We think this company is more reliable and honest compared with past contractors. We’ve been using Texas Air Zone for about 5 years and are happy with their services. The technicians are knowledgeable and great communicators. The company keeps excellent records of past invoices and recommendations. Since we have two units (zones) for our 1992 two-story house, record-keeping is important.

The MOST AMAZING AC experience I’ve ever had. Called at 4:55pm, was given an ETA of 7-8pm. Jackie was the most pleasant and helpful voice from the get-go, very compassionate. Luis , the tech showed up at 6:20 and was done in 30-45 mins and the fix was so simple I was only charged the after-hours service call fee of $185. I literally cried tears of joy from relief of not being told it’ll take $1,000s to repair and he displayed sweet compassion as well. These folks really really care. Thank you so so much!

We called Texas Air Zone because our hvac was blowing cool air with the heat on. Mario quickly discovered that our heat was miswired and fixed it straight away. Sounds simple yet it had been that way from Day 1 and none of the dozen or so prior hvac companies were able to fix it. Ill be calling Texas Air Zone from now on.

We love Texas Air Zone. Our new unit was installed in June and works perfectly. Mario is always great when he comes out to check the system and saved me this morning from a Komodo Dragon! 😀 Our 91 year old neighbor had an a/c issue at 7 pm. The house was over 85 degrees. We called and a technician was there with 30 minutes and had him up and running. We are so thankful for this great company and amazing employees that never disappoint!

After dealing with AC issues for two years and spending lots of money with other companies, nobody approached my AC issues from a technical standpoint until I met AirZone. I had a smaller ton unit and not enough return. They recommended going with a bigger unit and adding more return. They also did a very clean and professional job on installing the new unit. My house is getting cold now and I appreciate them alot. Armando Puente was the Install Lead and Carlos Grimaldo was the technician who designed the system. I thank both of them alot.

I have an older house and I appreciate the maintenance they do to help the heat and air run smoothly especially in the hot Dallas summers. Great company, very professional! When I first moved in they helped me not once but twice with air conditioner issues that occurred the first summer. They were extremely prompt and got the issues fixed quickly, and I haven’t had any issues since!

Carlos from Texas AirZone was on time, friendly and extremely knowledgeable.Based on another vendors diagnosis, I needed a new unit. I reached out to Texas AirZone. Carlos provided a fair estimate and valuable information that was not relayed to me from other vendors. While looking at the unit, he discovered that the other vendor misdiagnosed the problem. He was able to fix the problem on the spot which saved me a lot of money in the immediate future.I am appreciative of Texas AirZones honest and direct approach.

Texas Air Zone replaced all of the duct work for the two air conditioning units in our house after moving in. This will be a complete a game-changer for the upcoming Texas summer!! Their customer service is wonderful and the technicians always take the time to explain everything they are doing. They even came day-of when we had an unrelated air conditioner issue a few months later. Definitely will be using TAZ for everything air conditioning related going forward. Our house is super cold now thanks to Mario and the duct-work team! 🥶💙

UPDATE JANUARY 2025: I wanted to add that I recently had an issue with my air handler, and I had excellent service from both Luis and Mario, the technicians sent out to address the problem. They each did their part to resolve the issue while saving me money. Texas AirZone remains the HVAC company that receives my highest recommendations. They are the best!PREVIOUS REVIEW from 2022:I cant say enough good things about Texas AirZone, and specifically the technician Isaac, who in 5 minutes discovered another HVAC company misplaced a wire on my capacitor, causing the air handler to not work, and saved me the $4,000+ cost of replacing it, as I was advised to do by two other HVAC companies.My gut kept telling me the inexperienced technician sent by my usual HVAC company to do my Winter Maintenance Check did something to cause the system to freeze up, since it was working perfectly until a few days after he did that Winter Check. His boss came to check the system after it froze up, said my blower motor wasnt working, there must be a freon leak in the coils, and I needed to replace my 13 year old air handler, that it simply wouldnt work anymore.I called another HVAC company for a second opinion, and they inspected the system and also said the air handler needed to be replaced. Because neither of those companies could do the job anytime soon and I was without heat when the temperature dropped to the 40s, I called other HVAC companies to see if I could find one to do the job sooner. One of the companies was Texas AirZone, with whom I had to leave a message for someone to call me back to let me know if they carried the brand I was looking for.After I left that message, the second HVAC company called me and said they would squeeze me in at 10:00 am the next day, which I told Isaac with Texas AirZone, when he returned my call. Even though I told him another company was already booked to do the job, he took the time to ask me what happened to my system that was requiring the air handler to be replaced, and said that based on what I told him, the air handler may not have to be replaced, and he suggested a few questions I should I ask the company who was going to replace it, in order to make sure it really needed replacing.As Isaac recommended, I called the HVAC company that was going to replace my air handler the next morning, asked the questions Isaac told me to ask, and the head of the HVAC division answered them and still said I needed to replace it. And then a couple hours later--at 6:00 pm!-- they cancelled the job---apparently my questions spooked them, because they just texted me and said they werent the right company to work on my HVAC system.When I received that message, I immediately called Isaac back at Texas AirZone,--after 6:00 pm, and he said he could come in the morning to check my system and take it from there. As I mentioned at the beginning of this review, within 5 minutes he saw a wire had been misplaced on the capacitor, moved it to the correct position, and the air handler came back on and has once again worked perfectly. Needless to say, I have recommendedvTexas AirZone to everyone I know, and will continue to do so. They are by far the most competent, honest HVAC company Ive encountered in the Dallas area.

Texas Air installed our new American Standard furnace & ac unit in July 2022. From beginning to end the installation process was painless. Isaac was our rep during the purchase phase and I appreciate that he was thorough in explaining the benefits the system options that were available. It is almost a year later and we are happy with our new system. About 1 month after the system was installed we had a minor issue with a clogged drain pipe and Roy was sent to resolve the issue. I like Roys professionalism. Today he came out to perform our complimentary furnace & AC maintenance service. He took the time to explain what is going to be done, and why, and he showed up with shoe covers. Thank Roy, Thank you Isaac and thank you Texas Air Zone.

Greg, our technician, was very knowledgeable and informative and was able to identify the problem almost immediately. We had a 15 year old unit go out in July. Texas AirZone sent Brett to repair. He was able to and did such a fantastic job. He was knowledgeable and promptly got A/C going! He warned that the unit wasn’t going to last much longer, so we got an estimate for a new unit. We decided to replace and it was a good decision because the unit gave up within a week. In July!! The day of install was truly an incredible experience. Texas AirZone sent close to 25 men to install. They knew what to do and they worked in such an organized fashion so quickly. They were done in 5 hours with a new unit and 2 ducts installed. We just had our first service call with Logan to see how the system is running.Everyone is courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. We will continue to use this company and definitely recommend to anyone who has A/C trouble.

They have responded quickly and always have been able to find a fix to get us up and running at a minimal price. They never once have pressured us to replace the old unit, so when Texas AirZone told us they couldn’t save it this time we looked no further. A very good decision on our partTheir response was immediate and the estimate was competitive. Our technician, Issac Zacoda, even was able to schedule the install crew to come out the Saturday before Easter. They were here at 7:30 and by 12:30 our house was cool. The whole crew worked professionally and quietly. Texas Arizona was wonderful. I have an autoimmune disease that if I get too hot I can start with a seizure and they realized my issue and came out as quickly as possible the next morning so I wasnt without air conditioning in the middle of July in texas. They did great work it was good for the work they did was the value they were courteous and they called and told me when they were going to be close to my house so that I was waiting for them and they finished on time I highly recommend them.

I have used Texas AirZone for over 5 yrs for my A/C and Heating system maintenance. Since the first maintenance, Brett came out to service. He is professional and knowledgeable. He educates me of his service. He will show me any parts he recommends to be replaced due to wear and tear, which has only been 2 in the yrs using them and my unit is 10 yrs old. I feel comfortable with his expertise and trust him to perform a proper maintenance service twice a year. I always request Brett to do my maintenance service and they always comply with my request. Thank you Brett for always showing up and most of all for being honest. Also, the personnel scheduling the appts have always been helpful and pleasant to speak with.

The crew from Texas AirZone installed a new air conditioner, furnace, and ducting in my house in May. They were also replacing all the vents and putting in a new air return so they had to repair the texture on the ceiling in a few places. They did a great job! They were very kind and respectful, they cleaned up after themselves, and our system works wonderfully. The crew boss showed me the work they did in our attic once they were finished and showed me how to use the new thermostat. I would gladly use Texas AirZone any time I have an an air conditioing problem!

I have used TX Air Zone for many years. They show up on time, they wear booties on their shoes when in your house, they were a mask. Every technician theyve ever sent knows what he is doing, and theyve diagnosed and fixed my AC issues every time. From little things to full blown unit replacements. I feel their replacement work is the absolute best. They take the time to go over the units that are best for your house and WHY, explain what you are buying with SEER ratings, etc in terms non-AC people can understand, and help you make good buying decisions. Most importantly, they stress the importance of upgraded duct work b/c what good is a new high efficiency system if its trying to blow air through 25 year old leaky small duct work. I recently had one unit go out, they sent Frank out, he was on time. He diagnosed the issue within a few minutes and fixed it. Did not try and sell me a bunch of stuff I dont need. Again, a great experience. There are A LOT of AC companies out there but I will always enthusiastically use and recommend TX Air Zone.

I have used Texas Air Zone for several years. They are incredible! I have routine maintenance done twice a year. Over the weekend my thermostat stopped showing a display . I called this morning and they came out this afternoon. They quickly replaced the faulty thermostat. They are always professional and friendly. As an added bonus, as the technician was leaving he noticed my front door knob was loose. He pulled out his screwdriver and tightened it up before he left.

We got our a/c and heating system updated about 3 years ago. the new unit is now located in the attic supposed to be more efficient this way. this spring when temps got high the a/c kicked on and it smelled bad like dirty laundry! very unpleasant, called them out and they recommended a treatment they do every 6 months to cut down on mold and smell issues. it was very inexpensive. we had them do the treatment and what a difference!!! very pleased. will always make sure they add this to our a/c maintenance when they come out. its worth it. my husband does do the recommended bleaching/vinegar of the line every few months but it was not enough to prevent the terrible smell we started getting this season. very grateful that this worked! great company responsive professional hats off to the team!

Did full HVAC system and ductwork replacement 3 years ago. The install was professionally done and easy to deal with. Excellent financing was available through their company as well. No problems with the system, has worked well everyday since the install and lowered our electric needs. We do the twice yearly service agreement, which has been smooth sailing as well. The same lead tech that installed the system was assigned to us for service, and he’s been the same tech to come out except once for past 3 years. Conscientious, competent technicians with well organized, modern admin. They are not the cheapest, but they’re high quality. No headaches or constant upselling. I trust them to do good work and be professional in my home. Definitely recommend.

We chose Texas Air Zone as our air conditioning service provider over 15 years ago and have been 100% pleased with the service they have provided over the years. At our previous home they installed new units (both conventional units and mini-splits), replaced ductwork, and kept ancient units running well far longer that we ever thought was possible. When we inherited yet another ancient system in a recent move, they kept that one going until it couldnt go anymore, and then last week installed two American Standard units and did a total redo of the ductwork. As usual, the work they did was perfection! Greg carefully measured the house and recommended the RIGHT units for us, and not just the most expensive. He has cared for our AC/Heating systems for years and is highly skilled, in addition to being a super nice guy. Texas AirZone has done an incredible job every time weve used them. This past summer our AC finally went out. Frank is the main person weve dealt with, and he is amazing. He bent over backwards to find us freeon that is no longer made so we could have some cool air while we waited for the new AC. He helped us figure out what system would be best for us without overselling us something. The installation crew came in and closed out old registers and put in new ones. They did such a good job that even the inspector commended them. As weve adjusted to the new air flow in our home, Frank has come out to tweek it and make sure its cooling the whole house. We have nothing but great things to say about this company.

The techs I have talked with were really good at explaining issues, conservative with their diagnosis and recommendations and just great folks. My 85 year-old father-in-law was told by at least 3 companies he needed to spend thousands of dollars on a new unit. TX AirZone fixed it for him for only a couple of hundred dollars - more than a year ago - and it is still plugging along. I highly, highly recommend them and we will continue to use them.

This is the second time Texas Airzone has done maintenance on our systems. The first time I was hugely impressed with the service. One of the systems had gone out and parts had to be replaced. Warranty info was used, thanks to Greg, and a lot of money was saved. Over the two years following the replacements weve had no problems which is why I had them out again for routine maintenance service. Again, I was hugely impressed with how thoughtful they were...all the way down to not tracking in dirt and spreading out sheets under the attic door. The office (real live voices) is easy to contact as well.

My a/c went out on a Saturday. I called around 10:30 am but didn’t hear back. I called their message service again at 2:00 pm and they returned my call quickly. I asked if he was vaxxed and he wasn’t yet, but he was happy to wear a mask that I provided when he was in the house. He diagnosed the problem quickly and had the part in his car. Texas AirZone are true professionals. They honor time commitments, are honest about the repairs you need and what can wait, offer a tremendous value and are just nice people. I called on a July day that was supposed to reach 98 (already reaching 86 in my home) and they managed to fit me into the schedule with no emergency add-on fee. Issac was methodical about checking my 2 units and diagnosed the problem immediately - capacitor died in 1 unit. He was able to quickly make the repair for me and get my system operational. Total cost was $282.I asked if I should have the other units capacitor replaced at the same time and he told me to hold off until it dies. No sense in spending money when it is still working just fine. How honest is that?Travis, Issac and Texas Air Zone team -- you have a customer for life!

Loved our experience with Texas AirZone. David did our estimate and took the time to really understand our house and the problems we were having. He even took a call at 9 at night to talk to my husband and explain some of things he had told me previously. Everyone working there speaks highly of the company. From the sales, office staff, and installers. David came on insulation day and made sure everything was going smoothly and address any questions we might have. A couple weeks after the install when the vent dampers needed to be adjusted, the company owner came and spent over an hour adjusting everything and making sure it would meet our air flow needs. We truly feel everyone at Texas AirZone helped us do what we truly needed to get the most of our HVAC system and we werent just being sold on something unnecessary. Really great company!!

Brett showed up a few minutes before our scheduled appointment. It wasnt quite cats and dogs, but it was raining pretty hard when he arrived. My wife, me and Brett stood in the entry-way and said our hellos and talked a bit about our concerns, then Brett went to work. Part of his job meant that he had to go outside and check a condensation drain on the side of the house. Each time Brett returned from being outside he put shoe coverings on; he was in and out maybe three times. He checked out our heating system and gave us a thorough report. Brett was friendly and professional in his demeanor. I liked the guy. We are very happy with the quality of service we receive from Texas AirZone and will continue to use them for our HVAC service.

Texas AirZone has been amazingly helpful to me. In our previous house our AC system died and needed to be completely replaced, inside and outside unit. They went over a lot of options with me to best figure out what my house needed so I didnt end up with more or less than what I needed.In our new house, I just started using their service contract to have my AC units inspected as summer approaches. They did an awesome job finding some upcoming issues that I can take care of now and prevent a system failure in the future. Before finding TAZ we tried multiple companies, all with various issues/concerns ranging from not fixing/catching issues or recommending changes/upgrades that werent needed to water streaming down in-ceiling light fixtures when bursting clogged run-off pipes in the attic. We were desperate for a company that wouldnt try to sell you something that wasnt needed, that understood HVAC engineering and most importantly, did business with integrity.Texas Air Zone ticks all these boxes. They have provided fantastic service throughout the years at a competitive price. When our units eventually give out, theres no doubt who will install our new system.Take it from a happy customer... Roy and Drake did a tremendous job and in 30 mins fixed a problem we’ve had for years (and didn’t even know about!) There are so many people in the HVAC biz who don’t do the work and quote you crazy rates. These guys went to a VERY difficult-to-reach part of our attic (we have an older house and it’s really tight up there!) and found and fixed the problem. 2nd time today I have had a great experience w Texas AirZone. First was back in the spring when they installed a 2 ton for our upstairs. Great work at a fair price and still working well today. Today it was 98 degrees and our 12 yr old 5 ton unit for downstairs stopped working. Greg quickly ( 30 min) came out and installed a new capacitor and has it blowing nice and cold !! Again at a fair price. Call these guys!

I’ve used Texas Airzone for 7.5 years and they continue to provide expert, excellent service for our HVAC and wine cellar cooling systems. We have a maintenance agreement to have our HVAC units serviced twice a year (once for cooling & once for heating) which has extended the life of our system. They are professional, respectful and reasonably priced. They also installed replacement HVAC units and done excellent work. Highly recommend.

Technicians arrived within 1/2 hour of service request. Diagnosed issue with exterior compressor/condensing unit very quickly. The unit was not cooling properly/struggling to maintain comfortable temperature. Unit repaired within 20 minutes, and now enjoying pleasant, cool temperature ranges (Will now maintain any reasonably set temperature with the hot/humid weather). Thank you Airzone!! I van always count on you to be there when my system has issues.

I have used Texas Air Zone and Greg since 2008. They are the only Air conditioning and Heating company to use in the DFW Metroplex and really should get 10 stars. Without reservation, I absolutely trust them and depend on them for all of my climate control needs. I have used them for the past 12 years and started with them when we began an extensive remodel on our home. They are honest, fairly priced, and expertly knowledgeable in the industry.They DO NOT CHEAT their customers and have always been ethical and honest as well as Geniuses in the HVAC industry. Other companies would tell you that you need a new unit, but these guys can fix it if it is fixable.....they do know. And they also do a BEAUTIFUL job on an new installation if you have to do that!!! TAZ installed two units for us 2 years ago. We had a major water leak/overflow from one of the units. The service man was excellent. He cleared the line. However he had to do a rewire because there should have been an auto shutoff when the water level (in the drain pan) was high. We were charged for diagnostic ($95.00) and repair. We thought we should not have been charged for the diagnostic since it was not wired correctly. I have talked to TAZ and theyre looking into the charge.Otherwise we are happy with TAZ.

We purchased our renovated 1960’s built 2 story house 4.5 yrs ago. The HVAC systems were very old, upstair’s unit might’ve been the original unit. Being first time home owner and new parents at the same time, I purchased the service agreement with TAZ to service the system twice a year.Service agreement: Throughout the years, the technicians never tried to “screw me over” (excuse the language, but that’s the best way to describe it). Knowing the age, condition, poor ducting, severe uneven air distribution, leaking refrigerants, so many companies would’ve taken the bait and send the HVAC over the cliff. But, TAZ technicians just kept the system alive over the years. I considered that a pretty good audition and aimed for a entire new system for the end of 2019.New system proposal: I do not mind paying more, as long as I get honest products. Brett did not try to up-sell, even when I left the door wide open for the more advanced multi stage system, he just gave me an honest opinion on the space constraints and my needs. I did not bother to get bids from other companies. The continuous honesty was all I needed to see.Installation on 11/26/19: it’s a complete overhaul for both upstairs and downstairs units...new ducts, concrete slab, an additional air return inlet, condenser, furnace, thermostats, and everything in between. The crew arrived on time at 8am and was courteous. They took time to vacuum up debris. Protective cloth was laid down on floor and carpet. The guys hustled and finished everything at around 7pm. I was given a walk through at the end, the ducting in the attics looked amazingly organized.I generally don’t write review unless I can really stand by it. I feel solid that my experience isn’t a fluke as 4 years of honesty isn’t easy to come by.
