I just worked with Claremont Property Company for some hurricane protection, and I’m so happy I did! They were so quick to respond and came out right away to check out my house. We have 4 buildings, carports and an office on 7 acres of land right on the gulf of Mexico. Hurricane Ian arrived in September of 2022 with over a 10 foot storm surge. The surge totally destroyed all first floor units, carports, office and much of our infrastructure. Claremont was able to provide in a professional manor the recourses needed to complete the rebuild of our complex.I highly recommend them for any future project.

Our first experience with Claremont was Hurricane Ian and shame on me for not writing a review earlier. I am writing now because our Hurricane Helene experience has been identical so far. We are ahead of schedule and were worried about how the approaching storm would affect us. They squeezed in a visit today to put in a plan to mitigate scheduling delays when it would have been perfectly acceptable to put us off due to the incredible volume and scrambling to prepare for the next storm.It was above and beyond and is consistent with the way they have handled our issues on every project across two storms now.

Theres nothing that can describe the sense of loss following a hurricane and the damage to a home. Claremont was assigned to rebuild on behalf of the HOA and I cant express enough how easy they made the process for selections, had great communication and follow up when there was uncertainty about timing or next steps. Sadly, some people wanted to take advantage of the disaster and sought to have a rebuild that was more extravagant than what was lost. When that couldnt happen, they blamed Claremont. Throughout the process and despite competing expectations from homeowners, Claremont did an outstanding job of exceeding expectations.

Claremont succeeds at returning storm destroyed properties to owners where other companies have and will fail. Their ability to hit the ground running, and front the finances to save your property is unparalleled in the construction industry. Anyone who has worked a disaster knows that it can take months to get any funds from your insurance if not years, without an expert you may get ZERO! Claremont starts on day one, and works until their specialists can get the insurance company to release funds. I have witnessed their negotiations to save properties that could have been demolished, leaving owners with nothing. They are tenacious and a champion for the project. Bringing in the best managers and engineers to negotiate with local authorities to save the investment of their clients. Hours, days weeks, months are required at times to accomplish these steps. Frustrations with this approach can be compared to Alabama football…. The winning may frustrate many but the process always works. Highly recommend this company. Taking a different approach on a project will, cost more time and more money, in this industry they are simply the best. Frustration with the process is an inability to understand the process.

I can not say enough good things about this company or it’s employees. The stress from dealing with the aftermath of a hurricane can be overwhelming at times, and Claremont made this process so much easier. They answered all of our questions and concerns and if they didn’t have answer , they addressed it immediately and gave me a response within record time. If anyone has the misfortune of a disaster and should require help, I would suggest Claremont 10 fold. I hope you will have the pleasure of working with Randall. Pablo, Josè or Maria. Their care and concern for your issues, as well as your personal property are 2nd to none. The quality of restoring our home to its original order has been taken with utmost care and they pay attention to detail. Claremont Property Company was the general contractor for the rebuild of Cove Harbor following Hurricane Michael in Panama City, FL in October 2018. As an owner and board member I was very involved in the process of Cove Harbor’s rebuild. Claremont was an excellent general contractor for us. The rebuild required cooperation and patience by all owner’s, board members, engineers, and contractors to ensure the project was completed in a timely and accurate manner. A project of this size does not come without challenges. I can say without exception Claremont was always willing to listen to our issues and concerns. They addressed each issue directly with all involved, including specific owners and board members. They worked very hard to meet our requirements and insure that all owner’s issues were addressed and resolved,The Megarity family, primary owner’s of Claremont went well beyond what was required to rebuild Cove Harbor. They were always willing to work with the owners and board to resolve issues, whether it was with Cove Harbor’s insurance company, public adjuster, and/or supporting engineering firm. Keeley, Shannon, and Ian Megarity are honest, hard working individuals, requiring all their workers and subcontractors to adhere to their principles of providing a quality product to their customers.Ian Megarity was Claremont’s lead for the Cove Harbor project for many months leading up to the completion of work. As we went through the work punch lists with him, he never failed to address and resolve each item. Lastly, I as an individual and I believe the Cove Harbor board as a whole would not hesitate to use Claremont again. I am writing this in response to untrue remarks that were put on google review byone of our owners here at Cove Harbor Condominiums – Panama City, FL.Contrary to what she said Ian and Clairmont Properties did an outstanding job restoring our condominium after Hurricane Michael damaged us terribly in late 2018. We were not able to settle with the insurance company for a long time after the hurricane so that we could hire a General Contractor and give them the go ahead for the job. That happened approximately August,2020. Clairmont withIan as Project manager came in and started with the Roof Replacement, AC Replacements which were all the compressors on the flat roof were blown away by the storm. Same time frame with the unit interiors, windows, and exteriordoors. Ian worked with the Board of directors to complete these items in as timely a manner as possible.Since I have a background in construction I worked very closely with Ian as he navigated through the process. He worked very hard to complete the items while trying to make everyone happy. Ninety nine percent of our owners will speak just as highly of Clairmont and Ian as I am. Mainly one Hateful person here refused to co-operate, refused entry to her unit so that the work could be completed. Her unit is still not completed because of her refusal to allow entry and claims that she was still having leaks through the outside wall into her unitWe did have some defects in that stucco wall which was totally replaced after the storm. These leaks were acted upon by Clairmont by hiring waterproofing contractors, pressure water tests to find any leaks. As this went on entry to her unit was very limited to say the least and co-operation in helping Clairmont find any leaks that may have been there was practically nonexistent.She tried to hamper Clairmont’s work by harassing their workers, threateningthem, telling them they could not ride the elevator as they were trying to get themselves and materials to all 8 floors in our building.I got to know Clairmont, Keely McGarity and Ian very well during this rebuild. I can say without a doubt that they did an excellent job and the few times they had problems they took care of them quickly. Clairmont and Ian on several items took care of them even though they were not in their contract just to make sure we at Cove Harbor were happy. I found Ian and Clairmont to repeatedly do the rightthing in those situations.If we had another hurricane batter us again tomorrow I would want to hireClairmont with Ian at the helm as project manager!Wayne Turk – SecretaryCove Harbor Board of Directors

Our condominium building and units were damaged by Hurricane Michael. The condominium association used Claremont Property Company for the repairs/reconstruction. When other contractors said they could not get building materials for the roof, Claremont said they could and transported the materials from their Texas location to Florida. Upon contracting them in March, the new roof and a/c units were in place and finished by June. Later in the reconstruction, Ian Megarity of Claremont Property was the assigned project manager. Ian addressed any issues that came up, found solutions to the problem, and made sure we were pleased with the results. It did not matter if it was a building issue or an individual unit owner issue, he addressed the problem or concern. Claremont’s subcontractors and workers did good work as well as being polite. I highly recommend both Ian Megarity, as project manager, and Claremont Property Company for repairs/reconstruction after a storm event.
