I called about 7 different contractors in an effort to replace our two nearly 28 years old systems. Daniel personally met with me and went over everything in great detail. I wanted two new complete HVAC systems and additional returns installed. Their price was great but the personal service was outstanding. Every member of the team was professional and courteous. The job was completed in 2 days and has been working flawlessly. I will definitely be using Texas Air & Heat for any future needs and will recommend them to all friends and neighbors.

These guys are the real deal!I purchased a house recently and initially tried contacting the same HVAC company the previous owners used, but the rep from that company was not explaining the problem, only attempting to push a sale off the sense of scare and urgency. Instead, I got a second opinion from Texas Air & Heat to assess why my HVAC wasn’t providing hot air and had they were like a knight in shining armor. Explained everything, was really responsive and respectful of my property. To top it off, after their assessment and quotes for repairs, I was even getting a more affordable quote! Used them for the repair and they were even helpful enough to check in afterwards during cold weather in Dallas to ensure things were working properly.5-star service and company here fixing a leak in my HVAC system and ensuring I was good to go!

After my in warranty Trane heat pump failed to blow heat even though the AC still blew cold, I contacted a local popularly advertised HVAC company (not Texas Air & Heat), which diagnosed the issue as a faulty evaporator coil. The technician then quoted me $3,700 for the labor to replace the coil even though the part was covered at no charge by Trane. I then declined the service, and contacted Trane customer support about what my warranty actually covered. Trane confirmed that the warranty only covered the part and not installation. They then referred me to Texas Air and Heat here in the DFW area for certified technician assistance. Technician Daniel at Texas Air & Heat did his evaluation and determined that the coil was still good, and determined the issue was related to a heating element in my HVAC system. He replaced this element, and my unit is now working great! Daniel was very receptive to our needs as customers about to face the winter with no heat, and he completed the repair at a fraction of the cost quoted by the other highly advertised HVAC company wanting to replace my coil even though Daniels meter readings showed my freon readings were normal with no leaks. I would Highly Recommend Texas Air & Heat over any other HVAC company I have dealt with during my 30 years of home ownership.

Daniel did a fantastic job. We had all kind of things wrong and he had to make multiple trips. First no electricity to unit. We put new breaker in. Then we had to get a new compressor. When he installed that we had a leaking coil on unit. When they got the coil in he installed it. He had to come 4 times. Each time he had to get parts. These parts have to ordered. We are happy with his service and he will be our ac person.

We are absolutely grateful for Texas Air & Heat.5 stars for customer service and 5 star repair. For some context, my husband and I are first time home buyers. We just bought this home and have done some repairs on the home already. Our experience with repair companies has discouraged in our journey of homeownership so when our thermostat stopped working we were over it. We went to yelp and we chose to work with Texas Air & Heat and same day Daniel came and helped us out!Daniel was friendly and was more than happy to explain what the issue was. My husband wanted to put the thermostat back on the wall himself and Daniel even stayed to make sure there was no issues. We thought that was very thoughtful and kind of him. We are relieved to find a company who is honest, reasonably priced and just great customer service. We signed up for their annual maintenance plan to ensure that our 3 20-year old systems remain in good shape for years to come. Daniel spent several hours working through all the maintenance steps for our 3 systems. Afterwards, he took the time to explain all the work performed (including photos), and most impressively, he provided us with several cost-saving solutions to help prolong the life of our systems even further. We are in Arlington Texas had same-day repair! Even my dogs loved Daniel! Its a Good Sign when your dogs say AOK when you bring in a stranger. Daniel was great! Our heater was blowing cool air and the outside unit wouldn’t come on. We had the first company come out and they were pricey. They were ready to sell us a new unit (hefty price & overcharge for the repair). Told my husband we’re getting a 2nd opinion. This is where Daniel w/Texas Air & Heat came in. He was quick to respond and was able to come out the same day. He found the leak outside, just as the 1st company did. BUT, Daniel was HONEST about the leak… he also went the extra mile. Before doing any work, Daniel got a hold of our AC unit company to see if the valve was needed in the first place, it wasn’t. (The other company did not even suggest this). The valve was capped off and refrigerant was added. He had to come back a few more times as one of the coils burnt out on our inside unit and that had to be replaced as well. Daniel took his time, explained everything to us and was HONEST. He’s a very nice guy, personable, prompt, quick to respond and a pleasure to work with. He did excellent work. He kept us updated throughout the repairs. If you want good honest work at a reasonable price, Daniel is it. I will use this company again if issues arise! I highly recommend! I cannot express how much honesty means to me and how grateful I am for Daniel. I always recommend to get a 2nd opinion no more matter what!

Had the pleasure of using Daniel at Texas Air &Heat the other day for my clients home. My Husband and I own a real estate brokerage, so we are constants in need of a licensed HVAC company. Our AC guy recently retired so took a chance and called Texas Air & Heat based off their reviews and they certainly did not disappoint! Spoke to Daniel (the owner) when I called on a Saturday to schedule and we made an appt for 8 am on Monday. He was super prompt (even text when he was a few minutes out. Once he got there, he looked through the whole system and diagnosed the issue. I asked him to not fix it yet since we were still under contract for the house, but had a detailed invoice with photos of how to fix the issue along with price involved to supply the sellers. Texas Air & Heat will for sure be my new HVAC company I use!

I talked to Daniel at Texas Air & Heat after another companys technician diagnosed a leak in the evaporator coil of one of the HVAC systems I have in my house. They followed it up with a quote for its replacement, with labor costs running to over $1800.Given that the HVAC system (a 5-ton Trane XL 16) was less than 5 years old, I was suspicious. I requested Daniel to give me his opinion. He thoroughly inspected the system for leaks and concluded that there was no problem. As he put it, I would love to change the evaporator coil, but in good conscience I cant advise that you do so. All it needed was a little refrigerant top-up. Daniel has a richly deserved reputation for integrity and honesty -- something that is sadly lacking among many others in the industry.

I found Daniel via Yelp after a bad experience with a different HVAC company. He is the reason Google should have a 6-star option. He went to our business location on Labor Day to diagnose our AC issue and ensure he could acquire the right parts/equipment from a local supplier (some suppliers will have to order a part and take 2-5 extra days). The next morning he picked up the part and by the afternoon our AC unit was working like new. Hes responsive, dependable, and has reasonable prices.
