Michael and his team were awesome! He was the most knowledgeable, honest and easy going guy. I had 4 companies give me a bid and I really wish Michael was my first call instead of my last so I couldve saved myself time. One thing Ive learned through all this, installation is paramount and they made sure everything was perfect!

I recently had ShackHVAC out to replace my heat pump on May 6, 2020.Working with Michael over the phone and email to accurately quote the replacement was a pleasant surprise during the COVID-19 quarantine. He was able to accurately quote the job from pictures sent via email and confirmed with a quick site visit a few days before the install was scheduled. I had a particular Bosch 20 SEER (IDS 2.0) heat pump already in mind and he was able to source the correct unit and get the new system installed quickly and at a much more reasonable price than the two competing quotes I had received. Michael did fantastic work, going above and beyond to make sure airflow was optimized for the high efficiency unit. Through no fault of his own he had to return to do a warranty replacement of a faulty blower in the air handler and was very thorough in making sure the replacement matched exactly to the factory install. At the same time he double checked that the system was properly charged with refrigerant now that the outdoor temperature was within the unit’s charging specifications. After a month the system is working perfectly and I am extremely pleased with his work. I have already recommended ShackHVAC to all my friends and family.

The short story is that Michael is great there is no downside to using him, period. I had issues with one of the big box a/c service companies out there and good friends recommend I call him. It was not an easy fix but he stuck with it putting in a lot of thought and time. Well I couldnt be happier the unit is cooling better than when the other guys installed it. Michael is knowledgeable, truthful, and reasonable. If you need any HVAC work done call him.

Michael takes pride in his work and the end results show it. If you want your job done right call him. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He seems to greatly enjoy what he does. At no point did I feel like I was being sold more than I needed as is the case with many contractors out there. He presented many repair options and explained them all in detail.I hired him to adjust and repair my DIY mini-split install. He rebuilt my leaky drainage system entirely and along the way educated me on the particulars. He also rerouted my refrigeration lines and fixed some faulty connections. When there was an environmental issue affecting my system he made himself available on short notice and worked with me to diagnose the problem, provided great advice and pointed me towards the correct solution.

Where do I begin! Michael is a great guy and he knows his stuff! He was quick on responding to my questions over the phone and as a new home owner I asked him to show and explain to me what he was doing and how it worked when he came over. Shack HVAC is great! I got a few bids on a cooling system installation from companies around town. Not only did they come in on the lower side but they were able to install in two days even in this heat! There were some issues with the existing furnace but they worked around it and got the job done well. I would absolutely hire them again!

He went above and beyond what I expected him to do when fixing my heat. This is hands down the best HVAC company I have ever worked with.Just had them out a second time for ac issues 8/10/21 and they worked with me to get my system running properly. I called ShackHVAC, when my home warranty wouldnt cover my service request. The company whom my warranty sent to help me, wanted me to replace the entire system, which would have cost several thousand dollars! My A/C unit is almost 4yrs old, why does it need to be replaced?! I needed a second opinion, so I called Shackhvac and left a message.Micheal, returned my call promptly and his voice was very assuring. Michael and Andrew came out the same day and on time! Michael and Andrew were knowledgeable and familiar with my A/C unit and System. They were able to figure out the source of my trouble and get the issue resolved immediately. They went above and beyond my request and exceeded my expectations! I am so pleased with this company and recommend ShackHVAC. They take pride in the quality of work and customer service they provide. So happy !!

Michael from ShackHVAC took a look at my AC mini-split unit and quickly fixed the problem and charged the unit. He also offered advice on how I can maintain the unit and insulate my garage.He answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable.His prices were very fair, especially compared to other companies that I had called. ShackHVAC was the only company I could find that was willing to service my mini split (even though they did not mount and install it)I found ShackHVAC through google search — I’m glad I found them and I will definitely be calling them again. He is not the cheapest in town, but he took the time to explain the pros and cons of each option, and took a least cost first approach to repairing my very old AC, and he did this when other AC people wouldnt even give me a call back. We were up and running the next day, and Ill probably get another 5 years out of this AC thanks to him.

World class service, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Glad I found Shackelford Heating and Air when I did, I had a not so trustworthy (well known and advertised) contractor trying to charge me 3 times what this company did. I ended up saving thousands of dollars and I doubt the other guys would have thrown in all the bells and whistles Shackelford did. The customer service is also outstanding. The personal service and willingness to work with my needs, budget and timeline I dont think I would have gotten anywhere else. I have referred all my friends and family to these guys and will continue to use them myself. DONT call the swindlers on the commercials, go with SHACKHVAC!

I had 5 other HVAC companies give me quotes of 2200$ up to 3300$ because my Monthly Electric bill was 700$ plus. Because of my unit...Micheal came in and gave me a FAIR quote of 450$ when everyone else wanted to take advantage. He fixed the problem and now I pay 250$ month. will be using him and reffering him to everyone i know.Hes got all 5 stars for a reason!
