How can you quantify the amount of appreciation of someone helping you find your dream home in your dream location REMOTELY?!I reached out knowing we would be relocating to Austin, even though we wouldnt be able to look in person yet.Using their portal to search was not only time saving but I was able to create lists and search areas that we would consider living in.For days after arriving in Austin we went to go look at our top 5 homes.Not only was the organization and follow through unlike I had EVER experienced in searching for a place but their commitment to finding YOUR HOME was so clear.After walking into our 2nd home of 5 on the list we knew it was it. We were concerned about a past bankruptcy getting in the way of getting the home but they helped us prepare all the paper work necessary and we were approved!Not ONLY that they worked to get us a NEW fridge AND a faster move in date. As first-time home buyers, we could not have asked for a better realtor than Alyse Black. From the very beginning when we were not even 100% sure what we wanted yet in a house, she was full of suggestions, knowledge, and asked pointed questions to help us narrow down our choices. She is the perfect mix of optimistic and realistic that you need when going through the steps of looking at homes, putting down offers, and deciding what to do next. Being in the middle of a pandemic, we still felt very safe and comfortable working with Alyse and her team. They set up well-timed showings and followed all necessary precautions of masking, hand sanitizing, and even carrying little disposable wipes for while inside houses. The day we saw the house we ended up purchasing, Alyse was down to business as soon as we said we loved it. We had the offer accepted that night! What sold me on hiring the Heart of Austin Homes Team is that they have a background in real estate development and buying/selling properties, which I knew would prove useful. I am super-duper picky and have a laundry list of non-negotiables. In this demanding market, it is crucially important to select a team that understands the market and the specific area you want to live in. I have hired and fired a realtor in the past. Alyse and her team are keepers and truly understand real estate. Alyses communication is above AMAZING and she will make herself available to you 99.9% of the time. It also helps that Alyse is extremely networked and knows a bunch of industry professionals including inspectors and loan agents that make themselves available to her for a timely closing. John is an honest guy and LOVES to nerd out on all things real estate - very knowledgeable. He also has experience in real estate investing and syndications. Cant say enough about these two!

After reaching out she immediately put me in touch with Kate Rogers who setup a discovery call less than 1 day after I contacted them.I could not recommend Kate more for first time home buyers, she was by our side the whole time and had an immense patience to cover every single aspect we didnt know about.Once we decided we would go for a new build she was supportive and helped us make the best decision.During the build process she was our eyes and ears with the builder and if it was not for her the whole process would have taken me so much more time and energy.All in all, Kate was amazing and I know I will never need to look for a Real Estate agent again in Austin. Look, I know a lot of realtors. I mean A LOT of realtors. But I decided to go with Alyse for a few reasons. First, she and her husband, John are adorable, awesome folks. Period. Second, I wasnt sure what direction I was going to take in this crazy Austin market. Was i going to buy new? Build? Renovate? Huh? But Alyse has in-depth experience with all those aspects. Ive followed her business for quite some time and have seen first-hand how she has guided clients successfully though each and every one of those scenarios. The third reason? Connections. I have looked at house after house and watched as they all bid way over asking and out of my price range. But do you know what Alyse did? She put her nose to the pavement....started asking all the right questions to all the right folks (ie those connections mentioned above).....and found me an off-market listing in one of my favorite neighborhoods at a price that actually made sense. Everything about the process has been professional, prompt, easy, and fun! Now that Im under contract with this new home, Alyse has taken the reins of lining up contractors for my upcoming renovation and remodel! I honestly would not even know where to start with this process if on my own. Honestly, yall....why hire just a realtor, when theres someone out there whos so much more? They offer so much more.I had to move out of town to change jobs with less than a months notice, and between finishing my job, starting a new one, finding a new place to live in another city, and actually moving, I was truly overwhelmed. John and Alyse came in and and provided me multiple options. I chose to hand my keys over to them and let them do what they felt was best to get the top dollar for my house.They worked as contractor, designer, real estate agent, and hand-holder (for me). They had the house cleaned out, put new flooring in, new counter tops, painted, etc. they had the place cleaned, staged, and professionally photographed. Most importantly, they kept me well informed throughout the entire process and made sure to get my approval at each step. They even put up with my overly stressed temperament with such ease and poise. As with all things there were unexpected occurrences along the way, and they easily adapted and made things right.When it came time to sell, John suggested listing below what I was thinking, but I trusted his judgement and it paid off in spades. The house sold for well above what my expected high-end was. I couldn’t have been more pleased.From start to finish, John and Alyse were professional, organized, thoughtful, friendly, knowledgeable, and effective. We absolutely loved working with Kate. We were buying from out of state in a VERY tough 2021 market. She truly went above and beyond to get us into a great neighborhood in Austin. Alyse is literally the best agent you can have. She goes above and beyond on all aspects of selling a house. She recommended an excellent handyman for some simple upgrades, used an amazing photographer that made our house look fantastic, and held my hand every step of the way. The amount of money she got for our house was unthinkable. I still dont know how she did it (especially with the COVID craziness going on)! She is superwoman.
