Water heater stopped working 7am. Went to Lowes Website, placed an order 730am, Mechanical Technologies contracts w/Lowes, ( customer doesnt buy products no ) Lowes contracts Mechanical Technologies. When the guy at Lowes asked me for my info, I hesitated, because I was going to buy a water heater. He explained HOW it works.Drove home, phone rings from Mechanical technologies, they send a guy to my house to check things out. 1130am he comes over, explained everything, I payed him in full. The driver was dispatched, 1pm driver shows up, shuts water off, does his job, 330pm I had a new water heater. The sequence is fast. The job is quality. No fuss.

Mechanical Technologies did a wonderful job for me. I needed a new water heater after mine just started pouring water. There was no shut off valve on the water heater itself, so I had to turn the water off to my entire house. They were able to come give me a quote the same day (a Friday) and they installed the new one, along with bringing everything up to code, the next day (a Saturday afternoon) Thank you so much for bringing a tech out on a Saturday so that I could have water in my house again, on top of having hot water again! Alex came and gave me the quote. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The tech was also super knowledgeable and his work was so professional. I highly recommend Mechanical Technology!

I was so very happy with the all the work and help the associate provided me. His estimate was so much lower than another company. The two installers who came to take out the old and replace with new were great. They said it would take 1 and one half hour to complete and I think it was less time. Everything is working great. The Tech, Luis, was amazing, he checked the heating system thoroughly. This was the first time in 17 years that our heater was vacumed and we have service the agreement. It was very dusty. Luis advised that this should be done every time a tech visits the customer. I was very pleased that he was our Tech. I am going to request him. Thanks Luis!!

WOW! Very Professional. Was having trouble with some mini-splits and the company that installed them was unable to repair them so after contacting the manufacturer, I called Mechanical Technologies and now 6 of the 7 units are running. I anticipate the last one will be fixed soon. These people are very professional, response time is great and price is reasonable. Highly recommend.

The installation of the hot water heater went very well. The installers did a good job. I just wish they wouldnt have started near 3 pm. One of the workers had to go to several home improvement stores for parts for the job. Luckily they completed the job when it was getting dark near 6 pm.

After having no luck with 3 previous plumbers including a $400 non fix we had a hard time having somebody come out timely. I called Mechanical Technologies and they came out to perform the estimate same day. Troy was very approachable and listened intently to everything I said and was good at answering questions. They gave me a same day estimate and had me scheduled and parts ordered before Troy left. I hope the replacement water heater goes as smooth.

The electrician was very courteous and respectful. He preformed his diagnostic with his multimeter and other equipment and found the problem soon after. I would recommend them to relatives after the problem is resolved. I would recommend Ricky to anyone, he is very knowledgeable and courteous. He works with his customers in finding the solution and fixing it promptly. Ricky is the best technician at mechanical Technologies.

I must admit I was skeptical when they told me they were replacing my condenser, but they sent the original crew today, and they were able to get my units working. They made sure to test everything before they left. I am so excited to have functional units.The process was a little rocky but all that matters is they work.

My down stairs furnace stop working right after a major snow storm hit Santa Fe. I found their advertisement from Lowels give them a call and before I knew it I had the furnace working . I had a Nest thermostat that was frozen … the device would not respond at all, even with new batteries. I contacted Mechanical Technologies and they were able to schedule a technician. After running diagnostics it was determined that the unit had completely failed. Did not have the same Nest model on his truck but was able to get a replacement at the local supply shop. Had new Nest installed and connected to my WiFi in about 30 minutes.

Amazing job! The tech actually listened to us! Refreshing when we’ve had other companies say no what I was saying couldn’t be the problem and never even bothered to check what I asked them to. Even though I have had this in the past and knew it needed to be checked. We’ve been dealing with our AC freezing for months now! This tech not only checked what we had said needed to be checked but sure enough that was the problem. Poor guy took out enough animal hair from inside our AC to make a onesie for the winter! He was amazing and best part was the cost was super reasonable… Thank you! (Incase you’re wondering I do change my filters often, but my house is a bit of a zoo with 4 cats and 4 dogs all of which shed!) These guys will be back out in the spring to check again!

Highly recommend this company.Chris came to check out the air conditioning unit in the duplex I am renting, and he could not have been more amazing! He was running early so the office called to see if he could come before the scheduled window which I appreciated since I was not home just yet. Much better than an unexpected early arrival. From the moment Chris arrived he was professional, patient with all of my questions, and he fully explained how the entire system works. (This is our first time having this particular kind of unit and I knew nothing.) we walked through the entire home so he could show me how the different dampers and vents were best utilized. He also recommended a different type of filter so the unit wouldn’t have to work so hard. I have not had a technician so thorough come to any home I have lived in. He was also extremely polite to my kids and dogs, despite it being a bit chaotic in the home as we unpack and get settled in.To Chris’ boss - keep this guy and give him a raise! He took a huge weight off our shoulders (and our electricity bill) and I am sure he has for many other customers as well!

Mechanical Technologies saw us day we called, most were backed up for week.The technician spent 2 hours to fix but finally we agreed 18 year old system needed to be replaced. Being authorized Lennox dealer they sent great 4 man crew out next day and installed. I went with because of their A+ BBB rating, which they definitely deserved. Also, reasonable prices, save yourself some time and go with the best.

I am updating my initial review (see down below). My two mini-splits for my barn had not been working right since installation. Eventually MT sent Ricky out to identify the problem. He determined the mini-splits had not been installed quite right, the refrigerant was leaking.In one long day of effort, Ricky installed new connections and recharged the systems with refrigerant. The units are working great. I have been very impressed with Rickys knowlege and skill. And Im grateful to MT for standing behind their work.========================================Initial review:Mechanical Technologies believes the installation of two mini-split systems in my barn is complete. But its not. Yet they keeping asking me to post a review.Yes, the mini-splits have been installed however the circuit breakers were not the right type. Power flows only because the panel cover is pressing on the breakers. The breakers cannot be fully snapped in place. Im uncomfortable leaving the mini-splits on continuously unattended.Yes, Mechanical Technologies showed imagination in how the inside units were mounted in an all steel barn. And how they ran the refrigerant and electrical lines that hid them mostly from view. However, the insulation on the refrigerant lines was shredded in places and I dont know how this will affect efficiency.Yes, the outside units are sort of fastened to the ground but even with my prodding not mounted in a way that I have confidence high winds wont take them away. They were willing to replace the original outside unit pads that are the same size as the outside units with something much larger that could be staked to the ground. Even so, the pads are just concrete looking foam. Hardly any weight to them. Hince the reason I wanted them staked down. But they are foam and easily breakable.Yes, the mini-splits have been running continuously while I evaluate their ability to cool my barn. Even without adequate insulation (correction by next project), the mini-splits have made a big difference in temperature. However, I need the breakers replaced and need an explanation why one unit stopped cooling for a few hours (no way temperature reached the target).Yes, I have contacted Mechanical Tecnologies several times and they say I will hear from them but havent so far.

My experience with Mechanical Technologies has been great. My initial interaction was with a sales person and he was a really nice guy. The installation of my hvac was done professionally. The sales person also showed up on installation day to make sure everything was going as i expected. The installer was very professional and extremely picky about how things done and how his work looked. Just a high level of pride in his work. The unit works great and they have a maintenance plan that works great for me. Worth getting in my opinion. I ended up getting a tankless water heater from Lowes a few years later. It so happened that Mechanical Technologies installed it. Unfortunately the installer didnt do a good job and I started having issues and didnt know why. I called MT and they sent out another technician who was awesome. He started by looking at the unit and ended up looking at other things like the house and how and where it vented, etc...long story short, he identified that the unit wasnt venting properly and got the system back on track and my venting issue was corrected immediately without an additional charge. Mechanical Technologies took care of me. Everything has been working great ever since and I still use their bi-annual maintenance services.

I scheduled an appointment for AC leak. The Tech performed a full system evaluation and found unit leaking water due tobroken condensate pump. The Tech replaced the pump, and tested the unit; all working properly with no leaks detected.My only issue is that my bill was about 100 dollars higher than I was originally quoted.

Mechanical Technologies is a reliable HVAC company, I called them they sent out a technician who is very knowledgeable and had some awesome Tools in order to diagnose the problem with my heater. It ended up being the gas valve so they had to get it the next day but they were here first thing in the morning got it fixed and its been working great ever since! I recommend this company, they charge a flat rate which is reasonable compared to an hourly rate. Comparing it to what others pay to have a gas valve replaced on their heater it was a great deal. Rudy and his apprentice Saul came out for what I thought was a quick fix. My heater was blowing out cold air, what I thought was the ingnitor swith issue turned in it to something completely different. Rudy found a propane leak in the piping that 3 other companies did not find when they came out. He fixed the propane leak and went back to the issue I called them for. Turns out the original installer failed to convert the unit from gas to propane which was causing the system to shutdown as a safety feature. Since this company did not install it I am waiting for the installer to come in and fix the issue. I was very happy with the service Rudy provided. (they wont (push)/sell you a part for what they can repair). I have hired other companies in between, and I have wished I had hired Mechanical Technologies based on their work & professionalism. I am a true customer because of this. This is an Honest company that will give you good service. If you have a complaint they will follow up and help resolve the issue.

My water heater had gone out during the worst heat wave in decades. Mechanical Technologies was the only company that would come out in a timely manner. Through a miscommunication a wrong water was installed. They a admitted their mistake and corrected it the next day with an upgraded unit. Splendid behavior from the owner and company.

Rudy was a great service technician. He was on time and professional. He explained how our system works. We are Happy to have the service plan for the heaters and air conditioners. It pays to have that service. Will use them again!
