When I decided to study abroad in Houston and started looking for a house, I found out that in America, unlike in Japan, each apartment has a leasing office, so I had to consult with them individually about moving in. Whats more, if you apply before you go to the U.S., you wont have a social security number or a local phone number, and youll have a hard time getting a contract. I was prepared to live in a hotel, but luckily a friend introduced me to Susan Annoura, and I was able to move into an apartment from the first day I arrived in the United States!They will promptly respond to your requests, wishes, and questions, such as your childs school district, whether the school bus will arrive, and the rent price range. I was unable to use transfer WISE when making a deposit for my first apartment, but they took care of that for me.Immediately after arriving, I was prepared to sleep on the floor without a futon, but there is a rental service such as air mattresses, pillows, futons, etc. In addition, there are things like cup ramen, garbage bags, disposable plates and spoons that can be used for itchy places. I decided to buy a house in Houston and asked Susan to help me. I was able to get a quick response via email, phone, text, etc. (something you dont often get in the US), so I was able to quickly resolve even the smallest of concerns. Actually, on the way there was a big accident where our house was flooded, but Susan immediately rushed over and got in between us and the seller to support us. This was very reassuring for me as I was exhausted from the shock of what had happened. Thanks to Susan, who was present at the builders explanation of the house and translated it into Japanese, and who always made sure we didnt have any trouble, I was able to go through the closing process feeling refreshed. I highly recommend Susan, who is knowledgeable about the local situation, has an extensive local network, and is fluent in Japanese.She helped me find an apartment in Houston for the first time, and I was able to find an apartment within my budget in a clean and safe area. I think Japanese people have a sense that safety is a given, but in America safety is not a given. You can search for cheap and good properties on the internet. But is the property in a safe area? Is it possible to easily obtain information related to daily life, such as school information and daily shopping? Susan is knowledgeable about the local situation, so she introduces properties with consideration to information that is difficult to obtain online but is important for daily life. The Japanese peoples attention to detail, ability to reach even the most itchy areas, and their cheerfulness and vitality make them extremely reliable. She feels like a caring older sister.Of course, I consulted her when I purchased a home a few years later. This is the correct answer! We were able to purchase a house that exceeded our expectations and was within our budget. I still remember how overjoyed my husband John and I were. As I am not American, this was my first time buying real estate.
