    I am still giving a 5 star review, even though my heater was misdiagnosed.I called Texas and Summer heating and cooling because they have so many 5 star reviews.I have a furnace that is not coming on and didn’t have time to mess with it.David was very prompt, professional and had good communication.He came on time and diagnosed the furnace’s problem to be the inducer fan, on Saturday. He called me Monday to update me with part pricing and that it would be a $600 part and $800 total; parts and labor to install. Told him that $800 is too expensive for me, he suggested that if I can install it myself, that would be the cheaper route.Before I ordered the $600 dollar inducer motor exhaust fan, I tested it myself and wired it directly to the 110v plug and it worked. I texted David and showed him the videos that I took of the fan working and asked him if I could get a refund for the $89 diagnostic fee because he missed diagnosed the furnace problem. David called me right away and apologized and refunded me the $89 no questions ask.I gave a 5 star review because people make mistakes and he seems genuine about it.I would still call him again for repairs…absolutely.

    David and his son, Kevin, were extraordinary! They came in and saved us from a situation of getting taking advantage of by another company. David was honest in sharing that there was no issue and is extremely knowledgeable in his field. I recommend this company to anyone! They have our business from here out. Thank you, David and Kevin!

    Texas SummerExcellentTexas Summers is a small family-owned business operated by David, with his son Kevin assisting him. David prides himself on the quality of his work and the reputation of his business. He promptly responded to my service call and arrived at my residence within two hours. Regrettably, I had neglected to change my air filter, necessitating the removal of my blower motor and evaporator coils to thoroughly clean the accumulated dirt. Additionally, he identified and repaired a leak in my system and replenished the refrigerant. My home is now pleasantly cool. I highly recommend David if you seek to support a small family business run by an honest, knowledgeable, friendly, and reasonably priced individual.

    Communication was great right from the beginning the guys were very accommodating to schedule appointment for service. I got text messages to update me on arrival of technician and who to expect at my door which was very thoughtful. When David arrived he was asking questions and listened to my needs for service and was so helpful with answering my questions. David did a full circle inspection on my units helped me with my filters and even showed me photos of my units to provide important information to better help me understand the conditions of my units and what services would look like in the future. I am so impressed with care and quality of service and am looking forward to future business

    I was calling around to find someone for my daughter and I was surprised that a lot of contractors were charging a service call fee plus a labor charge. I’m in the service industry and we only charge a service call fee which covers 2 hours of labor.Luckily I called David over at Summer Heat and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Where other companies were going to charge over $600 for the repair, he was able to do it for a little over $200.I would highly recommend Summer Heat to all of my friends in El Paso and we will be using only him from now on!

    This was the best experience I have had with a repair person in a very long time. The technician was on time, friendly, and professional. A 40 year old furnace was repaired to working order under budget and very quickly. Do not hesitate, call them if you need any HVAC work.

    I had a brand new unit installed by one way heating and cooling. They scheduled a service appointment today and never showed. I called Texas summer and the tech came right away and fixed the issue. Turned out the one way providers installed the unit incorrectly. I appreciate the amazing service.

    This company was professional they arrived early thank goodness. They had a plan of what needed to be done asked if I had any questions and began working. They fixed the problem in under 30 minutes and our house is nice and cool. Texas Summer is my new air conditioning team. Great service from start to finish. I highly recommend them.     Our AC blower went out unexpectedly in the heat of the day. Texas Summer was able to get someone out to the house within 40 minutes and diagnose the problem. Our tech David, was very communicative and explained the issue and even answered questions after he had left. Will recommend to all my friends!!

    Strongly recommend Texas Summer for HVAC repair. David came to my house, took 5 mins to identify the problem, quick repair. Problem was a loose cable I accidentally disconnected after changing the filter. I appreciated his honesty, he added some zip ties and my unit is now working again, with organized cables so the problem doesn’t happen again. It’s hard to find trustworthy advice, so now I’m a loyal customer.

    They were able to come out the same day I called. Showed me the pipe with a blockage that was causing water to leak over the roof and onto the patio. Cleaned the pipe and the unit along with a tune up. They were fast, efficient and very reasonably priced. Will be calling them again for future routine maintenance.

    David provided a service that is far superior than any of the other AC companies in El Paso that I have hired.He is extremely informative and had plenty of patience when I asked him questions about efficiency and even guided me on what would work best for my current situation.This is not a paid review and I did not receive any sort of discount for writing this. I am simply looking to help out anybody else that is looking for an Expert AC technician that will show up on time, works hard no matter the time of day, and gets the job done!     The issue with our downstairs HVAC was maintenance related and we had just had both our units serviced about a month or so ago. The owner David could’ve easily told me the problem was something else and charged us and I would’ve never known but he was very honest about it, and didn’t charge us. And that’s why we will always use his services and recommend them to all! Local and Family owned business!

    Was such an amazing experience. The gentleman checked from outside to inside, EVERYTHING ! I couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. His knowledge on the subject made everything easy to explain and retain. I will not go anywhere else’s. Good service is hard to find 10/10 I believe my technician was Kevin. I’m really bad with names haha.March 3rd, 2025 :I just had him come out and replace my motor for my a/c. There isn’t anyone I’d trust. I called him this morning and gave him what little I had on the motor. He did the leg work and showed up less then two hours later in the middle of 30mph dust winds. Replaced it for me, no hassle. Like I said above. Amazing experience and this is why months after our appointment,I came back like I said I would to have him fix my unit. Such a stand up guy 10/10
