We are first time home buyers and we had the opportunity to work with Shannon and Kailey, but mainly Kailey. From the first initial phone call to a two hour in-person meeting (we had a lot of questions and they were incredibly generous with their time), we knew we wanted to work with them. I really appreciated that Kailey and Shannon listened to our questions, concerns and requirements for a home. We mainly worked with Kailey touring homes together, answering all of our questions and walked us through the entire process from beginning to end. We had an amazing experience working with Kailey and she reassured us every step of the way. Kailey (and Shannon) were incredibly responsive, I’m talking same day responses. We never felt pressured, we were given real and honest information about the homes and Kailey went above and beyond and provided us additional financial numbers for homes in the area to compare - which was incredibly helpful for us. I cant recommend Shannon and her team enough. Me and my fiancé were first time home-buyers in 2021, which was unprecedented for both home prices and competition. We had no experience with what went into buying a home (and just moved to the DFW area 8 months before), but Shannon was able to take a step back and explain each step to really inform us about the process. About a week after working with Shannon we were under contract for our dream home without having to sacrifice our wants. We had a relatively short period before we closed, but we never felt behind or like we were missing something because Shannon was on top of it all and even provided recommendations so all I had to do was call a number and leave the rest to her. However, I believe what sets Shannon and her team apart from others is how much help she has provided even after we closed. We moved in October 2021 and even now (April 2022) I reach out and ask for her advice on plumbing, appraisals, etc.

We relocated from FL to TX. Due to special financing needs (I am self-employed from the perspective of most underwriters), it took us 15 months to get to the point that we could actually put offers on homes. During that time she put us in touch with someone that she knew had some creative financing ideas (which did not work out, but she was absolutely our advocate during that time).Shannon stayed in touch the entire 15-month period, modifying our search criteria 3-4 times, resetting site passwords, and even showed us houses when we were in town (but not yet ready to make an offer). When we were actually ready to make offers, Shannon explained the crazy market we were in and provided solid recommendations on how to make an offer that would be accepted by the seller. WE LISTENED TO HER. In very early 2021 we put offers on just 3 homes (one of which we were quite confident we would not get because our max was too low). The home we bought had 8 offers, 4 of which were cash -- ours was not all cash and was not the highest offer. We heeded her counsel and our offer focused on what she felt would get us the house (but would not be considered stupid-risky for us). She also talked to the selling realtor (and thus the seller) and talked us up as solid and honorable buyers.After our offer was submitted Shannon kept in touch via phone, email and text to make sure we were aware of local standards, next steps etc. We closed in just 30 days, in part because she pushed hard to keep all parties coordinated and moving towards closing.Without a doubt I would recommend Shannon to a buyer!

Jodi and Shannon from the North Group were great. They met with us and assessed our house, both inside and out. Made some recommendations as to which improvements would add the best value to our home. Helped us stage the house to fully show its beauty and functionality. Reviewed the pros and cons at setting our asking price and explaining the logic to making it appropriate for our area and giving us the potential to receive multiple offers. After all of the planning and consulting and we actually listed our house on the market, we received 9 offers over our asking price and were under contract (with a backup contract) in 3 1/2 days. Jodi presented us a spreadsheet of the multiple offers we received and again reviewed the various aspects of the offers, extended our lease back to 30 days, and answered our questions to allow us to determine which offer we would choose. Once the contracts were signed, she kept us up to date with all of the different stages (option periods, appraisals, closing date, etc.). Even after the closing she kept in touch to see how we were doing and if she could assist us with anything else.
