    There is never a good time to for your air conditioner to go out! Jeff Ridley with Reed came out the same day to provide options and an estimate. He even offered my husband and I a temporary window unit!!! The equipment was in stock and the crew removed our old unit (in attic and outside) and installed the new equipment in one day!!!!!     Reed Air Conditioning Company has been serving my family with excellent service for two generations. For more than forty years we have been faithful customers. I can describe their service as being trustworthy, professional, top-notch, dependable, and knowledgeable in what they do. They come to our home regularly to check our unit, and change our filter as needed. The service men that comes to our home are always respectful and polite, which is an important attribute to us since we are seniors.Much of this first-class service is due to their Comfort Consultant Specialist Jeff Ridley. A young man and proud veteran whose hard work we have learn to appreciate. Two years ago we bought a new home which came with American Home Shield. The unit didn’t last and went out during the hot summer heat. We fought with American Home Shield for two sweltering hot weeks with no help. We called Jeff on a Friday, he was at our home in one hour and installed a new unit the next day on a Saturday. Thank you Jeff, your immaculate work does not go unnoticed. If you are looking for an air condition company to do business with, look no further. I highly recommend Reed for all of your air condition needs. I give this company five stars with no reservations. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    This company is amazing!!From the receptionist to the salesmen and even the installers! These are good people and they do quality work. They answered every call we had and got back to us quickly. We shared a need of a single mom with 6 boys with many different A/C companies that this family desperately needed a new A/C and Reed A/C jumped at the opportunity. They went above and beyond what they had to do for this family. They have our business and we are so proud to have a company like them in our area!

    We recently had our entire air HVAC system replaced by REED Service Company, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with our purchase and the installation.     I had the privilege of working with Jeff Ridley at Reed. As a metal building vendor, I placed an order for a Daikin 2-ton mini-split with him over a year ago. My customer ended up having severe delays. Jeff never complained, and held my price firm. They were just able to complete installation, and its perfect. They met my electrician on-site for a field check before installation as well. I am looking forward to continuing to partner with Jeff and Reed Service in the future!

    We moved into our home two years ago and continued to use Reed Service Co for semi-annual checkups since they were trusted by the previous owners. I asked that the duct work be checked because it was original and I wanted to replace it. Jeff Ridley wrote up a replacement plan and a work schedule that worked for us. The crews did a great job both in the attic and inside our home. Jeff did great follow up with us as the job progressed. They did more than we expected and we are more than pleased. We really appreciate the service we get from this company.

    Reed SVC CO. Has been great! I highly highly recommend this company. 1st time they serviced my unit, the guy was very nice and knowledgeable. I needed another unit replaced and I called Reed to do the install. The crew showed up and installed my new unit, cleaned up afterwards and answered any questions I had. They were very pleasant and professional. Best AC company I have worked with.

    We recently replaced the A/C in our small church. The folks from Reed were great. Jeff Ridley gave us an estimate that we more than fair, did not try to up sale us as others did, and was very prompt in his communication. Sarah was very kind and efficient getting us the information we needed for our church headquarters. The installation team was quick and efficient. I stayed to clean up when they were finished but there was nothing for me to do because they left the church cleaner than they found it. Very nice people and gave us a great deal. The estimate was exactly what the we paid so there were no hidden costs or add ons that they did not tell us about. I will use them at my home.

    I couldnt be more satisfied with the service provided by every member of the Reed Service team. It was extremely easy to request a quote after hours on their website and Jeff responded promptly the next morning. He was right on time and provided a quote right on the spot explaining the options available while being sure to address all of our concerns with our previous system. It was an easy decision to choose Reed Service and they installed our new system the very next day. We were extremely happy with the professionalism, efficiency and overall experience with Jeff and his team. Once installed, our house was cool in under an hour.     UPDATE: My issue was taken care of by a wonderful person named Sara. She sent a manager out with a replacement hose. The company did the right thing and apologized for the actions of the gentleman who caused my complaint. I plan to call Reed when I need ac work(far in the future, I hope.).First off, I was not a customer and cannot comment on the quality of their work, though my neighbor, who was the customer seemed to be satisfied. What I do not appreciate is how they damaged my waterhose, used the same Ace Hardware branded aluminum tape to fix it that they used on my neighbors indoor duct. Didnt tell my neighbor, didnt leave a note on my door, just drove off like nothing happened.

    AC went completely out. Jeff came out to quote us on our different options with absolutely no pressure to purchase the most expensive unit. He sat down in our hot house and explained how the different systems worked, making sure we fully understood what we were going to purchase. They came out the next day on time and completed the installation. All the guys were very friendly and knowledgeable of the system they were installing. Jeff was even able to acquire a better unit with a better rebate for us after we spoke about the initial price. Jeff called after a few days to be sure we were completely satisfied and that everything was working properly.     I normally never leave reviews, actually this is my first good review, actually great review. I was in the market for a new heat pump and did a lot of research online first, then I had 5 estimates done, REED Services was my first estimate. From start to finish this company is pure professionalism at its best. Jeff our salesman came out to do the estimate, he looked everything over listened to our wants and needs and then went through everything in detail and explained a lot of things we had questions about. He spent an hour and a half and made sure we understood everything, he emailed our estimate the same day. After the other 4 companies that came out and gave us our estimates, after each my wife and I discussed what we thought about the salesmen and their products and always said the same thing we like Jeff better and the equipment he offered. My old unit in the house was very a very small 5 ton unit that was in a tight closet and we knew the new units were going to be bigger and a challenge to install. Jeff came out with his crew of great guys and introduced everyone and showed them what they had to do. They had to cut the opening bigger to get the unit to fit and even then it was an extremely tight fit. The crew was here all day and had everything installed and working before they left, Jeff stopped out again mid day to check on everything. When they were done everything looked great and they cleaned up everything when they left. Jeff stopped out the next day to take measurements for the new door they were ordering for me, all included in the price. My wife and I really can not say enough good thing about the whole process from start to finish, even had 60 month free financing. the unit came with 12 year outside whole unit warranty and 12 year parts warranty, we also purchased the 12 year labor warranty at a great price. We look forward to working with this company for years to come and highly recommend them to everyone we can.

    Me and my husbands ac had stopped working. It was 92 degrees in our home. We have 2 dogs, one with congestive heart failure, so we started calling around trying to get someone out to help us. Being that it was a Sunday we didnt think we would get anyone who wouldnt charge an arm and a leg. Finally we called Reed Service Company. They quoted us a decent price for coming out and they fixed it in under an hour. Great service, great price! I did not meet the man who fixed our ac yesterday as I was in a room with my dogs trying to keep them as cool as I could, but Id like him to know he was my hero yesterday! And I thank him so much for helping us out. So many companies we called made excuses not to come out because they were thinking it was gonna be something they wouldnt have a part to till monday. They wouldnt even try. But this man from Reeds did, and I thank him so much for that. You guys are the best!!! We will certainly use you again if needed!!

    Reed is the best! I had a unit installed by another company and it was the worse experience of my life. I called several companies to come out and fix what this company had done.     When I needed the A/C in my new home replaced, my realtor recommended Reed Service Company and Im so glad she did. At our initial meeting Jeff Ridley addressed all my concerns and questions, gave me a great deal on a Carrier Comfort 3.5 Ton 16 SEER Condensing Unit, and got the installation scheduled in a timely fashion. He also showed up at 7:45 a.m. on the day of the installation to follow up and told me how long it would take. When Reed Service techs Adam and Larry arrived shortly after that to begin the installation it was absolutely chucking down rain, but despite the weather they didnt stop until the unit was fully installed, checked out and running. Carli in the office coordinated the payment process perfectly and relayed all my messages to Jeff and the team and was always charming and courteous whenever I phoned. My sincere thanks and gratitude to Jeff and all the team at Reed Service Company for making this process so easy for me and for giving me the confidence I can rely on them for professional service whenever I need it.     Very professional people. They have done our AC work for years. We have a service contract with them. Any time we have a problem no matter what day of the week or time of the day, we are always taken care of promptly. Recently our 17 year old unit had to be replaced. Jeff, the sales man, came out and explained all of our options. There was no pressure to buy the most expensive unit. The next day the installers arrived at the exact time we were told they would be here. They installed our new unit, cleaned everything up and hauled off the old equipment. Jeff came back and explained how to use the new thermostat and checked to make sure all the settings were correct. Now Reed is going to help me with humidity issues in my beach house. We could not be happier with their service and we highly recommend this company.

    I had an excellent experience with Reed Service Company. Was looking for someone to install a mini-split system Id recently purchased, and Reed was willing and able to come out very quickly, told me what they wanted to do, asked for my input, and had someone out there promptly to get working on it. Ive had many different crafts come to my home to do work, but Reed Service was by far the most professional guys ever.     I was in the market to purchase a new AC unit. Jeff came out , looked over what I had then sat down with me to go over what I needed and what needed to be done. I continue to shop around for the best option for me and my experience was not good. I had one company give me a bid over the phone without ever coming to check exactly what I needed. I had another company come out and he did everything but what I had called him for, then eventually tell me I needed a new unit. Those experiences was not professional on any level.     Reed Service Company was excellent on time, helpful and very knowledgeable. I had a tired old ac and reached out to a couple of ac companies in the area and Reeds contacted me and set up an appointment the following day to come out and review my system and house. I was offered 4 options to choose from and never felt any pressure and everything was thoroughly explained. Ac appointment was setup promptly and was exactly what I asked for and I received a follow up call to see how everything was going and if I was satisfied. Needless to say I was very satisfied.     We called Reed Service Co. to replace a mini-split air conditioner. They had the best price of the three places I called. All four employees we interacted with (Blaine the diagnostic technician, Jeff R the comfort consultant, Jeff the installation technician and Carleigh at the office) were polite and professional. There was an unforeseen complication with the installation that could’ve cost us several hundred more dollars as well as delays to the installation. Our comfort consultant, Jeff R, was more than helpful offering several solutions as well as providing additional resources to help keep our house cool in the interim. Long story short the complication was an easy fix and we were not charged any extra money for the additional assistance from Jeff R and the installation was completed on time. I highly recommend the team at Reed Service Co. in the Beaumont, Tx area.

    This business beat everyone else’s prices by far. The tech, Wayne, went above and beyond to resolve my problem. Wayne said he wasn’t leaving until the problem was resolved and he got dirty resolving it! Don’t see this kinda customer service anymore and it was refreshing to see a company place customer service first. Good company and good staff.     We decided to change a 20+ year HVAC system before summer. The REED SERVICE COMPANY is as good as you can get. We got bids from three other companies and Reed CO. came in with the best offer, Jeff R. was a great consultant for the job. Jeff had some recommendations for the job we had not thought about and it all come together very well. Carrier system is working well, we added the Air Knight air purification system and everything is much fresher. The install team was great, worked well together and very respective of the property. YES I DO RECOMEND THE REED CO FOR HVAC INSTALATION.

    The crew were amazing, massive 4-day project, with R & R of ancient ducting and 16-year-old indoor and outdoor units. They cleaned up after themselves every day, hauling out and away the old ducting from a very low ranch style roof. They were happy to answer my questions as work progressed, and there were FIVE service trucks on the last day to cover all bases and ensure that the installation met our expectations. The Carrier units themselves are so good (still in their first day of operations) that I wish we had had this work done sixteen years ago when we had the chance back then.

    Excellent prices and customer service. Andrew, the AC Salesman, beat another quote by over a thousand dollars and offered better equipment.     Replacing the entire system inside and out after our house flooded. From the initial call to install the customer service has been great. All the guys seem knowledgeable and theyre very very nice! I would have given 5 stars but install is taking a little longer (2 days) than expected. Which is not a big deal for us at all but for the sake of a honest review. Were not up and running yet due to the whole house being gutted and repaired so i cant say how start-up, adjustment of air flow, or product performance is yet but Ill update when we get to that point in construction. I anticipate this new Daiiken 5 ton, 2 stage, humidity controlled, bad boy is gonna work like a charm!!! Cant wait!     These guys are amazing -- I own several rental houses and will only use REED. This most recent time Blaine took car of me on an emergency call.     Its hot, yall.August in Beaumont is never very forgiving.So when we got back to our home with our elderly parents after a year abroad, it was a pretty serious situation to not have air conditioning.We called Reed and Blaine showed up the next morning at 8:30 on the dot. It took him a few minutes to find our problem: Heat and vibration over a number of years had corroded the connection to our compressor outside. But, Blaine was happy to inform us our compressor checked out and tested ok.We had a lot of errands to run with us just moving back in, so we trusted Blaine with our door code so he could come and go as he pleased once he found a replacement kit thatd work with our compressor.We figured hed take a few hours after leaving to find our wiring kit, but upon our return about an hour later, Blaine had already installed our new wiring and our home was beginning to cool. Weve been pleasantly comfortable now for the past week all thanks to Blaine at Reed Service Co.Thanks, guys!

    Damn, its cold.Replacing an AC sucks. First you have to find out whats wrong, then go about the process of finding the right guys who will do a good job, not bend you over a barrel, and have it actually work after theyre done.If after 24 reviews with 4.8 stars, including this review isnt enough, then you dont deserve Reed to help you.I gave a call to Jeff. Jeff came out. Jeff gave me several options, Jeff informed of these options throughly, Jeff set an appointment, and now my house is a refrigerator.The best part. I-didnt-do-a-damn-thing. I said what i want, Reed came out in one day, set a new inside and outside unit, done. The gentlemen that came out were very professional and informative as well. Any question i had was not met with a walleyed ummm so it was a great feeling to know that Reed has some good guys doin good work and not some mouth breathers that are only good at lifting heavy things.You need a new AC? Then you need Reed. Excuse me, ima go set mine to planet Hoth and sleep like im in a coma.

    I had an awesome experience with this company. Tom came out and was very helpful and attentive to the issues we were having. The only thing that wasn’t ideal for this visit was that he was two hours later than what I was told. I would have liked some one to have called and let me know that his previous job was taking longer than expected. However, the service provided when he showed up was worth the wait. Would use again!

    Tom Crump was my technician it was a Sunday my upstairs ac stopped working called several companies 8am Reed was 1 of two that responded the other company couldnt get to it till Monday evening. He spent about two hours at the house answering our questions and giving us advice on our options. We never had the impression that we were wasting his time.     This shout goes out to Service Tech Anthony Turner. Had a no heat issue. First Technician wired my thermostat up wrong causing the 3am fuse to blow when the heat was turned on. Second Technician came out and said I had a bad thermostat so I bought a new one just like the old one...same problem. So I bought another thermostat and waited on the Technician. I explained my problem to Anthony over the phone and he knew right off what the problem was. He rewired the thermostat and put the old one back on and wa allah the unit fired right up within minutes. Truly one of the most knowledgeable, honest Technicians I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Thank you Anthony.
