John has been my realtor for 25 years, through 4 transactions and a couple of major life changes. The last one was a home sale as I had moved out of state. The remote issues that John and his assistant Michele handled for me were invaluable to making this move less painful. I cannot say enough good about what John and Michele have done for me. I would highly recommend them for hands on, personal attention and care.

I was the Loan Officer for the buyer where John represented the seller on a contract that he and the buyer’s agent put together over the NYE holiday weekend. He was highly professional and responsive. It is always important that all parties are on the same page about the financing, and he asked the right questions that are important to insuring a smooth closing. Its not a given that the sellers agent will be open to conversations with the lender, but John was friendly and always available when we had updates to give. I hope more of our clients submit offers on his listing so we can partner again.

A few months back, a For Sale billboard popped up on one of my neighbor’s front lawns. Not a puny sign. A billboard with some really nice-looking interior photos of his house. So nice, I almost wanted to buy his house. He sold his house shortly thereafter. My interest was piqued. He told me about John Stapleton.Some months pass. My wife and I decide its time to sell our home, so we call John. John stops by one afternoon. Two and a half hours later we had some terrific insights into the housing market, photography, art, painting (John is a bit of a renaissance man with a great sense of humor) and a formidable to-do list of things that John suggested in order to get our home ready for market. When we got a little closer to the bottom of the to-do list, we set a “listing” date and continued to chip away. John stopped by on the Friday afternoon that the listing would hit the MLS and told us we were ready. He also told us that he would be erecting our very own billboard, with some of his interior photos of the house up in the front yard. It looked awesome. I wanted to buy my house.Now, your mileage may vary on this but, the folks from the first appointment to see the house on that Saturday morning made an offer. We followed John’s suggestions and we were ready. Of course, there was back-and-forth, twists-and-turns and some “oh no” moments, but every time we hit a bump in the road, John managed to smooth it over while maintaining an even keel and a positive spin. His advice and negotiation savvy led a couple of stressed-out sellers down the path to a sale. The Godfather could not have had a better Consigliere.Back at the office, John’s Transaction Coordinator, Michelle Iannacone, kept us in the (up to the minute) loop as to what was happening on the less glamorous but totally necessary document and procedural side of things. It was great to get hot, off the press tidbits from Michelle about how things were going behind the scenes.We certainly never could have predicted the favorable outcome (in an unfavorable market) that we experienced with Focus Realty, but when we met John, both my wife and I had a really good feeling. He listened to every word and was genuinely interested in helping us achieve our goals.We can’t speak highly enough of John, Michelle and the little thing he calls Focus Realty. We would enlist their help again in a heartbeat, except that we’re moving to Portugal. If you are not moving to Portugal, you should consider Focus first.

My husband and I cant say enough about John. He is has gone above and beyond our expectations. I was referred to John by a friend and even though she said he was the best, I could never had imagined how right she was! He really takes the time to get to know you and your needs and on top of it all. As if no other client matters. He spent an hour with me and my husband and the next day the second house he showed us was our dream home. I believe because he listened and then took action. He worked with us and the listing agent to ensure all parties would be happy and he never gave up. We want anyone reading this to know that, John has great morals, positive attitude, constant communication, diligence and passion to make whatever it is happen. Thank you!
