Tbh, so far has been really good. There was a mishap with my getting locked out of my new apartment and Loren herself drove down to help me and when she couldnt fix it, they had a maintenance person to help in like 20 minutes. I dont think anyone has ever been that quick to solve something. And this was at 5 pm right before they close. Otherwise theyve been quick to respond, the realtor I worked with was amazing. Happy to update the review as I live here, but so far, really good.Updating this a year later, 2022, still really good.

I worked w/ Julie Levy on 2 separate occasions for 2 separate leases. She was great to work with both times! She was quick to respond when communicating and made sure she correctly knew what I was looking for. She looked into options for me that werent as clear cut and was able to pull strings for me & went out of her way in investigating to get exactly what I wanted. She also followed up with me several times to make sure I had all the paperwork needed to finalize my lease and made recommendations I didnt think about. I would definitely recommend working with her!

I was very pleased from top to bottom with 512 realty! I worked with Ric Howard, and he was very knowledgeable of all the properties he showed us, and everyone at 512 realty, Ric especially, were very professional. They made the whole pre leasing process very quick and easy! In fact, my roommate and I are from Houston, so we made a day trip to Austin to look at places, found one we loved, and submitted our application that same day, no trouble at all! If youre looking to rent in the Austin area, definitely give these guys a call, you wont regret it!

I recently interacted with Ric while looking for a place to stay for next year, and I was really happy with how quickly and professionally everything was taken care of. I was able to walk in off the street, get a list of potential units that met my requirements, and go visit the places all within the span of a few days.Additionally, I had leased a unit from 512 realty for 2 years in the past (2011-2013), and I never had any problems having maintenance work done when it was requested. I think this may vary by property, but in my case the requests were usually dealt with within 2 or 3 days, even when the issues were fairly minor. When I got my deposit back at the end of the lease, all charges were reasonable (mostly just replacing light bulbs and blinds, which I had neglected to do). There were a few minor annoyances here and there, but overall it was a good enough experience that I had no hesitation leasing from 512 again this year.

I was so scared when I signed a lease with this company because of the reviews. I had some issues in my unit, and the complex had some problems too. However, the management team has been excellent. I might be one of the lucky ones, but Ive had a great experience with 512 Realty so far. Ric Howard really helped me out. He was prompt and flexible with show times. Also, he was honest about the property and didnt try to up-sell me which was really appreciated. When I asked one of the tenants at the apartment I was being showed about the property, neighborhood and utilities, she told me verbatim what I was told by Ric. I recommend going through him if you get the chance.

512 was a great help at the Lonestar Lofts. They responded quickly to my emails and thoroughly about any questions I had throughout the lease! Many service requests took only 1-2 days to be addressed/fixed and for a larger issue (dishwasher), they called me back the same day to set up an appointment.

512 Realty has been managing my apartment complex for a few months now and I am very satisfied with their work. They are a large company with many properties in the Austin area but still manage to pay individual attention to their tenants and their issues. All of my maintenance requests have been handled very quickly (usually the same day or within 24 hours).In my complex specifically (an older building) there were many serious problems, largely ignored by the previous managers, that 512 addressed immediately to repair. Recently, our heater and water heater stopped working at the same time. The maintenance team was here within hours to correct the problem, and worked round the clock to repair and replace everything as quickly as possible. After the work in my apartment was done, 512 even hired a maid to clean the entire unit and provided a large rent credit to all the residents to compensate for the inconvenience.Overall, I feel 512 couldnt be doing a better job. Jillian and the rest of the team are inarguably the best property managers I have had in Austin in 5 years.

Julie Levy is absolutely amazing! Best realtor, we would definitely recommend her to everyone!!!!!!We used 512 Reality to help us find a new place to live next year. Our Realtor was Julie Levy. Julie was absolutely AMAZING! I could not be happier. Julie really went out of her way to help us find a place to live. We has used two other realtors who just would not show us places that we liked (different companies), Julie however went above and beyond to find us places that matched our desires perfectly. We only had to go look at different places once before we fell in love with our new apartment. Did I mention that she met us on a Sunday!! I know working with four very particular college aged girls can be very frustrating to work with, but Julie was always happy to help. After we decided on a place she did not abandon us. She walked us through the process of signing a lease. The lease was not even with 512 Reality. She remained present through out the leasing process and ensured that we would be well taken care of and not taken advantage of. She is the best realtor around campus.

I had Julie Levy as my Realtor and she was very patient, through, and helpful. She followed up with us during the leasing process, and got back to all us in a very timely manner. Me and my roommates had issues finding a fourth person to room with us and Julie helped us find the last person. She also set up an email thread so myself, my roommates, and Julie could all communicate efficiently. I was able to do all of my paperwork online, so if youre out of the state or country it makes completing the paperwork a lot easier.Jillian Verret, the manager at 512 and was also SO helpful and knowledgeable with my leasing questions. Me and my roommates had some confusion in the beginning, but Jillian explained things and made the process that much easier. I really appreciated Julie and Jillians help with this leasing process.The only reason I gave it a four star and not a five is because other employees at 512 would give me different responses to my questions. I would have to confirm my questions with Julie or Jillian, but other then that Im satisfied with 512 Realty.

I live out of town and was worried it would be near impossible to find a nice affordable place near campus. 512 Realty helped us find a nice updated 2 bedroom close to campus and I couldnt be more relived that everything is taken care of before the move in date. It took a few weeks of patience and research but Ryan Spencer did not give up on helping us every time a new apartment we were interested in got leased up. I even recommended his help to a friend who is looking to move there as well. Thank you for finding our new home!

The best place in Austin with the most amazing realtors. I worked with Ric Howard. He was wonderful. He showed me several places in the area I requested. He did not try to push me to rent in other areas like other realtors attempted to do. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Most importantly, he was patient when I was not sure what I wanted to do. He discussed all the alternatives available to me and helped me see what I wanted in a community and home. From these discussions I was able to figure out my must-haves and then find the perfect place for me. I love my new place! Ric even checked in with me after my move to make sure everything went according to plan and I was satisfied with my new place. I will definitely go back to Ric in the future and I recommend him to anyone looking for a place to rent or buy.

I had heard mixed reviews about 512 Reality, but I decided to give them a chance. I am so glad I did! Ric Howard really went above and beyond to help me find an apartment in my budget. I have never had the pleasure to meet Julie in person, but via the phone Julie comes across as honest and sticks to her word. I never felt deceived or mislead by her. Ric Howard was a huge help to me when I was in a bit of a pickle! I had deposited and applied to a really sketchy place with incompetent office people, and called 512 Realty on Thursday afternoon. I explained that I needed a place for $800 or under by the 1st. He found two of their properties available, and made an appointment to show the place I was most interested in on Friday. After seeing it and my other options, I applied and brought in my application/deposit money on Saturday. By Saturday afternoon, I had a lease to sign! Ric was available and helpful to me when I texted him on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and I couldnt have asked for an easier, less stressful moving process than Ric and all the others at 512 Realty have given me! And so quickly! It is now Tuesday and I am moving in this afternoon....thank you, Ric Howard and 512 Realty! You rescued me from an awful situation, and I am excited for my adorable new apartment in an amazing location! :-)

First few months, not a fan..but now, I love them!After a fiasco with maintenance and a leaking tub faucet, things have very much improved. Customer service is much better, maintenance is much faster (they hired more people, I think), and they have been better about warnings for emergency shut offs/etc.Machelle Ralls and Ryan have gone above and beyond to help me find a new apartment with my roommate. They have been amazing and are 100% the reason why I stayed with 512 instead of going to a different complex/realty company. Without them and the complete 180 change from 2014, I would not be here.I highly recommend Machelle, and 512 apartments. They have done so much for their units lately, and their people will do the utmost to help you out, so long as youre nice, too!!

Im a current resident of a property managed by 512 Realty (District 53), and Ive got to say --- Ive never had my maintenance requests taken care of so quickly anywhere else. For example, this weekend, there was considerable water seepage in my apartment. I emailed my property manager (Melissa N.), and within an hour, she replied and said shes going to send someone over to take care of it. Within two hours, someone came over and fixed the issue. And did I mention that all this happened over the weekEND?!!

Management has been great and maintenance has been really quick in taking care of the problems that occur. Just recently I had Philip help take care of an issue in my unit and he was done fixing it within an hour. Everything has been great given this is the first time I have lived off campus from UT.

Jaryd from 512 Realty has helped me find great apartments around campus twice in the past 3 years. He is super friendly and gives an honest assessment of every place he shows. My apartment wishlist is usually pretty long, and Jaryd is just so nice and patient in showing me places that fit my requirements. The leasing process at 512 Realty is also quick and hassle-free. They gave us clear instructions and got everything done within a day after we finalized the apartment.

My boyfriend and I are moving to Austin and we had 3 weeks to find a place to live. Finding a place to live in a that city youve only been to once can be a daunting task. We worked with Jessi Timmons, who was super awesome! She listened to the things we needed and found homes in our price range. She a also made recommendations on which neighborhoods to live in based on our needs. Jessi also went out of her way to reply to us quickly and connect with us after business hours and on weekends. We found the home we wanted and it was processed very quickly.

I had the pleasure of working with Alli Vaith to find a home in Hyde Park for my roommate and I. Not only was Alli incredibly responsive to every text and email sent her way but she made the entire search, application, and approval process explicit and flawless. We even encountered a minor roadbump along the way when there was a miscommunication between the owner and the lease terms. At that point both Alli and Jonathan Hubbard did everything in their power to make this right and they did so within just a few hours. I would recommend 512 Realty, Alli and Jonathan to anyone who wants to have an honest, efficient and seamless home/apartment search experience.
