My AC went out of course on the weekend. I called and they worked to get a tech to me. They sent Shawn and it made my day. He took the time to explain what had happened and fixed me right up. The service and personality were a much welcomed change after having lived in Austin for years. I definitely recommend Wilson for your HVAC needs!

So far I have had a 5 star, and a 1 star experience with Wilsons Heating & Air.The first time they came out they recommended replacing an air handler, and did a great job, it has been working fantastically. While a bit more than I hoped to spend, I was fine with the service and quality of the staff.So I called for a second time. Turned out that a $20 Capacitor was dead on the compressor. so they charged me $450 to replace it. Even the most expensive domestic Cap I found, was no more than $40. That type of markup is redonkulas. I would have no problem paying the Service fee of $79, and even $50 for the capacitor, but $450? I will have to think long and hard before choosing Wilsons again with the type of highway robbery.I contacted the company, and reviewed the situation with them, and they issued a credit for the over charge.

These guys are great. Sean came out several times and was extremely communicative and professional. He and Stephen put in a ton of their time and effort to help us sort out what was going on with our new unit that shouldn’t have been having issues but was (and of course, in the hottest part of the summer!) Sean was a huge help today (a Saturday). He went out of his way to come diagnose the issue, go pick up parts after the parts store had closed, and fixed the AC at our airbnb property. It is rare to find customer service like this these days. This was after another company that we have used for years had been called at 9 am and wouldn’t even try to help us. I now have a new honest, trustworthy AC company and will be using them for my personal residence and the Airbnb I manage. Thanks again Sean, I really appreciate you.

I reached out to Wilson after my elderly parents had a company come out and claimed they had $2000 worth of repairs and due to age they should just replace the unit. My parents could not financially afford this. The service tech who came out was courteous and showed true integrity never once trying to upsale a veteran on a fixed income. The problem was fixed and cost them no more than the service fee. It is very rare to see this kind of integrity now days. I cannot thank Wilson enough!!!!

I was needing a mini-split AC system. I chose Wilson because they’re rated highly as is their product. If you know anything about skilled labor you will recognize the talent as soon as work starts. I’m an old electrician. I didn’t say anything about it to them. I just observed. Wow! These guys not only work fast but they’re artists! It’s an immaculate install! I will use Wilson again, and again.

I obtained multiple bids for an air conditioning system and could not believe how everyone wanted your business and how some will even lure you in to a 50% interest rate. I was referred to Wilsons and I have to say that it is probably the most professional a/c service company I had to deal with in many years of repairs and maintenance. Stephen spent almost an hour on the phone with me answering my many questions. Nicole and Stephen helped to facilitate our costs in a way that we could afford to make a full system replacement happen. The installation crew were on time, efficient and knowledgeable. They registered all of our equipment to make sure we get the best protection possible. The entire team went above and beyond our expectations and we are definitely happy to have them onboard for all of our future needs and repairs. I highly recommend them. In todays times, it is hard to find people with integrity and good character.

I’ve used Wilson’s Heating & Air for various properties and I’ve always been extremely satisfied.Most recently our AC compressor died on a Friday (in August) and Wilson’s was out within a couple hours to diagnose. In less than two days from diagnosing the issue the HVAC was replaced and at a fair price. Really appreciate their focus on making sure my family was comfortable.You can trust these guys.

Very simple, I called and they had a person on site in about 3 hours. Problem was fixed within an hour, but a second call was placed a few hours later as it was not cooling. It was found that my drain had plugged on the discharge and had shut the compressor off after the unit was fixed. The drain was cleared and the second call was a no charge. During the repair it was determined that the evaporator coils in the AC unit were plugged and should be cleaned. I made arrangements to have that done a different day and since we were home on Memorial Day, the repair was done then in early morning. Very satisfied customer. Cost was realistic. Service was excellent. Recommend Wilsons Heating and Air for anyone.

Highly recommend! I was referred to Wilsons Heating and Air by a close friend that I call whenever I need work done at my house. My AC was blowing out dirt and with a baby on the way I needed it to be fixed quickly. Stephen came out to my house and was able to diagnosis the problems immediately and provide multiple estimates for me to choose what level I wanted. Unfortunately, I needed a full replacement, ducts and all. Stephen and his crew were able to get everything installed quickly and professionally in two days. They even relocated the unit to a more efficient area of the attic and as a bonus opened up a convenient storage space. When my dad mentioned he was having AC problems at his house I told him what I spent on a full replacement and he couldnt believe I was able to get all that done for that price. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks a lot guys!!

My husband and I are in the process of purchasing a home and during our normal home inspection the inspector noticed they unit was not coming on so I called Wilson’s explained my situation and urgency on this matter and they rearranged their schedule to get someone out ASAP while our home inspector was still there. The tech was so polite and explained everything to where I actually understood what was happening. They are great people and they put customers first. I will always use them from now on and recommend that you use them to!

I can’t say enough good things about Wilson’s. I called them at 4:30am and left a message. Steven returned my call at 7:15am and (Barry) the technician was at the house by 8:30am. He diagnosed the problem and tried a cheaper fix that ended up not working. They then did all of the warranty research on the defective part and located a replacement. The technician left and returned shortly with the new part. He spent the rest of the day installing the new compressor and recharging the system. The AC works better than it ever has!!! These people are great!! They do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it for the price they quote you. We will be Wilson’s customer for life.Jeff

Have had Wilsons a/c taking care of our old home for past 2 years and when I moved to our new home, used other vendors that were closer. None of them were as honest as the Wilson group about what I needed and therefore, fought a/c problems for 1st year in my new home. Wilsons came out, told be what I needed. They were able to get my new system in and fixed the other units to work more efficiently. I now have a comfortable home. I recommend this company to everyone that mentions they have a/c or heating problems. Stephen explains how to make the a/c work more efficient, how the machines are suppose to operate for maximum performance.

Our venerable 23 year old 3-ton unit needed a new capacitor and two control boards. We called Wilsons and John was our service rep. We were notified when he would be available, and he was on time, and took care of the issue after ordering the replacement parts needed. Very personable guy and professional. A joy to work with. The dogs liked him too, they are good judges of character. I would call Wilsons again. Not that i want to have the AC go out mind you!

I remember one extremely hot summer day several years ago, watching with amusement as a couple of boys in the neighborhood were trying to fry an egg on the hood of an old car. But a few hours later, the scorching temperatures did not seem nearly as funny whenever I noticed the temperature on my thermostat steadily rising. The fan on the airconditioning unit was still turning, but unfortunately it was blowing nothing but hot air. Things got steamy very quickly. After calling several AC companies and being told that they might be able to get to my problem next week, I was desparate and decided to try a company outside the Austin city limits. This is how I stumbled on Wilsons Heating and Air Conditioning. This proved to be the best piece of luck with air coditioning issues that I ever had. Not only did Stephen Wilson, the companys owner, show up to address my problem personally, but within a couple of hours, he patched my badly degraded unit and kept it going until it had zero life. His company was a logical choice for us whenever we had to replace the unit. Since that hot summer day, Stephen has done a lot of work for my family and we have always found him to be honest, reliable, fast, and very knowledgeable about the products that he uses. We would never consider letting anyone else work on our heating and air units. If Stephen tells you something, you can take it to the bank. He and his office manger, Nicole, operate Wilsons Heating and Air Conditioning the way EVERY business should be run. Their motto is the needs of the customer are always FIRST.

Amazing from start to finish! Stephen was quick to make it out for the initial assessment of installation of our new HVAC system. He patiently explained the quote, the reason they use American Standard, and how they would recommend the system be layed out (since it was a new install in a finished home). He answered all of our questions and when we decided to use Wilson for the work on the Friday before Thanksgiving, he got the team lined up for Monday (yeah, Thanksgiving week!). When they came out on day 1, it was all business getting things layed out and cut in... we were delighted that the guys were meticulous about controlling dust and sheetrock as the vent holes were cut in. They also had tarps under the attic ladder. In a nutshell; they were respectful and conscientious. Then the final qulity of work was really a thing of beauty. Crisp, sharp lines on the mastic... all ducts & lines hung out of the way so that we lost no storage space aside from where the actual units were set. We were delighted with the quality of work, the pleasant and positive attitudes of Sonny, Barry & Stephen and the overall experience! Oh... and I was asking questions the whole time, so I also got a free education on HVAC!
