They installed an upstairs unit for us and did a great job. Had an AC check last year. Tech made a mistake that caused the outdoor unit to stop working. Company bent over backwards to provide an alternate outdoor unit for several days while the broken one awaited replacement parts (no cost). Service has been excellent.

Optimal air company very professional and very quick. Owner of the company Steve was very respective and taking his time on weekend in hot day to install the unit. There were couple of issues during the installation but the they took all necessary steps to eliminate them. Next day after installation owner came to check all the work and final tune up. I could not be more happier with my unit.Lennox 5t 16 seer 2 stage unit including all heating furnace ,condenser, evaporator cooler with 4 in April Air whole house media air filtration system. One more thing is Air Scrubber which purifies the air and kill all germs and it is working great.

Optimal Air Solutions replaced my upstairs A/C unit in 2019, and they have been my preferred and only HVAC company since then. I recommend their yearly Preventative Service Program. This includes both of my units, even though the other was not purchased through them. The technicians are knowledgeable and professional, their pricing is fair and their office is run efficiently. The people are friendly which makes it pleasurable to do business with them.

I never use the term the best loosely. But regarding HVAC companies in Houston, I can say without reservation that Optimal Air Solutions is THE BEST! Steve and his team made multiple trips to our home just after the recent storm, when their schedules were overloaded, to fix a pesky problem with our older AC unit. Optimal Air folks are very honest. I met Steve wanting to replace my garbage Lennox unit with Trane; however his recommendation to call the company led my unit for warranty work. The 2 coils on Lennox unit was completely rusted and leaked the Freon out. The installers and owner came out to ensure the work was done right. The team of 4 spent nearly 3.5 hours to get the job done right! I highly recommend these guys.

They have an answering service to take care of after-hours calls, it was very easy to schedule an appointment even on a Sunday. We had Jacob sent our way in no time, it was only about an hour before he arrived and a short while after that our house was back to cooling. He had helpful tips to keep this from happening again. We built a new construction home and moved in July 2023. The builder was contracted with another HVAC company. Ill spare the lengthy details, but will say after we put our foot down and said that company was no longer allowed to step foot in our attic ever again due to their negligence and incompetence, and upon the advice of an outside consulting firm the builder hired to re-evaluate our system, they brought in Optimal Air Solutions. They have been amazing every step of the way in addressing our concerns and repairing lots of shotty work done by the previous HVAC company. After the initial repair, I noticed something and they were out very quickly to repair the problem. They were just out again yesterday to do some air balancing, as it is our first winter in the home, so we needed to tweak some dampers. I received a call before the arrival window ended to let me know the technician was finishing a job and would still come, it would just be later. I greatly appreciated them keeping me apprised without me having to call. Additionally, every technician that has been in my home has been very professional and courteous, and of more importance to me, receptive to my concerns. They are extremely thorough and not just rushing to get the job done or providing excuses. I feel that they actually take pride in their work, which seems to be very rare these days. We are hopeful we will continue to receive the same service in the future, as we plan to keep using them for our HVAC needs.

I had a clogged AC drain line that lead to a leak on my ceiling sheetrock, and Optimal dispatched a crew ASAP and not only cleared my lines that same morning, but they also came back and replaced my leaking emergency drain line. Update for 2023: We continue to trust Optimal Air Solutions for our AC systems. 5 stars!Our long-time A/C guy moved to Optimal Air Solutions several years ago and we had a need for service at our new house. Optimal did a site inspection and found some insulation issues that we otherwise wouldnt have known about. They proceeded to fix and replace various components of our system. Some of the work was covered under warranty, but for work that wasnt, prices were reasonable. An Optimal tech came over yesterday for a regular maintenance service and was punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. I recommend Optimal Air Solutions wherever possible.

Eric Watson was our technician. He came out around 7pm. Our upstairs system stopped working in the peak of summer. The system is 20 years old. Eric worked several hours to try and figure out the issue. He was very knowledgeable and tried the basic stuff first. I wanted him to call it a day and come back tomorrow since he was working in the attic with the heat. He kept working through the night and finally got it running. I truly appreciated his efforts to get the system up and running after a long day of servicing units across town. His words to us before he left….” I wanted to make sure your girls had a cool room to sleep in”. We were touched. Optimal air has never let us down in the past. They installed a brand new system for us on a new home. I have referred countless people to them due to their integrity and honesty. I have worked with Steve Finley for years. They are currently doing a unique multi split system for an older home. Give them a shot. You will not be disappointed. They will not sell you things you don’t need.

Huge praise for Optimal Air Solutions! I cannot recommend a company any higher than the AC company we use. I was fully expecting to have to replace our unit at a HUGE cost... they arent cheap. I applied for financing through them, and was approved for the full estimate they gave me. So they had money in hand essentially. The tech came out this afternoon with Im sure the full picture and even though they could easily have had a big sale today, he fixed our unit for under 200 bucks. Yes we still need a new unit. But instead of taking the easy sale, they provided incredible customer service and helped us squeeze a bit more life out of the unit we have. Please use them if you are in Houston!!

The team at Optimal Air was fantastic. Joey came out right on time to give us an estimate on the work. He was quick, professional, and friendly and gave us a fair quote. The next day I called and scheduled the work for the following Monday. Eric and his team of installers were great. They arrived on time Monday morning with smiles ready to work. Eric introduced me to all of the members of his crew. They were all professional and courteous even with my giant lab barking at them every time they walked through the door. They covered the floor and stairs and even vacuumed when they were done. The work looks really great! My daughter came home from school and went to her room upstairs (which has stayed warm no matter what we tried before) and she immediately noticed the difference in temperature. We had a ceiling leak that was dripping all night. Buddy from Optimal came first thing in the morning and fixed the problem fairly quickly. Buddy was really cool, explained everything to me and did great work. I called a few places and Optimal was the first to get back to me. Very professional and once they became aware of my situation (newborn in the house) they sent Buddy over well ahead of the original appointment block. So as I sit here writing this review in my cool AC I can say I would recommend them. I’m not a review leaver, but it’s Houston, it’s hot and quality AC people are hard to find. $89 charge to come out, but goes toward whatever needs to be done. Price was fair in my opinion. AC problems are rarely cheap. Optimal is solid.

Optimal Air is professional, knowledgeable, and honest. I had several companies give me their recommendations for our old 1997 ac/heating/ductwork. Due to the spray foam insulation in the attic, we needed a 95%+ furnace with a concentric, two pipe exhaust kit to properly ventilate the gas furnace in the attic. Other companies made ridiculous recommendations which would not have fixed our safety issues. These other companies were also offering to install lesser quality, less well known equipment. Optimal Air matched my research for how to create a safely ventilated furnace in the spray foamed attic. In addition, Optimal Air, while not cheap, was competitive with their pricing. Once we decided to go with this company, the job was booked immediately and completed within one day. We ended up doing a full AC/furnace/ductwork replacement which now has both a 10 year parts and 10 years labor warranty. Piece of mind for at least 10 years! The day after instillation, a representative came out to do a quality check on all equipment to ensure proper instillation and answer any questions we had. I can’t wait to see how much electricity we save with our new 2-stage, 5-ton Trane!

I contacted Optimal Air after a terrible experience with another air conditioning company in Houston. I was at my wits end, and really needed the best of the best to come in and correct the problems we were experiencing. Great job by Optimal. 8/31/20. First, I used to do installs many years ago and appreciate challenges of the business. The quality of the installation was exceptional got a new Trane XV20I unit, furnace, Wifi thermostat. Included a new insulated plenum with dampeners, drip pan with float switch, new vent and drain piping, pad. I sent out for bids to 5 of Katy area / Richmonds top AC companies based upon reviews, BBB membership, etc. Optimal had the most competitive pricing and could deliver a Trane unit right away. Some responders could not get certain equipment and steered me to only what they could get (lower efficiency single stage units). Optimal had a broad range from low efficiency to very high. Others that had the high efficiency equipment were much higher than Optimal with their bids. Optimal also like some of the responsders included all the extras. The highest bidders even wanted to add on $500 for an insulated plenum which was included in some of the bids at lower prices with equivalent or better equipment. Buddy was the sales person and did a great job of explaining all the options. All the area providers were professional and sent out capable staff to represent their products.

I had continuing issues with both air conditioning systems.I did quite a bit of research and got quotations from several other local companies. Eventually I decided to change completely both AC/Heating systems.Some information that helped me choose Optimal Air:- Optimal Air Solutions were listed on the Trane website as licensed distributors for their systems.- the quotation that they gave me was at least at the same level than other couple of quotations I got. They were also very detailed in what the quotation included, and in the same price they installed whole house air filtering systems and new thermostats.- they came for free to look at what I have, what can be done and give me some options. (two other companies wanted to charge me $80-90 for a visit).How I worked with and how I feel about Optimal Air:- I contacted them through the phone. The lady that I spoke with was very helpful and she even gave me some info that other companies refused to give (for example a general idea on the range of prices IF the installation was standard). If she hadnt given me all the info, I wouldnt have even made an appointment.- they sent an email confirming the appointment I made, and could come the very next day. At every appointment, got a text about 1/2 hour before they arrived.- Joey came right at the time agreed, we went over all the details, he explained all the options and send me within a half an hour a written quote, with prices for all the options that I had, from replacing bits and pieces, refilling systems, to complete replacement.I choose to replace everything... yep... a load of money even if its a good price.- The team that replaced completely both systems came right in time.Bryan was the guy coordinating everything and he was very professional, explained everything, answered the 1 million questions I had, and overall was very nice and knowledgeable. So impressed with my service! They were recommended to me by multiple people when my AC unit just completely went out. I reached out to them on Facebook and they messaged me back the very next business day and camecame to my house within 2 hours of the call. I shopped around other companies to get multiple quotes and also to make sure that each company told me the same thing.They gave me all the information and didnt try to upsell me. They were straight shooters and their quote was lower than the other companies. I have been using this company since day 1. They have never disappointed me. They are honest, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and the communication is 2nd to none! They let you know what time frame they will arrive (2 hour window) usually arrive close to the beginning of the 2 hour window. Im a big fan of this company. We got an outrageous quote from one of the big name companies then I reached out to a friend for a recommendation and learned about Optimal. We had Reid come over and listen to what we wanted without pushing for a sale. He was very knowledgeable and informative. Scheduling and financing with Therese was a snap and the install went well. We had a couple small things issues that bothered me about the install, and after calling them, Optimal came back out and took care of the issues. Well, the story is the same as most. Every summer my A/C would stop cooling and instead of doing the right thing, I would have some random company recharge the system for me and move on.Short Review: Excellent Service/ Price/ Company - HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDLong Review:A coworker suggested Optimal after he had his A/C completely replaced and told me to give them a call for a quote. I had already received a quote from another company but decided to give Optimal a try.Called the company and a very nice person answered the phone and asked a couple of questions before scheduling an appointment. Within the hour I received another message and email letting me know who was coming to my house for the quote.Day of Quote: The next day, I received notice when the tech (Joey) was on the way to my home. He showed up a little early which was extremely appreciated! Joey, was very professional, performed a complete walk through and evaluation of my system. He made a recommendation and provided a price better than my first quote. I never told him about the first quote, so this was Optimals standard great pricing. After he provide the quote, I received an email not more than 5-10 minutes later with the exact details of the work he offered, in writing with the price!!! No games! I approved the quote and was notified of my scheduled appointment for the next day.Day of the Install: I received notification that they were en route and once again showed up a little early!! Yep, they are consistent with this good service thing, and I love it! The first tech (Eric) walked the house to identify areas that he would need to place drapes, to protect the floors. (Yep that good service again!) Then an additional 2 techs (Jorge and Chris) showed up to begin the work. My gate to the backyard was too small for the new unit, so they removed it and replaced it after they were done. While they worked, my original contact for the quote Joey stopped by to verify everything was delivered as discussed and verified if I had any questions. (Service Again!) They finished the work, cleaned up well, tested the system and walked me through everything until I was pleased.Would I recommend them, yes without hesitation and at this point Im ready to be their spokesperson after receiving this type of service. This type of experience is rare these days, but it seems to come naturally for Optimal. The Trane system is installed and the house is ice cold!! Im calling them back out when Im ready to cool down my work shed!!!

I’ve never meet an hvac company like them. Extremely courteous from the person scheduling my appointment (literally the same day) to Buddy the technician. For 2 years I have lived with a fancy 2 stage, 2 zone with smart thermostats that blew so hard in the master bedroom it sounded like a jet engine. No one I spoke with knew how to fix it (I’ve ran this issue by at least 4 companies). I finally reached out to Trane (the manufacturer) and Optimal air was recommended. It took Buddy 30 minutes to fix it! Unbelievable and can’t believe I waited this long. Great company and team! Thank you.

Joe and the rest of the team at Optimal Air Solutions are GREAT!Our upstairs unit stopped cooling the house and they came out to check and give us a quote. They performed a thorough inspection of the unit, including leak detection and provided us with photos of what was found.They then provided several options and quotes, and answered every question we had. In the end, they installed a new unit (inside and out)_ for the upstairs at a competitive price and premium service. We also signed up for their maintenance program (something I never do) because the value was very good. During their inspection of our old downstairs unit, they said that it looked good and that it could last 5 years, or it could die next month....in either case, we will be calling Optimal Air again for our HVAC needs.

Steve came out within an hour or 2 and diagnosed the problem. This was Sunday afternoon before Memorial. When he was able to get parts, it took about an hour to fix. Steve is both professional and personable. I’m very happy his company is doing well.

We had an HVAC issue on a Tuesday night. I contacted Optimal Air Solutions who scheduled me for service the next morning. They arrived on time and before Andrew left his work truck he put on his latex gloves and professional air filtration mask. They were quick to find and solve the issue and handled every step with professionalism. This was my first experience with Optimal Air Solutions and I cant recommend a company more. Their rates are fair. I will definitely go back to them for any future HVAC repairs.

Reid and Steve are the best AC guys out there! I called them after my home warranty company sent a different technician to my house. That technician spent about 5 minutes looking at the AC without even going into the attic, he left me with a quote that was THREE times more than what my home warranty would cover, with no explanation as to what the work would be. I called Optimal Air in a panic, they came out that night, spent plenty of time looking at my unit and in the attic. They explained everything that needed to be done and even took time to explain the other technicians quote to me. Their price was reasonable and fair and they got the work done that night!! Technician came out at 9am, checked out everything in a timely manner. He told me what I already knew, that I needed to replace one of my units. This was expected as there was a hole in the compressor and the wiring harness was burnt and had been blown off of the compressor. We talked price etc and brand options, and by 3pm a crew was here and promptly started working on replacing the outside unit and the coil inside. They also installed a disconnect outside and a new drain pan and drainage piping. It did take a little longer than expected. The crew was very professional and they seem to really know there stuff. I cannot find a single fault, even if it was an expensive job. Very happy with the product and the workmanship. The cost of the job seems fair when compared with the information on the Trane website, it was actually right on the national average.
