Ive used Candice Skinner real estate since 2017. I’ve had several property managers during that time frame. Summer has by far been the most responsive and professional I’ve experienced. She is thorough and well versed on my property and everything that’s wrong with it. We’ve had an amazing experience all around. Ms. Summer has been incredible through this whole renting process. From viewing the home, getting approved, signing the lease & making payments, getting the keys and moving in was all within a few days, which is exactly what we needed after losing a home to Hurricane Laura. This home is perfect for our little family. She even was sure to check on us after Hurricane Delta came through to make sure we were safe and no damage had happened. While I have no experience with her property management department, I can tell you that as a real estate agent, she has always been helpful, respectful, and professional. I didnt have any issues with either of my closings(both of which she personally attended), and she was available for me through the entire process both times. Her husband, Ken, even helped me with a remodel. I honestly cant imagine having a bad experience with Candice, and I am truly shocked to see some of these critical reviews. Really I think there may be some trolls on here. If youre in the market for a home, or need a quality agent to list your current home, I can assure you Candice and her team will work hard for you.

I have been a rental property tenant, since November, 2019. Candice Skinner and her entire staff have made the transitional period, between selling our home & building our new home, surprisingly, simplified. I am an extremely, determined person, who insists on getting my money’s worth, regarding business matters. If I have a concern, issue, or, question, I expect a prompt response & resolution. I was amazed by the level of professionalism, promptness, &, no-nonsense, business ethic exhibited by Ms. Sumer Duplechain, during my recent home inspection! Ms. Sumer thoroughly & promptly provided me with answers to all of my questions and offered me instructions, regarding, not only the payment module of the rental property portal but how to use the service order module, within the portal, as well. As I pay my monthly rental fee, a week prior to it being due, I noticed a couple of months ago that the payment module did not reflect a balance due. I called Ms. Sumer and within 2 minutes, not only was I able to make my monthly rental fee payment, as desired, but was able to terminate our conversation with a sense of peace, because she explained the reason for the initial $0 balance that I had initially, incurred, upon logging into the payment module. As a tenant, I have experienced 2 home inspections, this far, the most recent was vastly, different than the first, with Ms. Sumer, at the helm of the inspection! She explained the process, upon arrival, and offered words of kindness and appreciation, to me, after examination of the home, which put my nervous, mind at ease. Thank you, Ms. Sumer, for “raising the bar ” in the property management arena of Candice Skinner & Co.! I recommend y’all to anyone who is in search of a rental property!
