This summer, our AC unit went out right as the heat outside started reaching triple digits. We called a local AC repair company to come out and look our unit over and diagnose what the problem was. The Tech spent a total of 5 minutes inspecting our equipment and announced we needed a complete new system - air handler and condenser unit. It would cost us 12 to 17 thousand to replace it all. In a panic, we placed a call to Mayer Conditioning, and over the phone Mr. Mayer asked us a few basic questions and then suggested he send somebody over to look at it. Within an hour (!) a repair Technician arrived at our door. He quickly inspected the unit and discovered a blown capacitor on the outside air handler. He replaced it, checked our systems refrigerant level and had our house cooling down within the hour! He even went the extra mile and cleaned the inside evaporator coil on the inside unit. When he was finished, the Tech told us our AC unit was fine, and made a few suggestions on how we could maintain it better for an even longer life, such as the type of air filters that would probably serve us the best. The final bill was a small fraction of what the first repair company estimated, and as a result our family was able to go on a long-planned family vacation and then return to a comfortable house. Cory Mayer and his son went above and beyond for my family, and I simply cannot recommend them enough for your air conditioning needs. You will not be disappointed!

This review is long-overdue! I rarely post a review about any business, but credit should be given where its deserved. Cory and his son took on a project that no other company I reached out to would even consider. To give some backstory, our homebuilder in 2020 created every house in our subdivision has a vibration problem with these AC units. Most of the homes have an undesirable placement of the outdoor unit, just along the master bedroom wall! This means when the unit kicks on, the compressor vibration causes the two hard lines to directly transfer that noise into both the drywall and the fiberboard liner on the exterior of the studs. The vibration ends up turning the wall into a giant subwoofer, booming a wobbly bass note all night long. The summers are brutal here, and when you need rest the most after a long summer workday, this is the situation we had to try sleeping to. This issue has been a nightmare for us, as weve not been sleeping well for years. Ive heard of Cory through a friend who worked for me (he worked for Cory too). My friend told me the only HVAC company hed ever trust was his boss. I called Cory up and explained the situation. The parts for the fix for this problem were ordered, and the work commenced. I was expecting Cory to be the one to come do this work, as it was a somewhat complex job of decoupling the compressor from the house. Instead, he sent his young son, but let me say theres hope for our future. Corys son made beautiful welds on the piping - it was absolute art. The amount of pain he endured to make this job happened (and you know the angles you have to bend your body to do some of these jobs is NOT easy on the body) was what Id call extreme. He did not complain, and I brought him water during that hot day and enjoyed his company and conversations when that was possible. The cost of the job was unbelievably low, especially considering no other company felt this particular job would even be worth doing (and some companies even said that procedure and those parts wouldnt do anything to fix that.. thats just the way these units are.. loud and make lots of vibration). Well, just know that Mayer Conditioning is willing to go where the other professionals dont. In the end, the unit was turned back on, and I exclaimed to my wife to come into the bedroom and listen to the sound of what was nearly nothing at all! The compressor was engaged, yet the sound and vibration on the wall next to our bed was now more like the mere purr of an aquarium pump! I believe that this method Mayer employed will be valuable to other neighbors in allowing for a better nights sleep. Weve been actually having very detailed dreams and waking up a lot earlier than usual, feeling well-rested. This was the best money Ive ever spent on any service, and Im a repair technician who usually does everything myself. I was so happy with the work of Corys son, I left him the largest tip Ive ever tipped. We are happy with Mayer and will recommend them to our friends and family without hesitation. It makes us feel good that there is finally a hard-working, honest, and is very attentive to fine details kind of company in the HVAC arena. Youll not find a better company. Ive been looking around for years.

Mayer Conditioning added four mini splits to my 88 year old mothers ancient home and provided fair pricing, prompt scheduling, very high quality neat work. Communicated each step along the way, ran into a few challenges because of issues with the old house, thick rock walls, problem solved, and held original quote with no problem. These guys are honest, do business with high integrity. 100 degrees outside and my senior mom is comfortable and happy running 75 degrees in the old house. Improved quality of life for my mom.

Fantastic to work with these guys. The brand new unit that was installed did give us a bit of trouble, but the guys went out of there way to troubleshoot and diagnose the problem on their off days to keep the home comfortable. Everything is working well now. Their communication during the whole situation was exactly how you would hope as these sorts of things are truly emergencies during the hot TX summers. We always felt like they were there for us and willing to do whatever it took. They will be my new go to guys going forward. Thanks Cory and Bam Bam!

I am so happy with this company. I originally bought my air conditioning system from them and have been nothing but satisfied with their service. Since then, I bought a home warranty service. My air conditioner quit working and I called the Home Warranty company and they sent somebody out. They diagnosed my system as being out of freon with a leak that was going to cost me around $900 and wasnt covered on my warranty. I called Mayer conditioning and they sent out their first available rep. The problem was a capacitor, which was covered by the warranty. They accurately diagnose the problem and corrected it immediately. Thank you very much yall!! 😍In addition, Bryce was our technician and was very courteous, professional and timely.

Great company. I cant say enough about the thorough troubleshooting they did to make things right with our air conditioning. Cory and his son are extremely knowledgeable about what they do. Weve had other companies come in and bandaid the problem, Cory troubleshot all options and explained things as he did them. Great company, I highly recommend.

I reached out to Cory after a referral from a trusted friend and after dealing with the temporary band aids from my home warranty company for several years. He replaced my entire HVAC system for a fraction of what I thought it would cost and provided detailed instructions to keep it running smoothly. Best decision I ever made. I strongly recommend Mr. Mayer for all of your heating and cooling needs - plus whatever additional general contracting needs you may have.

Cory was very responsive by text and phone. He gave us a range of options and recommendations that were more affordable than the other bids we received with equipment similar to other bids. They were able to get us on the schedule quickly. Bryce, aka Bam Bam, and his tech were very courteous and tidy and they made the whole experience painless. We sought them out on the recommendation of a friend and are so glad we did.

Cory and his guys have come through for me on several occasions, I used them when my franchise business had issues, I’ve used him to install a completely new system in my house as well as the mini spilt in my garage( Which Cory suggested instead of running a new vent which was a great idea). If a Chicago Bears fan can can trust a Green Bay Packers fan like Cory then you got yourself a good guy, and I despise packer fans.

Well I gotta say Americas first choice came through in a very unexpected day,time when my unit gave out after being a cancer patient for 10 years and Ive done repairs my self in the past to stay cool or hot while being able at times but since it burned out my board, fuse and i just called cory up he came through ordered the unit same evening and had it up and running today Monday Cody did a great job everything looks,is running great great product, price i appreciate it the work well done thanks to the company,,Cory and his tech for doing a great deal of a job 🤘
