    Full system change out, from my old but still functional 1996 SEER10 to American Standard Variable Speed Heat Pump 18SEER2 with two stage gas backup. Regarding the unit itself, wow! The technology and efficiency improvement is crazy. Regarding Reliable Air and Heat, Wow, even more! Great communication including text confirmations of appointment, text communication of we are on the way. Plus they were very timely. From the first call for a quote (I already had a competitive quote), their service was absolute perfection. Sales team came out asked me what I wanted to accomplish as I requested a new system and not a repair. Looked at everything I had, took measurements of the house then suggested a couple options. They told me my system was oversized and recommended dropping from a 5T to a 4T, adding some extra returns as my returns were undersized for even a 4T unit. I accepted the bid Friday and they were here Monday morning for the install. Everything from the disconnect to the flue pipe was replaced. The installation crew, Jimmy and Beto, were top notch. Worked from early morning to after dark on Monday. By this time it was starting to snow and too cold to fully charge the system, but I was good to go on gas heat. A few days later when our temperatures warmed up they came back, charged the system and did some more analysis on pressures. Robert said we still need more return so he increased the return size with larger ducting and bigger grilles until he was happy with pressures. They even increased the size of the work deck around my unit for better access. They centralized the filtration to a large 4 unit so I dont need four filters for the returns. Reliable Air and Heat was a referral from a neighbor. They exceeded my expectations in every aspect, and the new system does its job silently and efficiently. Im also a licensed electrician and know how much power my old system used. My old blower was single speed and pulled nearly 10A. The new blower on 100% pulls about 1/2 the power until the temperature in my house stabilizes then slows down to about 0.5A. The old unit had a 135A in-rush on start up. The new one has no in-rush allowing the system to be operated with a small 220v generator rather than a whole home unit. The old condenser unit would pull about 20A running. The new one highest Ive seen hovers around 17A but typically I see it bracketing 5A once the temperature in the house stabilizes. Good job everyone!

    I called for a last minute heat related service call. We were leaving town the next day and Wendy was so helpful and she got me worked in the schedule the day. The service tech Horacio was prompt, knowledgeable and professional. He was able to fix the issue right away. He even took time to assist me with resetting a thermostat that had not been syncing to the phone app for over a year. Based on my overall experience with Reliable Air I would recommend them to anyone

    Robert with Reliable Air and Heat was a pleasure to work with. We called on a Saturday morning and he was at our house within 1.5 hours. He let us know what time he would arrive and messaged us when he was on the way. Once he arrived Robert got right to work and resolved our problem very quickly.     Installed a 3.5 ton AC and high efficiency furnace. Workmanship was first class and the cost was competitive. The new high efficiency units look very good and all of the wiring, piping and drain pans are new. In 34 years in this house, this is the best replacement job I have ever seen. Keep up the quality.

    Manuel Vargas and Horacio Gonzalez came to do a yearly inspection of my HVAC system. The system is only a year old, but they discovered it was 4 pounds low of freon.     I used this company because they were very professional,.from the minute I called for an estimate until they left after installation. Robert the owner came out to my house to give me an estimate. He was not pushy and was very COVID-19 aware. He wore a mask and when he entered my house he put covers on his shoes. His company is very tech savvy and up to date with all the new systems. We love our new thermostats, ECOBEE brand. They are above and beyond the NEST. If you live in the vicinity of the Houston area I would definitely recommend Reliable Air & Heat from Willis, TX. Husband and Wife owners Robert and Windy have a great business that can be trusted.Update on April 25, 2024. Late last night, my air conditioning unit downstairs wouldn’t work. I called Reliable Air and Heat. They promptly came out this morning and diagnosed the problem. The problem was not the air conditioner, but the module on my generator that controls load monitoring. The module was bad and that this is something that happens after a few years when you have a generator. They rewired the air conditioner directly and now my air conditioning works. You can trust Reliable Air & Heat for doing a great job and diagnosing the problem correctly. If you need air conditioners or air conditioning repair, you need to call Reliable Air & Heat. I’ve called my generator company to repair or replace the module.

    The techs who came out did a good job. They ONLY perform one service - either AC or heater; I didnt realize that. Thats a scheduler deal that should be addressed.And one tech kept trying to upsell me on yearly maintenance. Like 4 times. Telling me once is fine; to continue to do so made me feel a bit uneasy. Still they did do an adequate job on checking my AC in late Sept; I wouldve like for them both checked while they were here.......

    My ac was not cooling and I had immediate angst, knowing the horrors I have heard from people with their ac provider. I am so grateful I found and trusted Reliable Air. Our coils were gone and putting freeon was no longer a saving technique as the hole was too big and ice was already forming around the coils. (see pic attched)Reliable air was able to address the problem accurately. The guy that represented their company was very knowlegable and profession. Also imporatant the price was fair and not gouging like some other places.They were able to replace and install new coils the same day. The guys also was very clean and tidy.     Beto and Jimmy are outstanding techs. I requested a tune-up before the summer hits. Reliable Air and Heat wasn’t the cheapest tune up price, but there were no add on costs at the end like other companies do.The techs were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were willing to answer all my questions and even showed me areas where I can gain efficiency on the return. We have an 18 month old baby, 3 cats, and a dog that they had to maneuver around; they were outstanding in doing so by not leaving tools around and being cautious as they were opening up the system.     Air conditioner went out on memorial Day weekend, I had an old text that I thought was just a automated appointment program. I just texted the number hoping that someone would get back with me and maybe be able to be out on Tuesday after memorial Day. Wendy texted me back literally within 15 minutes and had my appointment set up for a Saturday service appointment with Robert at 9:00 a.m. Robert showed up and explained that I was more than a pound low on my Freon which was R22 the most expensive out there on the market. Not only did he service the equipment he gave me a 10% veterans discount on a Saturday service call. I have used reliable heat at both of the houses that I have here in Texas, and I will absolutely continue to use them for everything HVAC related.

    This might be weird review to leave since in the end I did not have any work completed by this company, but I still wanted to speak about my experience.Robert showed up today to help me figure out a solution to my homes cooling issues. Upon inspecting the property, he did not feel that he could provide a guaranteed solution that he felt would improve the homes cooling.Some companies will try and sell you on a product or service at any cost, but this company had more integrity than that.Again, I did not have any actual service performed other than a quote for improving the system, so I cannot speak to the quality of their work. However, I love the honesty and integrity, and I would definitely contact this company again for any future problems.

    This business is absolutely amazing. This last summer, during the 110s when everyones AC was going out, so did mine. I had a different HVAC company that twice a year serviced my heater/AC. I diligently let their repair folks come to my house to inspect my unit, and paid for all the recommendations they suggested. So then, in the middle of summer with such scorching heat that you really dont want to be without AC (and I work from home, so its not like I have anywhere to go to get away from the heat), my AC goes out. I call my regular (now former) HVAC company, and they send someone out next day. Turns out I need a new blower motor. And supposedly, the part will take three days to arrive. I rough it out for 3 days, only to be told the part hasnt arrived yet. Long story short, on day 10 I have had enough of my old HVAC company telling me I can have my AC replaced next day, but the blower motor has not arrived, so I started calling around. And thats when I find Reliable Air & Heat. Not only did they come out the very next day, but they were able to not only find the right blower motor but replace it all in the same afternoon. I couldnt believe it. I waited 10 days with the other HVAC company while melting in the heat, and this company had it all done in less than 24 hours. And the best part??? The bill was only half of what my previous HVAC servicer quoted me. So not only did I not have to buy an entire new AC unit to have AC, but I paid less than I expected for the blower motor replacement.Needless to say, Reliable Air & Heat is my new heater/AC servicer. I am calling them first with all my needs.

    Bruce Kelly , the technician sent By Reliable ,was awesome . He arrived exactly on time for appointment. My A/C was struggling to cool my house. He diagnosed the issue with my A/C unit as being dirty from grass reside and just needing cleaning He then spent over an hour working hard to clean the unit. The price for the service was great. Reliable verified it was the condenser, but what the other “Guys” didn’t is verify it was still under warranty (could not find invoice from install), they found what might of caused the problem (cleaned coils in the interior unit), they had all parts needed for the job in stock (other “guys” 8-10 days, the cost with military discount $1,770.00. I looked at the reviews for Reliable all of them 5 star well that works for me.

    I must say that this company has to be one of the best when it comes to customer satisfaction. I had an A/C problem recently and made the call. Upon arrival the technician came to the conclusion that our unit was low on Freon and the only fix on the spot was a recharge considering it was on a Saturday late in the day. Unfortunately the coil was leaking so bad the the charge only lasted 2 days and we back in the same position with a hot house. It was determined that a new coil was needed and no repair could be made only a replacement. R.A.C. felt that it was only reasonable that i was not charged for the service call and Freon because it did not give us a temporary fix that lasted more than the 2 days. I did not ask for a comp they offered it to us. This company is awesome! You dont get to hear about the good people all that often so i think it was only fair that I let the world know these guys are legit. Thanks again Reliable Air....you guys ROCK!!!

    My air conditioner was not working ask for an appointment Monday and Wendy said let me check maybe I can get some one there today so you don’t have to go without AC on the weekend. Within 2 hours Dakota Jack showed up was very clean and neat, had it fixed in less than an hour. I would highly recommend them to anyone, the price was reasonable.

    Last year they replaced our attic unit. Yesterday had issues with outside unit. They were there within a couple hours replaced the capacitor. Unfortunately the motor went out the following morning. I called at 7:30am and they were there by 9am and replaced the motor. They were very fair and credited me for the capacitor the day before. I will never use anyone else. The whole team was great: Robert, Wendy, Beto and Dakota! Thank you again!

    Very responsive with high display of professionalism. All of my encounters with Reliable Air have demonstrated this consistently, including my call today on Easter Sunday. It was almost 90 and my air wasn’t cooling properly. I thought I would call the ‘answering service’ to get in the queue for Monday morning. When I talked to Robert he said that he didn’t want me to not have air on a warm day and came and fixed it that day.

    I called due to my AC dripping and they were extremely nice and professional. She got my information and made me an appointment for later in the week. She called later on because they had openings in the schedule for that day. Which was great. I was not enjoying dealing with water inside my house. Dakota was on time arriving and extremely nice and informative. He had no problem taking the time neccessary to make sure we understood what he did and anything that would need to be done in the future. He even went as far as having my husband (you would never catch me up there) up in the attic to show him issues that were there from hack job fixes from previous owners. We will be continuing to use them for all of our heating and cooling needs. We truly appreciate the help!

    Quick response. Had a stopped up primary drain and was concerned it might run over and do damage inside house. Dakota came and fixed issue and told me about their service plan and also recommended a different a.c. filter. Price was reasonable and I will use them from now on for my HVAC.     We had to replace our inside and outside unit. We got a new American Standard system and thermostat. Robert and his team are great.     My AC quit cooling at 6pm last night, I called Reliable Air at 7pm and Dakota arrived about 15 minutes before the 9AM scheduled time. He completed the repair on one of the two units in about an hour. He explained the problem before beginning the repair. He quickly identified the problem, replaced the capacitor, checked the coolent, and cleaned the AC fins. The cost was very reasonable. Everything was very professional and I would recommend Reliable Air to anyone! Another very satisfied customer!

    I had another a.c. Company come evaluate my situation, their service tech said that the evaporator coil was leaking that they had installed in late 2018, but lucky for me the coil was under warranty and would only cost me 1700.00. Dakota from Reliable came out on a Friday night after 6:00 and didn’t leave until about 7:30, it turns out the coil was not leaking the unit was over full of freon by 1 and 1/2 lbs and was not properly ventilated, (I called originally because the unit froze up and wasn’t cooling) I saved 1500.00 you do the math.     I woke up to my HVAC blowing hot air last Friday. I was so worried about finding someone before the weekend given the forecast was a heat index as high at 112. I called because of the great reviews at 7:30am and after explaining what was going on and that I was hoping to still make it to my job that day, I was scheduled a few moments later. Got a text confirming the appointment shortly after with the name of my technician (Dakota). In the end, he was able to show up an hour earlier than planned! He was very professional, wore a face covering with no complaints, and had my unit running quickly. Replaced the capacitor and another part. Would definitely recommend this company!

    Bruce Kelley was the technician who came out. He was very professional and he fixed the this quick disconnect replace the capacitor for us and then he checked the outside unit to make sure it was all running and he stayed for a few minutes to make sure it got cool in the house for us he arrived on time it was and as far as the company goes reliable was fair priced it would this was the last minute and emergency they work this into their schedule and they helped a lot and I was greatly appreciated I would recommend them anytime for any heating or air conditioning service you need or installation.
