    A little back story going into this review.I had been looking into converting from evaporative to refrigerated cooling for close to 2 years. I had received quotes from many different companies, but never felt confident with them based on a plethora of different reasons. I stumbled upon Scotts and decided to contact them after thoroughly reading reviews and checking their website. Scott came out and his knowledge and experience was immediately evident. He thoroughly explained his recommendations based out our homes layout and provided 2 quotes later that day.The decision was made and the crew was ready to work 2 days later. The install was smooth and completed in a day. This included removal of the previous heater and evap cooler, fully cleaning the duct system, replcaing every register, and fully relocating the down vent for better air flow as well as sealing the old location. Once the installation was complete, the crew adjusted every register to make sure that the airflow was evenly distributed around the entire home. A little clean up and the job was complete. Since the install, they have called a few times to see how everything is and to let them know if something comes up. This is a company that takes pride in its work and will go above and beyond to make sure everything is done right and to the customers satisfaction. If youre on the fence like I was, give Scotts a try. I think youll be happy with the results.

    I just want to say how thankful I am for the service from Chris. My heater was not working properly and Chris came to my home to fix the problem. Not only did he fix the problem but also showed why it was occurring and how to prevent it. I have had other HVAC companies fix my utilities and have never gotten such a explanation like I did from Mr Chris. Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for HVAC services! Thank you Chris for being great. Scott heating and cooling will be my go to from now on!

    Wow As a military retiree now working for NASA. Scott heating &cooling is all about professionalism and youll receive very detailed quality work. Im so happy to say, Scott Heating and cooling met and exceeded my Expectations 100%. Like anyone would be I was nervous about the whole project of installing a mini split in my home theater that required cutting into the home. My home was built with 2 stand alone A/C- heating units. the theater room is huge and only has one vent(built 2012)REALLY? Well we had to do something to make a Room designed for comfort more enjoyable for what would be the point of having home theater room. Making the decision on who I would hire to do the install for a mini split would be very difficult being I only got one shot with whom ever I chose to get it right. Well I must say, after seeing scott doing some Charity work for a local housing projects here in El Paso I was truly overwhelmed and I didnt even need but one quote which was scott heating & cooling for my project. I most say, boy did I get it right going with scott. The Estimates are honest and their techs delivered top quality, professionalism and truly leaving your home very clean once the project is complete. Theyll explain how everything will be done before they even start also informing you, your home will meet or exceed the code compliance within the city Also theyll inform you that youre getting a permit which also included a city inspector to sign off with a pass or failure inspection. Well everything passed without fail, Scott heating & cooling even give me a military discount. Now how respectful is that!! Now for how well scott heating & cooling is established, how many businesses well tell you no payment is required until you are completely satisfied with the work that was conducted within your home.. Thx Sam the A/C advisor and Bryant and your co-working just a overall outstanding incredible company.. even my outside exhaust was custom installed to Compliment our home. As being military Retired a company like scott heating & cooling made me proud to have served our wonderful nation and they always tell you thanks for serving and not only do they say it but they show it with the quality and their wonderful military discount. I was never pressured to overspend on things I didnt need. Infact the price was so nice that I chose to go with a Trane mini split and my must have was to be able to use the unit by way of wifi. To my surprise scott heating & cooling Comminated my request. Bottom line if you want it done right with a seal of approval from the city scott heating & cooling is a must have company for your projects. No need to try and get them to lower their price for they well already quote you a wonderful price that youll love. Thx guys

    The worst thing a family wants during a heat wave is for the HVAC unit to go out. Last Saturday we woke to a hot house and the air was not blowing cool at all. My sister in law recommended Scott and I immediately called and made an appointment for Monday morning between 0800 and 1100. Steven, the technician called me at approximately 0930 and told me he was twenty minutes away. Twenty minutes later Steven was knocking at my door. After some troubleshooting and quick diagnosis, Steven gave me the bad news and the good news. Long story short. Steven showed up by himself on Wednesday to install some large and intricate parts for my HVAC which were covered by warranty, thank God. As always when it comes to large repairs, on Monday I did some research and checked out the competitors and I am glad that I trusted Scott with these repairs. By noon on Wednesday the Air was blowing cold once again. I will definitely recommend Scott to friends and Family for future HVAC and plumbing needs.p.s.     We have called Scott heating and cooling for a couple repairs and inquires about duct cleaning but Scotty came and helped us out when our unit finally died. He and his team figured out a new method of cooling our place using mini splits. He educated us on our building envelope and how to best cool the house most efficiently. We got rid of our HVAC and all the nasty ducts and installed 5 mini splits. The installation was done in a Day and for the first time in the 3 years of own ming our house we have a cold house! And our bill is almost 100$ less during these summer months. Scotty and his team are thorough and professional. Best money we have spent on our house. I highly recommend Scott Heating and Cooling for their knowledge, communication, and genuine want to help. Thank you Scotty and team we really appreciate you here at the Rezendes house!

    My air conditioner was not cooling and it was on a Sunday. I called and Lola was super attentive a courteous. She was able to get a technician out here on a Sunday within two hours from my phone call, Hector, the technician was extremely friendly and mindful of my budget. I called other places and they were charging me up to $500 just to come out here, I understand, itā€™s a weekend; however Scott heating was extremely affordable. I highly recommend them and will definitely call them again when I have any issues with my air conditioner.

    I just purchased two new split systems. Scott Heating and Cooling was the best priced and offered me an unmatched 10 year warranty on labor as well. The field supervisor, Joseph Gonzalez and his assistant Andre were total professionals and worked their tails off to get the units installed quickly.     Very satisfied with the customer service and the AC repair. Chad was the technician that came out on a Saturday. My 3 amp fuse kept popping on the AC circuit board. He found a part that connects to the main disconnect that had failed.Professional, polite and was a wealth of information. Will definitely hire them for future service.

    I was worried that my AC was giving out, called and I got their answering service. Nice lady took my message, I got a call back in less than 2 hours and was able to get someone out same day.     On Jan 17th my house flooded due to burst frozen water heater pipe. Scotty came right away and assessed the damage. He got ahold of the insurance company right away. He instructed me on what I needed to do next. They had to replace the water heater, the HVAC and the air conditioner. Scotty and his crew went above and beyond to help and make sure the whole process went smoothly. A special Thanks to Lola and staff back at the office to make sure everything was ok and if I needed anything else. This company is committed to their customers safety and well being.     Was having problem with a Mini Split, contacted them scheduled an appointment and they sent out Tech Chris. Chris knew exactly what he was doing and took his time cleaning and servicing the unit. Got it to work properly. Explained every detail of what was needed and what he was doing to fix the problem. I highly recommend them. Have been their customer for more than 14 years. From the minute you call to schedule until you get whatever situation corrected this company cares about the customer.

    Im not the one to go out of my way to write reviews but this needs to be written. I will say I was skeptical with this company at first because when I called to make an appointment I was told I had one at 545 and the tech never showed.... I called back to find out that I wasnt set on the schedule and Im not sure what exactly happened. But the professionalism, and the accountability they held themselves to was 10/10.They called back and apologized and made it right. Talked to a tech and their dispatch team several times before an appointment was even made on when they can come out. They called back when they said they were going to call back. Had a tech out the next day to get the job done. He gave me the quote and said I have to go get materials and that he had another service call but he will be back. He did just that, called said Im on my way. Came when he said he was going to be there on time. Did the job in a timely manner and was professional the entire time there and on the phone.Great job guys I appreciate the accountability you all had to make it right and do the job. When I had called other companies (I will not mention names) to have them come out for a quote. They never showed. Never called. Never made it right. Scott Heating and Cooling did.

    After having issues at our daycare and have 2 other companies show up and blow smoke, I decided to call Scottā€™s. I was treated fairly, they understood the importance of getting issue resolved and sent someone out ASAP, they found the issue and had to order the part, they were out very next day, repaired the issue, and got use back up and going, that says it all!!! Other companies did not offer to expedite the parts and it took them 3 trips out to center to finally find the issue, 800.00 later Iā€™m calling Scottā€™s they went out and verified the issue immediately and did all they could to help me. I would highly recommend Scottā€™s heating and cooling. They have my trust, being in the childcare business a/c and heat are a must!!! My kids are not going home looking like little tomatoes anymore. As for the other 2 companies I am respectful and I know karma will follow them( good luck)

    We have always had very professional services with Scott Heating and Cooling. Some months ago, we hired Scott to replace a mini-duct system in an apartment that we rent out, connected to our house. They worked with us to find the best units that fit our needs as an upgrade to the units that were no longer working. The installation was quick and clean and the system works fantastic, cooling the apartment. Recently, we were preparing to rent the apt and we went to check the heating function of the unit and, mistakenly, thought that the units were just set up for air conditioning. We immediately contacted Scott and the managers there, both Mike and Adrian, assured us--just as quickly--that if there was a problem with them having installed the wrong kind of units they would work with us to swap the units out for the correct ones. The next day they sent two technicians to check on the units and, to our chagrin, showed us that we had not been using the hand controller correctly. We had not seen how the controller slid open to reveal all of the function buttons. While this was a very simple solution, Scott demonstrated their professional responsibility to immediately address what we thought was a big problem. We are thankful for their attention and great service and their willingness to continue to maintain their professional service relationships with their customers.

    This company is great. They installed a new HVAC system for us. They were professional, offered the best price, and worked fast and efficiently. We had a problem with our furnace a few months after. It turned out to be a user error but Scottā€™s sent a technician out the same day. Gelasio was very knowledgeable and professional. He offered me a lot of tips on how to maintain and take care of my system to make it last the longest. Iā€™m so impressed with the service and highly recommend this company.

    We recently had a plumbing nightmare which started with an under slab leak. The repair to correct the leak problem performed by another company resulted in a situation where hot water was coming from cold water faucets if it came at all and alternatively the cold would come from the hot water side if at all. Even had hot water going to a toilet! At any rate we had a mess. We called Scotts and the plumber Danny came out and diagnosed the problem that resulted in rerouting the entire water system. Danny gave us a fair estimate for the repairs. He even recommended we consult with the plumbing company that repaired the original leak to see if they would correct the problem caused by the leak repair. That was a deadended attempt. So we hired Scotts to do the extensive repair work. Bottom line, Danny, came with his crew and began working at 0830 and stayed until 10pm to complete the work. Danny is the nicest, most friendly, polite and professional young man we have done business with in our 30 years living in El Paso. We will never use another plumbing service in El Paso. The office staff were just as professional and a pleasure to work with. Thank you Danny and Scotts for your help in correcting our nightmare! And Danny deserves a pay raise!

    After having numerous issues with my HVAC unit, I decided it was time to stop delaying the inevitable and replace the unit. I called several companies to come out and give me estimates. Scott Heating, Cooling & Plumbing was actually a fill-in for a no-show from another company. I received a call from Oscar on that same day confirming my appointment. Unbeknownst to me, Oscar showed up on his day off. Oscar did not try to up-sell anything and encouraged me to get several estimates before deciding. After doing some research, I narrowed my choices down to two companies but chose to go with Scott because of their responsiveness. We decided on a day to do the install, and the techs showed up with the equipment and completed the job the same day. There were some hiccups with the initial install, but after a follow-up call from Oscar the next day, he and Chris promptly showed up and tied up all the loose ends. I was floored by the attention to detail and quick response after the sale and installation of the unit. Chris was excellent and patient in explaining how the equipment worked and walked around with us to ensure all the work was satisfactory. It is so refreshing in this day an age to have a company take pride in their work and make sure that it is done right. Scott Heating, Cooling & Plumbing has gained a lifelong customer.     Ive been without heat for sometime now. Louie the technician has a fantastic demeanor. Hes friendly, diligent, has great customer service skills, and clearly wanted to resolve my problem. He explained everything thats going on with my heating in detail and in terms I could understand. When a problem arose that needed extra attention he had his boss come out and help him. I still dont have heat as Scott needs approval from my landlord/property manager to move forward with repairs. In the future I will recommend this company to anyone that needs work done on there a.c./heater.

    These folks are timely and very professional! Nobody likes an unexpected cold shower, and they were able to send a tech the same day for a temp fix on my old water heater, and managed to squeeze me in the same week to install a new water heater. They removed my old water heater, and had the new one installed in just a few hours. The new system works like a champ, and my family is happy to have hot showers again! I can absolutely recommend them as professionals and subject matter experts in thier field. They answered all my questions about the pros and cons of the different replacement systems, and were very polite and customer friendly. Thanks again!

    My A/C wasnt cooling, I called Scott Heating and Cooling and they sent a technician out the same day, after regular business hours. Chad called when in route to give me an ETA, and arrived on time or early. He diagnosed our issues quickly and had our unit cooling again. He checked everything on the unit before leaving.     Scott Heating & Cooling are fantastic. My A/C unit stopped working during the week it was 110 degrees outside. I called them for help, and I had two technicians at my house within 20 minutes. After a quick look, they found a loose wire and a bad capacitor. They were done and gone in 45 minutes, with everything working perfectly, and all for a very, very good price. Oscar, Sal, Mike and Aaron are the epitome of professionalism and customer service. I will only call Scott Heating and Cooling for my HVAC needs. Thank you for all the help!!

    I had a problem with my A/C in the summer. Scott Heating and Cooling came to my rescue. They came in a timely manner, professionally dressed, courteous and informative. As it turned out the problem was an easy fix. Upon completion, I was informed of a program that had a twice yearly inspection of the A/C in the spring and fall inspection of the heater for a nominal fee. Change of filters were included each time. I scheduled the fall inspection as I was having some problems with the heater. Upon inspection it was found that the thermostat, installed by another company, was inferior. The techs came back the next day with a new one. After installation I could feel a real difference! As a senior citizen it is important to me that I trust the people that take care of my home. I had different techs each visit all were professional as previously stated!     On Tuesday I was seeking professional Heating evaluation at my home. I called Scott heating to please sent a technician to take a look and advise. I have two furnaces that I was having trouble regulating the temperature . I could not seam to get the thermostats to function properly.Scott heating and cooling sent someone that same day. Around 2 PM. they arrived. One senior technician and a trainee.The technician was very knowledgeable, HIs name was/is Salvador Orozco.He offered expert advice. He adjusted my thermostats (both of them). He explained the upgrades to bring my units with the recommended upgrades.I am very pleased with their assistance and recommendations. I paid them and told them that I would take their advice at a later date. I will use Scott Heating and Cooling for all my Heating needs.     Lost heating during a cold snap. Called Scott heating and they were out that afternoon. The furnace had a major breakdown, and we decided to replace the unit. They were back in 3 days with a new Trane forced air heater. Installation was quick and skillfully performed. No problems at all since then. Would definitely use Scott Heating again.

    In the still of the night recently, I noticed a humming noise that I tracked down to my AC installation. Fearing an electrical fire, I switched the noise off at the electrical panel which included the compressor I was informed later. Fortunately for us Scott customers they had a responsive after hours answering service that lead to an immediate inquiry from a technician and a timely appointment to look into my problem. Once in my home he discussed my concern and understood how I determined it was the AC and then conducted a complete evaluation of my system after restoring power to the noise. It wasnt quiet enough until the AC completed its cycle but there was no questionable sound to be heard and it has not returned. The technic.ian, Joe, understood my safety concern and advised me to call if it happens again. I continue to be happy I selected Scott for my AC and Heating system.

    Update: I contacted Scotts as was offered below and was quite happy with the response. While I am still out a bit of money, I think they did everything they could and are truly committed to providing the best customer service and the best quality of work. Therefore Ive revised my rating to five stars. Thank you Scott Heating and Cooling................My heating and cooling system was purchased and installed by Scott last spring to the sum of $12897.00 for a Trane XL16c. Its an excellent system but even so I may have overpaid a bit, so its prudent to shop around. The only complaint I have about the functionality of the system is my living room gets very little heat in the winter. This has to do with the high ceilings and limited air flow from the single register serving the area; perhaps this could have been mitigated. The main reason I rate Scott H&C three stars and not higher is the roofing around the unit was done incorrectly and caused water damage in my house. I reported this during the semiannual inspection and never heard back from them. I had to hire a contractor to correctly shingle the roof around the ac unit and repair the water damage. This costed me $1500.

    Ac went out and Had them come out in Oct 2019 over the weekend and they were very professional. Mr Chavez diagnosed the problem to the compressor and came out that beginning of the week and fixed the AC...They even waived the weekend fee, and gave me advice on avoiding maintenance issues...First class service couldnt ask for more....thank you all...I put the date on here so people who read the reviews know that their reps now are 5 star...I cant speak about the past because I didnt have them before ...but now ...I wouldnt go with anyone else....

I called the answering service to request support because my furance was not working and to replace my thermostat. Mike responded in less than 30-minutes and dispatched a delightful professional named Chad. Chad called to let me know he was on the way and he arrived on time with his COVID-19 face mask on.
