You wont find a more trustworthy business to take care of your needs. We used to have another AC company for years, and it seemed like every time they came out we needed some new part or service that was $300 or more. McGarrett is honest, trustworthy, and customer-focused.

By far the best HVAC company in the greater Houston area. Called with a blower issue and had a technician on site within two hours. After about 5min, the tech was able to diagnose the issue and get the system back up and running. I could not be more satisfied with McGarrett. I will not only be recommending them to every person I know, but will also being using them for all of my future HVAC needs. A++++ 100/10!!!

HUGE Thank you to McGarrett A/C & Heating for coming out on Easter Sunday morning to fix my AC. I came home from a family Easter celebration on Saturday night around 10:30PM and found that our AC wasnt working. I called the only number that I had in my phone for McGarrett, but it was the owners (Steve McGarrett) personal cell phone. I woke him up. I felt terrible. I thought I was calling the main office number and was planning on leaving a message for them to put me on the schedule for today (Monday). Steve asked if I was needing it looked at on Sunday and I said, Yes we are having 30 people over for Easter lunch. So he showed up the following morning (yes, on Easter Sunday) and got me back up and running. My house was nice and cool before all of my guests arrived. And get this...he didnt even charge me for the hour that he was here! Who does that???? I was expecting a $500 service call charge since it was Easter. I will never use anyone else for my AC/Heating needs. Its so hard to find good honest service providers and I feel blessed that I found one on Easter Sunday. This was not my first time use them either. They repaired my AC (a different issue) last year and it was done very quickly and a very reasonable price. Rest assured, you can trust Steve and his crew.

Called to get my AC checked out due to high energy bills from Jan to March 2024. Steve came out after normal business hours and did a good inspection on the condensing unit. Couldnt find anything wrong. Didnt charge me an arm or a leg either. Turns out my electric company had my billing screwed up.

I just want to start off by saying, there is nothing like good business! McGarrett truly been a blessing to our small business. The owner went out of his way to explain what he was doing, he explained why he was doing it. I was hesitant at first because I was like this can’t be true, people just don’t do good business like this anymore. There has to be a catch but I can honestly say he showed me his heart and he is a very kind patient and dedicated man. He gave us a great deal kinda made me want to ask him if he takes tips lol so here is my tip, if u have a/c trouble of any short, this is your company! Thanks again for everything we would be stuck out if it wasn’t for y’all. From the first phone call to the very professional and kind young lady in the office to sending my payment. Very knowledgeable, no run around kicked it to me straight even when he wasn’t sure if I was gonna like it. He new what it was and what I needed to be told and followed threw each step. My barber shops slogan is Lather and Fade “where everyone is treated like family” well that should be there’s too. EVEN IN THE COLD THEY WHERE OUT THERE MAKING SURE OUR BUSINESS MADE IT THREW!!!!! I was very pleased 🙏🏻 and will be referring y’all to all my family and friends and local small business owner I know. 💯 Again thank you !!!!!

I love recommending this company. They are so personable, professional and efficient. They took care of my old system until it didnt run anymore and when we needed a new system, the price was competitive and the service was outstanding. This weekend I will be replacing the 2nd unit for my upstairs and I rest comfortably knowing Steve and his team are taking care of our A/C needs. Kudos to his daughter who is the ultimate Office Manager - knows her stuff and excellent customer service.

Our house had been battling AC issues since last year. Well yesterday it finally quit and our house was 90 degrees inside. After a recommendation from a neighbor, I decided to call McGarrett out of the 7,893 other options out there. Steve came same day and worked out in the direct sun. Found, fixed, and offered a solution with ZERO OVERSELLING all in about 10 min. Straight and stand up guy. Funny and very friendly to boot out in the heat. Will keep his info saved for sure!

Steve was extremely professional, knew what he was doing and made the whole situation easy to handle. he gave us a reasonable quote and was able to get out unit replaced within a week, During that week he managed to keep our old unit running. We had to replace our own a/c system, and I mean the entire system - Furnace, evaporator coil, and condensing unit (mostly due to age, but it had a few costly issues it needed and it just wasn’t very efficient anymore). So we had a new 5 Ton, 14 SEER, R410A, Goodman/Daikin system installed by the guy’s… and they did a GREAT job installing everything!! The HVAC looks and runs fantastic!! Super happy with how fast it pulls down the house, and that means $$$ saved! 👍5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️‘S!!

Steve came out and did the annual maintenance on my 2 units - the units had been making a vibrating noise and he narrowed it down to the lines to the outside units being pushed against the wall which likely happened when other work was being done close by the units. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this company!
