going to get my family in a new home that we desired and they did just that! We’ve only just moved to Texas a little over a year ago and didn’t dream of owning our first home within the first year. The folks over at HMS know their stuff! Maureen is an experienced sales agent super sweet and extremely helpful through the whole process! Dallas always responded to our emails and kept us in the loop on how the process was going. Doug crunches the numbers helped us get on the right track to close in less time than expected! Now we’re in our very own home, built from the ground up that we helped design from the type of brick, to the floor plan, to the kitchen and bathroom cabinets & counters, wall color, floor decor even the garage door hand picked by us the way we envisioned! Didn’t know the first thing of how important all this was and what all was required and then the pandemic hit but we were determined and continued to stay optimistic. One things for sure if you put in the work they will put in the work and their expertise and know how lead us to homeownership. We truly feel blessed! We had such a lovely experience with HMS. As first time home buyers, we were unsure on where to begin and how to get the process started. We set up an appointment and were warmly greeted by the front staff, Veronica. She was very sweet and accommodating as we waited to be seen by our agent, Anthony.During the initial meeting, Anthony was able to provide an exceptional experience by not only answering all of our questions with sincerity, but he created such a supportive environment for both me and my partner to truly dive into the home buying process feeling much more confident!Anthony took the time to truly get to know what we were looking for in a home. He shared a few options with us, and then set us up with their in house lender, Blair.Blair was extremely thorough in getting the necessary information needed to set up a pre-qualification. He answered all of our questions and even provided a few tips to help us better understand how everything works and is accounted for.Once Blair worked his magic, Anthony was able to get the ball rolling and began setting up appointments to view homes.What I truly enjoyed about Anthony, was his genuine effort in bringing forth possible options when it came to a home. He never rushed or pressured us, in fact, he would always remind us of his 1. Rule, “you gotta love it”. We turned several homes down, until he was able to find the PERFECT home. I had a wonderful experience. My partner and I have been trying to buy a home for years with no luck. Credit has played a part in us not being successful, we visited other Mortgage companies and they would not be uninformative or follow up. We recently went to HMS and they provided us with a detailed map of how they will work to get my credit right to get us in a home by this year. They made it exciting and I cant wait for the next phase with HMS. Jessica, Bob, and Brandon were outstanding.

Our experience with HMS was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. We were in a tight spot, our current lease was terming in 3 weeks as a result of a previous deal falling through. They pulled their dream team together on a Saturday (which is not their typical day to do this) to come up with a game plan to make sure we have a house by the time our lease was over. As anyone knows, applying for a home mortgage can be a very intimidating and frightening experience if the wrong company is chosen. The staff at HMS explain everything in laymans terms, walks you through the process and will answer any questions or concerns you may have. From looking at lots, floor plans, financing, loan applications, etc. They are so awesome to work with! If Im being honest, I really didnt know what to expect when we went into HMS. We thought wed just get a game plan as to how to eventually buy a house. I spoke with Jim Roberts on the phone, and he was very friendly and thorough in setting up our appointment. When we arrived, we were actually helped by Mr. Bless-your-heart himself, Bob Lovell. I was so impressed at how kind and upfront he was about everything and he connected us with an incredibly smart mortgage man (Doug) and our agent (Jessica). Doug had been working so hard on our behalf and was even able to put us in contact with an insurance agent that saved us $1600/YEAR on our insurance policies. Jessica is one of the sweetest people youll ever meet, and she figured us out right away in finding us the perfect floorplan in a brand new house. I cannot believe were moving into a BRAND NEW house! The the kicker to all of this? It has been 10 DAYS SINCE WE FIRST WALKED IN THEIR OFFICE! I highly recommend HMS to everyone, especially renters trying to get out of the rent race, they are amazing. And to think, I almost didnt go to the meeting, and almost resigned another lease. ❤

What drew us to HMS is that they specialize in helping 1st time home buyers and can work with bumps/burses on credit reports.We came to their office on a Wednesday with no expectations. Their staff was very friendly and demonstrated their sense of humor throughout the meeting to keep the mood light during, what can be a very stressful situation (qualifying for a home). They were direct and honest about how they could help us. We met with the owner, Bob, who is hilarious and proud of the business he has built. Our Lender Doug; a straight shooter and miracle worker. Last but not least - Megan, our fabulous realtor!By that Saturday (3 days later) we were shopping for houses.... The week after, we purchased A BRAND NEW DR Horton HOME! Ok so let me explain how amazing HMS is, my fiancé didn’t even think we could get into a home much less the beautiful new construction home we have now. Maureen Cappallo is absolutely amazing! she helped explain everything to us, how a mortgage works and what’s included in your monthly payment and how the buying process works. our lender actually worked with maureen and he got us an amazing deal with a good interest rate. The builder was trying to push us to close by march 31st instead of april 2nd and Bob called me letting me know what was going on and how he was going to handle it. HMS got us into our dream home and took care of everything. They’re customer service is incredible, they do what is best for their clients and truly went above and beyond for us. I will definitely recommend HMS to everyone. even if you think there is no way you can afford a home or your credit isn’t that great, just go talk to them and they will help you to prepare for buying a home!

Signed up in September of 2014. They helped raise both me and my wifes credit 100 points by March 2015. We followed their strict directions on handling our finances. They handled all the clean up. They were amazing. Picked Bloomfield as our builder and put down earnest money in the last day of March of 2015. After permits cleared, we broke ground in May. CLOSED IN NOVEMBER! It was an awesome experience. They have a relationship with the builders like no other. We were getting all kinds of things thrown in for nothing even after the building process already started. Things we wanted to change. The finance part was done by Builders Financial, Raeanne Hagin. Again, top notched service. This woman made the process easier than I could ever imagine. I would gladly send more business to her. Maria, and Ethel were awesome to deal with at HMS also. I have no idea how people could have a bad experience with them. They got us in our brand new home.

I purchased a home through HMS and had a great experience!! The only thing I can say annoyed me was the 1st realtor I was assigned to didnt know anything and made many assumptions before asking me any questions. He figured he wasnt going to make much money off of me so he passed me to another realtor. That was his mistake and the new realtors gold.I pretty much already knew what I was looking for so there wasnt much hassle or going back and forth. I searched for new construction in the areas that I wanted and I let my realtor know what areas I was looking at. He called and got all the information for me and called me back immediately afterwards and gave me all the information I needed in order to narrow down my search. I dont remember the name of my realtor but he was GREAT! He came with me and my sister (who also bought a house) to talk to the sales people at the community we chose and he let us know what we needed to include in our house and what we could by cheaper at Lowes or Homedepot or through another contractor. He was VERY Helpful and Honest! He held our hand through the hole process.The loan officer BLAIR was perfect! He made sure everything was in order and done as soon as possible. I was due the week after closing and the builder took a little longer on my home but Blair rushed everything and made sure I was in my new home before I has to deliver my baby. I was able to bring my baby home to her new home directly from the hospital. I have had other questions for Blair since I have moved in and he is always willing to help and will make sure the matter is handled. As long as you get your information to them, whatever they are asking for that they need, in a timely manner then your process should go smoothly.I didnt need credit repair so I dont know what that is like working with them but Blair was very clear about what I needed to do, what explanation I was going to need to provide the underwriter, what I needed to pay off or not pay off, etc. He was awesome!!.As for the original realtor that passed me off because he thought he wasnt going to make much money off of me (confirmed by the realtor I was given when I asked him the details), I bought my house for $25K more than what I was originally approved for AND I brought my sister in on the deal who bought a house at the same time I did, used the same people I was using so there were no issues and she bought a house bigger than mine and more expensive. Never judge before you even open your mouth to talk to someone and understand the situation. The original guy looked at me as a recent undergraduate with a lot of debt, no cash, and bad credit........Well he was wrong!

This was by FAR, the best decision I made to call them. I’m always clicking on ads for home mortgages and when I get to the contact me page... I chicken out because I hate to be on the phone when I can’t pass the qualification phase.I don’t know what made me want to put my information in, something in my heart told me. Terri, just try it!! So I did. I put my name and number. About two hours later I got a phone call from Jim. He didn’t bombard me with bull****.He was a normal person, asking me questions that might disqualify me. Nothing crazy, just like bankrupt, owe taxes, things of that sort. All answers were no. He scheduled us an appt THAT same day. We took in all the info they requested and no later than an hour of getting there. We had a smile on our face!!THIS COMPANY IS FOR REAL PEOPLE WITH A REAL LIFE! I’ve seen a few homes bought and it is complicated! These guys make it easy! Everything you need under ONE roof! We were approved and ready to rock and roll! Wanna build a home? Want a pre existing one? Do you just want a home of your own?!??! Come here! They really do help! I can’t be thankful enough!
