    I normally dont post reviews but had to today. Blake and Robert came out to assist with my leaking water heater. I am here to say they are the best I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with ! They both were so kind and knowledgeable, went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND what they had to in helping me out . Even staying to make sure the new water heater cycled through before leaving. Can not thank them enough !

    We recently contacted TMI about a replacement furnace, humidifier, and a/c. We met with Woody who thoroughly explained the various options and clearly described the pros, cons, and costs of each. We made a selection and scheduled an installation date. On installation day, John and Colin arrived promptly at 8am and immediately went to work replacing both units. They did efficient work and both units were in by days end. They answered my questions about the new equipment and the clean up was spotless.We did have an issue with the house plumbing and needed some modifications for the humidifier install. That required a second appointment and a week later the plumber Mitch and Brandon came and completed the job. This team showed the same work ethic and attention to detail as the first, fully answering my questions and taking care of the clean up. All in all, working with TMI, Woody, John, Colin, Mitch, and Brandon was an easy, pleasurable experience.

    Highly recommend! I worked with Woody for the estimates for 2 furnace installs. He was a pleasure and made the whole process very easy and smooth. He was very patient with all my questions. They were excellent to work with while we got our financing figured out. Kathy at the office was very pleasant over the phone when she reached out about billing. Chad and Eric (and the other installer-cant remember his name) were super nice and professional during the installations. We will definitely be using them again in the future for any heating, cooling, or plumbing needs!

    Devan from TMI did a great job for us. He has been here 2x now. Once to cap off some old gas pipes in our basement. He solved that problem and no one would even know they were there.Then we had a difficult plumbing issue with our washing machine. Devan reconfigured the plumbing layout to work much better for our laundry needs. He communicated well and was friendly.We have used TMI for years and highly recommend them.

    TMI came to our rescue, our 20+ year old furnace died Sunday night. Fortunately we had small space heaters for our bedroom but Monday morning the rest of the house was 50 degrees. We made a call to Karen and she sent Isaiah to repair in a very short time he had our house warming up. He was very polite and friendly.Unfortunately this repair wasnt enough and we had to call Karen again and order a new furnace. She was able to get Woody to come first thing Tuesday.     TMI comes every season to check the furnace and A/C unit. They are always professional, timely, and efficient. This time, my inspection just happened to be on one of the first days it was chilly enough to turn the furnace on, and my thermostat wasn’t working. Brandon Lamar was the technician that came out, and he was able to quickly do some troubleshooting, replace the thermostat, and get the heat going! He was very informative and great! He showed me how to use the new thermostat too since it was a newer model. He was also able to give me some good recommendations after asking him about filters. I would definitely recommend Brandon.

    Francisco was the technician so was very polite, efficient and clearly explained my options and his recommendation. Woody talked me through the options of buying the new furnace and a/c. He even called me 1 hour after furnace was installed to tell me about a rebate he found for teachers! Great customer service!

    These guys took care of me when my furnace went out. Made it out to diagnose the issue in a couple of hours and the next day I was back up and running. Colin, John and Brandon took good care of me. Very respectful of my home and my nosy 4-legged inspector. They did a good job cleaning up and letting me know some maintenance points of the new unit before leaving.

    Blake, my technician couldn’t have been more kind. I explained the problem and let him know that I was on a fixed income, so I would appreciate it if he would be able to fix the water heater rather than replace it, even though it was quite old. After just a few minutes he was able to locate the problem, got the part and was ready to go in no time. He even stayed long enough to make sure the water was hot and the pilot light stayed lit. I would definitely recommend TMI to anyone looking for plumbing or heating repairs.Now that it is getting colder I wanted to have my furnace checked out so it would be ready for the winter ahead. My technician, Fonzie, arrived promptly at my scheduled time. We started at the thermostat, where he showed me how to clear any flashing messages and alerts. Took him to the furnace room and left him to do his job. 40 minutes later he was back upstairs letting me know everything looked good on both air and furnace. We talked a little bit about air filters and how often it should be changed. I couldn’t have been happier with my service today. As always TMI is the best.P.S. would also like to thank Kathy C.     Dave was on time to look into my ice maker problem. Right off he knew the initial problem was ice in a place it shouldn’t be. He removed the ice maker and removed the unwanted ice. He told me this may be the fix or it may freeze again. If it freezes again the solution is replacing a valve on the backside of the frig. He gave me an estimate if a second visit is required.Dave was very personable and answered my questions.Thanks Dave for a job well done!

    TMI has been amazing to work with, especially Tom. A while ago I hired them to install my house water softener and filter. They were able to educate me on the proper system, install it and provide a parts and labor warranty all cheaper than the original system I was looking at costs. Recently, there was a minor issue with the system, and TMI fixed it within 24 hours at no cost. Highly, Highly recommend.

    We were experiencing a lack of hot water. Thanks goodness we purchased a Home Warranty with TMI. We were scheduled for a late afternoon appointment by their superb office staff, but via a cancelation we were moved up on the schedule. Both Justin and Dylan figured out the problem which led to a replacement water heater. Both employees were excellent at explaining the possible problems and the best remedies so that we would be able to get hot water again. Within a few minutes the problem was figured out and the new water heater was replaced. I appreciate great customer service and thats exactly what we received. Buy the home warranty. It really makes sense!

    Our technician Gregg P. was outstanding. He quickly diagnosed the dryer and was able to make the necessary repairs quickly. Before leaving, he made sure to clean up the area around where he had been working since a lot of lint was pulled from the machine. He absolutely saved us from a potential house fire by working until the issue was found and addressed. Gregg is not only good at his job, he is friendly and professional.     Today was another example of great TMI service. We had a service tech named Ralph looking at our dryer. He was super friendly knowledgeable and quick. Beyond doing the repair he gave us a ton of tips on how to make out appliances last longer. We have a home that is at that age where things begin to need repairs. We believe we at least break even having a tmi home warranty and renewing it each year.

    Our furnace went out in October, so I called around for an estimate. TMI sent a man named Woody to work with me after his tech had diagnosed a bad heat exchanger in the old furnace. Woody is a great guy and went over several options with me and there was no high pressure sales tactics. I asked if there was any promotion available if I had the A/C unit replaced at the same time. Woody gave me a discount on the A/C unit that I felt was fair, so now I have a new furnace and A/C. Thank you Woody!

    Tom was so helpful to get Blake to my house to work on an ongoing issue with my toilet. Blake and, I believe it was Derek came in and talked to us about what they were doing to correctly diagnose the issue with my toilet. When Blake found the issue, he explained to us in great detail what was going on that caused the problem. They went right to work to clear out the sewer line. They covered their shoes and my carpet to keep everything clean. After they left I went into the bathroom and you couldnt even tell that all that work had been done because it was so clean! They were kind, courteous, and very efficient!

    I love the peace of mind of my TMI Home Warranty - knowing they’ll come out to triage and/or fix issues for a fixed price is wonderful. And if they have to come back on the same issue within a window of time, no extra charge.When my kitchen sink faucet was leaking, they didn’t go to “must replace”, their plumber rebuilt the faucet and now it’s better than new without having to make decisions about this model or that, or wait for it to be bought. It’s just fixed.And today, Dave was out for a strange refrigerator noise - he gave some great tips on the right temperature setting on top of working on the reason for the call.

I called them on 9/27/2024 and spoke to a very nice lady and she scheduled for someone to come for the assessment of a sink in my bathroom that was leaking. On 10/02/2024, Josh Maring came right on time and looked at my bathroom plumbing for an assessment & quote.     We have a diamond home maintenance plan with TMI, which has been the best decision we ever made and money well spent. This week alone, we had two issues that required service technicians to come to our home, and another was the seasonal furnace checkup and cleaning.First Tom, he’s the plumbing supervisor and boy did we need the best with the situation with the toilet in our master bathroom. The idiot who initially remodeled the bathroom thought he could just cut floor boards and supports nilly-Willy to accomplish the esthetics he wanted. In the case of this toilet, supports were missing or not located in the correct place to creating the toilet to become loose from the wax seal, began leaking around the base, and became a rocking chair type toilet. Tom throughly assessed the situation, put together a plan, presented it to us with the cost, and began work to complete the project. Not only was everything fix above and beyond my expectations, Tom left the area cleaner than he found it. His work was excellent and he was great to visit with while he was here. TMI should be proud to have Tom as a supervisor in their company.Next Dan, the technician who completed the warranty covered checkup and cleaning of our furnace. First of all, he was able to arrive before the time given for the service which was nice. TMI’s office staff called to verify if that was ok first. Dan was courteous and took precautions as to not track dirt on our floors. He was thorough, taking his time to make sure everything was completed per the inspection instructions. I would highly recommend Dan for the inspection, cleaning, and repair of your furnace.Lastly Gregg, an appliance technician, who we called because the ice maker on our 18 year old refrigerator quit making ice. He arrive on time, was courteous and went right to work evaluating the problem. The motor controlling the ice maker finally went kapoot! Because of the age of the frig it wouldn’t be covered under the warranty. He could get the part and put it in for $350. I want a new refrigerator next year so no need to put any money in this one. Gregg didn’t pressure us one way or the other. I would trust Gregg to honestly give advice and fix our appliances.In closing, TMI is the only company to go with if you are looking for a home warranty and live in the Quad Cities. If you need any Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, or appliance repair needs TMI is the place to call. You won’t regret it.

    TMI came a little earlier than the appointed time. They called to let me know before which was fine.This was an A/C checkup. After a complete inspection of the unit and cleaning we were given a great review. The TMI technicians have always been great to deal with.
