Spectacular doesn’t quite seem to fully encompass how absolutely extraordinary Lacy Zihlman was in helping my family sell our home. From start to finish, she made the process seamless, easy, and fast. Not only does she go above and beyond in marketing your home to potential buyers, she also explains each step along the way with patience and makes you feel like you have known her forever. She is personable yet professional and always willing to help. We sold our house after only two showings and I’m convinced it was due to the amazing video that Lacy filmed showcasing our home and highlighting specific features. Not only were we able to sell our home quickly, we also found a friend for life. I can not recommend Lacy or the team at Astra Realty enough. I wish I could give them more stars! Karen Cleveland was my realtor, and she listened to my concerns, gave me ideas for getting my home ready to sell and walked with me through the whole process. Dyan Thomas gets very high marks on all aspects of representation. She is knowledgeable, diligent, responsive, supportive, honest, and efficient. I have been through the process of buying or selling property at least 15 times in three states so I have some basis for comparison to other realtors. Many realtors are quite good, while some only talk a good game. Dyan knows real estate. She routinely and promptly responded to texts or emails at night or on weekends. I have practiced law for 45 years in Alaska and been involved in many real estate transactions so I understand the process, documentation, strategies, etc., yet there were times when Dyan provided input I deemed wise and reconsidered my initial thoughts. We made it from listing date to closing date in 21 days on a house we sold. That is not normal, and Dyan (or any realtor) cannot be expected to deliver that swiftly on most transactions, but you can expect a capable realtor who has your best interests in mind. I give an unqualified recommendation to retain Dyan and Astra Realty.

We were making a move to Texas from out of state so I heavily relied on Sheris guidance as to where the best areas were, schools, commute time etc. When I made a trip down to view homes, she cleared her entire weekend to show me the area and all the homes I was interested in. She had them lined up back to back and was super accommodating and willing to work with my schedule. When we communicated from remotely, she was always quick to respond, super knowledgeable and honest (which I very much appreciated!) Moving from Idaho, there were a lot of things we didnt know, but Sheri made sure to address all our concerns and she went to bat for us when needed. She gets high praise for a reason and we are super grateful we found her. Working with her remotely was a breeze. We closed on our new home recently, and I wanted to share some of the details of our selling and building process, and the AMAZING job that Leslie and her team at Astra Realty did for us.First, Leslie worked with us as we shopped for a builder, and was instrumental in us getting additional discounts, design center dollars, and competitive financing. Leslie knew all of the right questions to ask, and wasnt hesitant to stand up for us, her clients.Second, we put our existing home on the market in March of this year, which turned out to be a terrible time to sell--existing home sales in our area were down by as much as 40% from 2018. Leslie arranged for us to work with a staging and organization expert (think Kondo method on steroids--if it doesnt bring you joy, get rid of it!). She hooked us up with a fantastic paint crew, cleaners, flooring people, and staging experts.Leslie and team worked tirelessly and with incredible patience and empathy to hold open house sessions, to keep our info current in Zillow and other listings, and pushed out our info to local realtor and social media sites constantly.More important, Leslie handled two VERY nervous clients, made herself available to seemingly hundreds of questions, and always knew the right thing to say when we needed a little confidence boost.Leslie and team worked with us all the way through closing on our existing home. Completely agree with everything others have said here about Lacy Zihlman. Lacy helped us sell our home during this crazy housing period. Lacy is not only extremely knowledgeable about her field, but calm, poised and supportive throughout the entire process. Buying/selling can be an emotional roller coaster and Lacy was always there to guide us through, just about the time a question pops into your head, she emails or texts about it. I honestly many times felt like we were her only clients even though I know she was juggling many. Natalie Imhoff is the absolute best!! She helped us find our perfect house during this crazy sellers market. The experience of having to buy a home when there is very little inventory, having to compete with multiple offers, and paying a higher than normal asking price can be a bit discouraging but Natalie made this as pleasant as possible! She was patient and kind during all of our house viewings (we asked her to meet up almost everyday for a couple weeks lol) and she even shared her insight on things to look for inside the house. Let me first say this was no small undertaking for my wife and I in choosing a realtor or realty company to market our home. We live in a very unique neighborhood where home prices are likely the one of the highest per square foot of any place in McKinney. A little back story, our process actually began almost 18 months ago when we interviewed Leslie along with many other top realtors in the DFW area. We needed someone who not only brought expertise about the market and our area but also knowledge on what we could do to get top dollar for our house. Our situation was somewhat different then most due to the fact that our home was paid for and we were in no hurry to sell but both felt it was time for us to downsize as we are now empty nesters. Let me say that Leslie never came across as pushy or insistent on listing our home, nor did she ever leverage herself by talking down any other realtors we were considering. Leslie just listened and commented and offered a treasure trove of ideas to improve our position along with look and feel of our home. In the end, we decided to bring in her team to freshen up our home with paint, some newer fixtures, carpet and a staging professional by the name of Jeanette Campbell. It was a huge leap of faith for us to say the least. I’ll be the first to admit I often wondered what in the world I had gotten myself into but Leslie continued to assure me the changes would pay off and they did. We ended up getting about a 500% ROI on the money we invested. Furthermore, because we had no plans to immediately buy a new home she even brought in her furniture liquidator who sold most all of our furniture with out us having to hire movers or spend money on a storage facility. Our experience with Sheri Matthews and Astra Realty was absolutely the best we could hope for when we selected this company to represent us for the sale of our home as well as the purchase of our new home.
