Austin Rooms for Rent is the only place in town to go if you need very affordable housing in Austin. I had to move quickly due to an emergency and they worked overtime to help me find a way to rent with less than stellar credit and they got me moved in within the weekend.I lived in one of their units for four months and I was very impressed with the responsiveness of management. They addressed concerns with great reliability. Broken things were fixed or replaced within a few days.The building was old but it was always a comfortable temperature and there was plenty of hot water. The appliances were all newer and worked well, the building felt secure, and the manager is a complete gem.This company is doing good work by providing affordable yet comfortable rentals in downtown Austin. Highly recommend.

Application is fast and easy. Rate is great. It is a safe place. 2 Minutes drive to I-35. $60 monthly parking in a nearby garage or free parking under bridge of I-35 (both 10 minutes walk). It is a convenient place for young people. Would Come back in the future if needed.

Convenience of living downtown without the downtown price tag. Great especially for anyone that works in the bar/server industry. The building manager Dave is amazing. Very attentive and friendly. Every time I needed anything from him it was done immediately. I would stay there again and will recommend this location to all of my friends.

Unbeatable price and location. Definitely not luxury, but a great option for easy going people who need a flexible place to stay. Next best places to live downtown are 3x the price. I was a tenant for 3 years and had very few issues.

This place offers a room at a amazing price in a spectacular location. If you are for the bar scene and are looking for a reasonably price place I doubt a better location exists. Though at times past management took a while to correct some issues like broken sinks or bad dryers for the price its easy to disregard these issues. If the new management is a good as it says it will be then it will be an easy 5 stars.

Stayed there for 7 months without any issues. Best location you can find in Austin with the most affordable rent. The only issue is the noise you get from the bar downstairs which wont let you sleep untill 2am everyday of the week. Apart from that its the best deal in Austin.

A pretty décent place to live, close to everything, Nice roommates, walk anywhere, golds gym à few blocks away, very timely response for maintenance requests, safe. It will be loud until 2am, but once the bars close its quieter than the suburbs. No réal complaints, except for the occasional roach, but in a building this old its to be expected.

Helped w the timing and the price, definitely a affordable place to be at while your trying to save $$$ for rent. Had some little issues but they get back to you right away! Definitely check them out

I like the area. Really convenient. I like that fact that the tenant is always ready to help , when i got locked out he came to help, helped trash my bed when I moved out. Thank you David.

I had an overall good experience considering the situation I was in at my previous domicile. Easy in- Easy out. No lease. And Dave and staff were very helpful.
