Wade and I grew up together and as kids we opened up a small baseball card shop in the backroom of my father’s restaurant. We didn’t close a lot of deals back in those days. Liittle did I know back then that Wade would close the biggest deal of all for the restaurant and my family. I called Wade a few months back and asked if he would be our realtor and help my mom and dad sell their business, which they had run for over 42 years. We knew we had a unique property that had its own advantages and challenges with no real comps to fall back on. Knowing all of this and my parents’ great desire to enter into a life of well-earned retirement, Wade set out to find us a buyer. Our hope was to be able to sell by Thanksgiving – an aggressive goal considering the unique property. Wade delivered two weeks early. The care that Wade gave to my parents along the way was personal and relentless. Though Wade and I have been friends for many years, I know he and his team extend this same kind of care and tenacity to all of their clients. Wade, I can’t thank you enough for all that you did for our family. The next time I need to buy or sell real estate you will be my first call!

Wade Funk is outstanding! I say this, because quite honestly, he is the sole reason we have the amazing building we have today. Before we met Wade, we were in the middle of a property purchase that was quickly going sideways. At the time, we were not getting ANY communication from the seller (despite months of engagement) and we were very close to walking away from a property we very much desired to purchase. At the advice of another business owner, I called Wade. From my first conversation with Wade, I immediately felt hope. He directly answered my calls, followed up on everything he said he would do and wasn’t afraid to escalate things with the seller in order to get a response. Wade was relentless in exploring all possibilities and ensuring that we remained informed of each step he was taking to re-engage the sellers. He completely salvaged our property deal (we’ve now been happily in our new building for 5 months) and saved us money along the way. He knows his stuff and he strikes a great balance between professionalism and being personable (something I haven’t always felt with other realtors). I highly recommend Wade! It is so nice to work with someone that truly has your back (and stays transparent and communicative throughout the process). Call him, you won’t regret it, he is an asset!

I cannot say enough good things about Wade and the Funk Group. We were looking for a very specific type of commercial property in Leander, and ran into a ton of roadblocks. Wade worked with us every step of the way, and when I say he went above and beyond, I mean it. He represented us extremely well in negotiations with multiple property owners, and we ended up leasing a building that met all of our needs. We will absolutely choose Wade and the Funk Group again in the future when we need Real Estate help.

I initially called Wade because I saw he had good reviews. I told Wade I only needed his services to get the property rented and I would perform the property Management services myself. Wade didnt even question my request. I have worked with many real estate agents in the Austin area and they All relentlessly pressured me about managing my properties so I knew he was different from the start. We met at the property and he was extremely helpful and let me know what needed to be done prior to renting as well as the best price we could get.When another opportunity arose for me, I decided to sell and Wade was ready to pivot and we were in contract with a buyer within a couple days. There were several issues along the way and Wade was calm, responsive, proactive, and really showed he cared. I am very glad I chose to work with Wade as he made this process as simple for me as it could have possibly been. Wade is awesome and I would recommend him for property management and real estate buying and selling.

We relocated recently and were looking for a realtor to help us find a place to live. My husband found Funk Group by searching on-line and gave him a call. We were in Austin for about a week, right between Christmas and New Years and had limited time to get to know the areas and find that perfect place. And Wade helped us do that exactly!He showed us a variety of places, based on the info and budget we gave him. He was very accessible, knowledgeable and thorough and right away we knew we could trust him. He made great recommendations and was super patient while we were debating whether we wanted a certain area or a certain type of home.In less than a week, we found a perfect place that we love! Wade and his team are simply amazing. My wife and I were relocating to Austin from out of state and Wade was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in finding a negotiating a property for us. With all this happening between a large distance, Wade was always available and communicative and really went above and beyond, making what could have been a very stressful move into a pretty relaxed (as much as a cross state move can be) experience. He even was at the house when we pulled up to hand over the keys and an ice cold bottle of Tequila as a welcome home gift! Simply put, Wade and The Funk Group team are awesome and whether you are considering a move across states or across town, you couldnt be in better hands.
