Exceptional work! Jennifer and Tod went above and beyond to attend to our needs and wants! We are first-time home buyers, and Jennifer and Tod made us feel (1) comfortable and welcomed during the entire process and (2) confident about our choices. Big shout out to Tod, he was extremely patient with us and always asked great questions to builders, landlords, lenders, and other third parties to make sure that we understood everything and got exactly what we needed and wanted. Thanks to Tods expertise and experience, we were able to purchase a house with one extra bedroom and plenty additional upgrades and features that will save us money and headache in the future. Jennifer and Tod stand out from other realtors because the former focus on their clients long-term goals while many of the latter dont. Not only are Jennifer and her team in the realty profession, but also they are certainly in the business of building long-term relationship. Jennifer truly goes above and beyond for her clients. We sold our townhome in Garden Oaks as part of a corporate relocation for my job - overseas. Selling a house is stressful enough, but add in the uncertainty of when we were going to get our visas and actually move - it was even more stressful - but Jennifer put us at ease. Jennifer guided us every step of the way and was patient with us as we worked through ever-changing timelines for our move. Before we listed, she educated us on the neighborhood and even took us to look at other properties so that we could list our home knowledgeably. From providing tips on staging our home so that it would look its best, to stopping by ahead of the open house to make sure everything was in order, Jennifer’s attention to detail and genuine care for her clients is unmatched. In the end, we had several competitive offers on the table within 36 hours of the open house. My husband and I cannot recommend Jennifer enough for anyone buying or selling in the Houston area. She is friendly, knowledgeable, organized and professional.

Jennifer and her team worked with us for 2 years to help us through the process of planning and finally buying our house. Jennifer encouraged s to stay focused on higher-priority goals until we felt that it was the right time. She never once pressured us to buy. Jennifer is seasoned in life and genuinely has our best interests at heart. We expressed interest in a much higher price home but she convinced us that it was not in our best interest to pursue it. She was protecting our interests and treated us as family. After we pinpointed a property that we really liked, she and her team quickly pursued the property with great attention to detail negotiating aggressively on our behalf. Throughout the process of our inspections and negotiations of repairs, she and her team comprehensively addressed all our concerns and made us feel so well taken care of. Both Jennifer and Tod work around the clock and always remember thoughtful touches throughout the year (fun event invitations, darling gifts for my dogs, something bubbly to toast for new years, pie for Thanksgiving -- they think of everything!!) My partner and I just bought a new home using Jennifer as our buyers agent. She came highly recommended by a friend from work and now having worked with Jennifer ourselves we can see why.Part 1) Search through landing the Contract (May - Jun 2012) -Jennifer met with us and we had a great conversation about neighborhoods, the overall process of searching and buying a home, the importance of pre-approval for financing, and next steps. As first time buyers she was SO PATIENT with all our questions and spent many hours on the phone helping us understand the details.All this was wonderful but it was when we actually looked at places and saw Jennifer in action with the sellers agent that her true value REALLY shined. She saw and asked about details we would never have thought of, assertively (but sweetly!) bargained for the best possible deal down to the last detail. When it came time to sign a contract she even met us at 10pm to pickup a check on a weeknight - THAT is dedication.Part 2) Preconstruction - Closing (Jul 2012 – April 2013)We had a very complex building process. We had chosen to purchase a “spec house” (i.e., one of a set a builder plans and simply sells as they are built). We loved the house plan and the location. However, our builder encountered many complex delays that resulted in a prolonged closing process. We submitted our move out notice to our apartment when he gave us a “bomb proof” completion estimate. Turns out it would be another 12 weeks before the house was complete. This meant we had to live with family, get boarding for the pets, put our things in storage, and manage all kinds of issues with our lender, work schedules, etc.Dear reader, it is THIS SITUATION that requires an experienced and skilled SELLER’S AGENT. ANYONE can help you pass papers when there are no problems buying a home. But when there ARE problems (and there WILL be problems, I promise!) that is when you need a seller’s agent to help you through the logistic nightmares that can arise. Jennifer IS that agent. She worked closely with us to negotiate compensation from the builder, apply pressure effectively to speed things up as delays continued, and even helped us find an attorney to ensure our title insurance would indemnify us from any problems the builder may have left over. One night she stayed up on the phone until 2am with my partner sending e-mails back and forth with the builder and attorney.If you think buying a house is simply a matter of finding what you want and signing some papers, please think again. A subject matter expert that can spot problems before they happen and safely resolve emergent issues is what will make you happy during and years AFTER you close on your house. Jennifer is a brilliant seller’s agent, extremely dedicated and above all EFFECTIVE. She has earned our very highest recommendation. We will never use another realtor.Jennifer gets MORE than 5 stars - if a member of my family or my best friend was buying a house in Houston - Id send them to Jennifer immediately.
